Melting Lust

Wonderful cherry scent! It is not a Lost Cherry variation and definitely not like Cherry Punk. With Melting Lust, in my opinion, you really get the musk that gives it something that’s kind of hard to describe for me. Compared to the other two cherry fragrances noted, I would say that you could say it’s more “airy” and “fresh”, compared to those two. Of course it’s not a freshy, as it still is a very ambery fragrance. In my opinion, the cherry note does is the star of this show, and it is throughout the length of the wear of this fragrance. Which is long-lived! It definitely outperforms the other two mentioned here before. I agree with another commentator that it doesn’t smell “like sex” like the promotional pictures would make you think. It’s sexy, sure, but not like, raw, dirty sexy. There’s nothing off-putting about it (unless you just wouldn’t like the notes in here, of course). I got a compliment on my first time wearing it. It’s definitely full bottle worthy, and in my opinion, these bottles are not overpriced. Good value, in my opinion.

Impressions over time: Initially it's a very candy-like, but rich, not one-dimensional children's candy. Within about five minutes it smells warm and woody, in addition to the dark rich cherry. The rum is there, but not one of the dominant notes. Half an hour in and the cherry is mostly gone; it's a rich woodsy smell, with a lot of floral sweetness starting to come through. After an hour it's a floral-and-wood combo with a lovely, resinous sweetness. After two, it settles into a warm, sweet, welcoming amber, with no powderiness or dirtiness. I'm going to need a bottle of this. It does evolve over time, but throughout is complex and sweet without being cloying or excessive. (Also I am not a fan of the name or marketing materials; although appealing, this doesn't smell like sex to me, it smells welcoming and charming. I would cheerfully wear it to work. If you look at Emil Élise's page, you would assume it smells like candied crotch.)

A FANTASTIC cherry scent! Kinda smells like a cherry version of Angels share by Kilian. Probably due to the Rum. It also smells like America. That might sound weird but if you're nit born and raised in America and you either moved there or visit, you'll know what I'm talking about. I think its the room fresheners and car scents I always smell when I'm in America, specifically the South. America smells like this artifical cherry and this perfume takes it and makes it better

When I first spray this on, it's very intense and much more woody and ambery and musky on me. But that disappears after a while and the cherry and rum comes through. This perfume is perfect for a night out. I wish the sweet and flowery accents would come through more, it sits close to the skin and I smell it especially on my clothes. The scent is like a rum-dunked cherry surrounded by mysterious woods, at night. I like it and it's an interesting scent, but I just miss that tiny bit of sweetness. I think this scent is perfect for christmas and could work very well for a more masculine person too!

The name is completely on point: it smells like s** in a bottle. It’s a wonderful cherry scent. Nothing like the sticky sweet synthetic lost cherry kinds. But it’s also a statement. You will be noticed with this one and not everybody wants to be at the center of attention (me included). It’s a deep, dark, rich, seductive, boozy cherry with a strong woody and patchouli dry down. Lasted forever on me. Not office safe! Wear at your own risk on a date or a night out.

A dark and warm cherry perfume with a small touch of rhum. It is a realistic cherry scent with a complex woody base. You love "Lost Cherry" by Tom Ford or "Lovefest Burning" by Kayali, you need to try this fragrance. Sexy, yes! Perfect for cold days. For a boss.

It’s nice but to me amber overpowers cherry🍒 cherry here is a supporting note, not the main character.

Moody and mellow woods slightly brightened by cherries. Transports me to a dimly lit concert hall with wooden wall panels. It's in the same family as Lost cherry and Lovefest, but I prefer Melting lust because it's more subdued and resinous, while the others two have a very sweet and boozy cherry note that can feel cloying to me.

On my skin, it smells like old, oily lipstick laced with a synthetic cherry note, topped with a sharp minty accord reminiscent of toothpaste or crème de menthe. Unfortunately, the combination is far from pleasant for me.
