From the opening, I get an unusual balance of sweetness and dryness. There’s a subtle licorice nuance alongside a smoky, almost leathery accord, while a dark, syrupy fruitiness lingers underneath. It reminds me of a thick, deep blue syrup, not necessarily fruity in a literal sense, but rich, dark and slightly mysterious. As it develops, tobacco and patchouli take center stage. The patchouli adds a gentle earthiness while the tobacco stays remarkably dry, yet the fragrance never feels rough or dusty. Running through it all is a warm sweetness that gradually shifts away from fruit and into something that reminds me of caramelized tonka bean. It’s smooth, rounded and incredibly well integrated, softening every edge without making the fragrance feel gourmand. What impresses me most is how it constantly changes. One moment it’s dry, spicy and airy; the next it’s deeper, balsamic and almost maple-like in its sweetness. There’s even a subtle animalic undertone that occasionally peeks through, never dirty or overpowering, just enough to make you stop and pay attention. Despite all of these contrasting elements, the fragrance remains incredibly balanced. It somehow feels dense without becoming heavy, smoky without becoming harsh, sweet without becoming cloying. Every time I catch a new whiff, a different facet seems to step forward. It feels like it’s balancing on the edge of a razor blade, with richness pulling one way and dry, spicy elegance pulling the other. Somehow, it never falls to either side. It simply stays perfectly suspended between them. A fascinating fragrance that rewards patience and keeps revealing new layers every time

Its like you took rich tobacco leaves and drowned them in caramel, then let them dry and put a thick cherry syrup on top. Its absolutly addicting. In the air its very warm, sweet and smooth, but up close its much drier with this animalic edge that keeps it from being too sweet.
