Ungaro Power

I have tried this on several times now from my local Beauty Base store where I go to use their testers to determine the scent, projection and longevity of fragrances before deciding on potential purchases. I am far from well off so I can't afford many fails on my buys. This last try, I put four hefty sprays on one of my arms to really get an idea of the performance. The first thing that hits me about Power is the uh.....power. It's strong. Then there is the simplicity of the scent. There is certainly more than just cinnamon and cardamom but not much. I get possibly some Amber and a slight boozy note like maybe vodka. There is also something sugary about it. Not burnt sugar like caramel but more of a plain sugary pop kind of vibe, 7up or Sprite, that kind of thing. It reminds me slightly of Carolina Herrera 212 VIP and a bit of Jacques Bogart Silver Scent. It's very sweet and young smelling, sort of clubby. It is now ten hours after I applied it and it's still fairly strong so the longevity is good with me. It projects well for about four to five hours, moderately for another few and now has become something just above a skin scent on me. I like it quite a bit and I may get some as it is a very reasonable price but it is not top on my list of priorities.

It starts really strong for about 2 hours then becomes a skin scent for another 3 hours then disappear completely with no trace, I wear it around the house or when I'm running errands, tried it on clothes but didn't stick around still. Anyway; not bad for the price I paid, it is an okay scent.

Nice scent, mainly Cinnamon in both the opening and drydown. You can’t see it in the stock photos but the bottle is a really nice unusual curved shape, viewed from above a letter C. Sadly the performance is appalling, low silage from the start, then 30-40 minutes maximum before it becomes a very close skin scent. Shame as it has everything else going for it.
