Fruit d'Amour Purple Gardenia

To me it smells very much like a vanilla and mostly tonka bean fragrance with a good amount of freshness from the flowers. It is such a gorgeous fragrance❤️ I’m not a vanilla/tonka bean kind of girl but this one totally stole my heart, making me want to give a chance to other vanilla perfumes. This perfume gives fall vibes 🍁 which is my favorite season/time of the year. Sniffing this perfume lifts up my mood, and i gotten a lot of compliments for it! The opening gives is a blast of alcohol but then after 5 minutes it’s becomig a warm cozy sweet yet fresh scent, Great dupe for ALIEN 👽 ! Longevity is around 4 hours on me, which is decent and longevity is decent to. Can’t go wrong for the price! there’s something SO addicting about this perfume! It’s my go to fall/winter perfume now❤️ I freakin love this SO much!

Fruit d'Amour Purple Gardenia by Emanuel Ungaro is a joyful fruity and flowery olfactory adventure; the emerging notes of freesia blend with the Mediterranean scent of bergamot and the sweetness of peach. In the heart the Gardenia emerges supreme, and other slight shades of white flowers. The musky base with the complicity of Tonka bean and vanilla makes the texture beautifully powdery and reassuring. Powdered sillage with Gardenia vittoriosa. Pleasant duration over time.

strictly a fall scent for me, nostalgic and powdery

Yess-yesss, I finally got a bottle of Purple Gardenia, and it's a big bottle 100ml / 3.4oz! It smells as I expected, very flowery, with much tonka in the beginning (I'm a tonka lover), and than the gardenia, very much gardenia, and it makes me think of sun and beach. Then there is the freesia and peach, very well blended, and the drydown is also very nice. I haven't got the time yet to test it's longviety, all I know is that I want more and more and I don't know when I will stop spraying myself... And, of cause, the bottle is gorgeous, but not purple, it is deep, deep blue :D

@WalewskaNoir: I discover Diva back in -85, than Ungaro disappeard in my hometown, now I have found ungaro at onlineshops. My favourite Ungaro is Fruit d'Amour Green :)) Fruit d'Amour Purple Gardenia last for 3 hours on my skin, and, it smells very good on my clothes :D

I like Ungaros frags. Safe, but none of them is ugly. I adore my Turquoise apple and Fou d'Amour edp. I am so curious. Bottle is so beautiful. Notes seems to be very promising. Mona, please share how it really lasts and projects.

Must have is all I am going to say. To the 3 of them. Just look at those bottles and notes. Ungaro perfumes last days on me.
