2nd best English Laundry fragrance behind Oxford bleu, this stuff is really good

Great scent, smells amazing but doesn’t last long.

I picked this up today for a back breaking $20CAD from my local drug store. First, as with all EL Perfumes, the presentation is quite nice & enjoyable. If they were to be given as a gift to someone who isn't a frag head, I think the recipient might enjoy the set up. I don't get much citrus from this, but maybe that'll change once it macerates a bit. What I do get are some nice florals in the form of, in order of dominance to my nose, Geranium, Rose & Lavender. Those stuck around for quite a while (somewhere near the 90-120 minute mark). And normally, I'm guessing a mix of composition & skin chemistry, Musk is a note that usually doesn't perform well on me, but that's changed here. The Musk & what I'm guessing is a fairly earthy (almost smokey-ish) Patchouli along with an Oakmoss that isn't as hefty as I'm accustomed to, add some weight to it, giving a nice masculine edge. Is this a masterpiece? Not by any means. I much prefer Arrogant from the same house, followed by Tahitian Waters, but this is decent. I washed it off after I knew what I was going to get, so I can't comment on Longevity, but my friends I was with when I sprayed a test spritz on my wrist all seemed to enjoy it as well, so it feels like it projects well. And again, for what you pay, EL Perfumes seem to gives decent little bang for what you get. Not disappointed with this purchase.

Armour by English Laundry is not the most exciting fragrance in my collection, but that's never been its job. Over a year ago, I got my hands on a decant of Allure Homme Édition Blanche. I sprayed it once on the back of my hand and put the decant away. Why? Because... Price point. Ever since then, I've been chasing that DNA. Armour is a bright citrus opening led by lemon zest, an unassuming, non intrusive floral mid, and a musky patchouli and oakmoss dry down. Is it the same as Édition Blanche? No. Is it close? Couldn't tell you. And honestly, I don't want to know. I'm enjoying Armour for what it is instead of worrying about what it isn't. Was it worth the under $20 I paid for it? Abso-freaking-lutely. If I run across another bottle in the wild, am I buying it again? Of course I am.

His is a fairly straightforward fragrance to me. There is some lemon when it opens but quickly dries to plain bergamot with, maybe, a hint of musk. Performance is poor. It has a total lifespan of a few hours but any hint of sillage disappears in an hour or less. Still, it’s a simple, inoffensive fragrance worth reapplying every few hours.

the smell is very nice, sweet and aromatic and not too strong either. the performance just isn't there for me though as I only get maybe 4 hours out of it with little to no projection. if you can find it for under 20$ at a tjmaxx then get it maybe but there are other great English laundry scents.

The notes of citrus aren't too intense, the musk isn't overpowering and it lives a little longer on the skin compared to other EL fragrances. I could see this as a daily driver or gym fragrance, considering its cheap price point and moderate sillage. Definitely needs a few extra sprays.

An Alluring Zesty Aromatic Scent , Fresh, Clean and Light. This is a modern perfume with old school style and It smells similar to the shaving cream ! English Laundry is perfect for the spring and summer. Longevity is good, l'm so happy that I have it in my collection. Rating : 7 / 10

What this I believe is trying to clone is Chanel Edition Blanche !!! Also similar to Jimmy Choo Ice but for sure I believe this is trying to clone Edition Blanche except more emphasis on the lemon zest and less on vanilla and the other powdery notes Full review coming soon !!!

A minimalist bright citrus and musk. Serviceable daily driver/dumb reach especially for the warmer months. As with almost all EL frags, overspraying is a must. Enjoyable enough and worth having if you can find it for under $20.

To me this smells like a mix of sauvage and Aventus. I get the musk type smell and a blue fragrance type of smell.

It’s is not trying to clone Chanel’s AHeB...it’s almost a battle if it wants to be a poor man’s Bleu de Chanel Parfum or EDP. It falls woefully short of both....but for the price, you can apply this every 3 or 4 hours throughout the day to keep it going. The initial opening is quite synthetic and harsh, just give a few minutes to come around. I really can’t recommend this because the projection and longevity are so poor. Saying that, if this is what you can afford and you like the DNA, have at it. People close enough to you will say you smell nice. Like the Bleu de Chanel line, one can wear this year round by varying sprays. Certainly sample this before purchase. Although it’s extremely inexpensive, some still might find this not worth the $10-$15. Personally, I gave it to my 14 year old boy.

This is just to put my 2 scents in on the house of English Laundry. Reformulated is real...many years ago I've gotten Tahitian waters, RIVIERA...THOSE WHERE BEASTMODE, fast forward I sen them dirt cheap at Marshalls/TJ Maxx.. so I purchased them once again.. i get home sparay Tahitian waters on, ahh it smells like the shell of what it really was,weak sauce, same goes for the RIVIERA ,weak sauce... than I notice the bottles are different, in as the newer bottles are more rounder sleeker, with curves, where as the older ones are more boxer not as sleek...my conclusion is anything new in these bottles are a letdown in performance....The worst one for me has to be London its gone in minutes....

A masculine but clean scent. Very gentle citrus and pleasant moss. It reminds me of Drakkar Noir if it replaced the spices with freshness. Longevity is just okay with about 4 hours. If you're looking to project your fragrance, this is not the one for you. This sticks close to skin. Longevity: 4/10 - Projection: 4/10 - Overall: 4/10

Along with any Fragrance from this house, they smell fantastic. Armour has a heavy musk/woody scent to it backed with rose. However, along with and English Laundry frag, they only really project/ leave a trail for 1-3 hours depending on your skin.

It’s a decent fragrance, but I couldn’t even smell it when I got it at first. It came in later. Great signature everyday fragrance for men if you’re on a budget. Either way is a good fragrance

smells like ginger ale minus the ginger if that makes sense, honestly really great quality considering you could get for 15$ give or take at tj max, Marshalls, etc

Don't even waste your money on this 🤣 every wearing, you will need 20 sprays in the AM and to reapply 4 hours later. It's not even worth $15

If you long to smell like a dollar store remainder bin, this here is your masterpiece.

It differentiates itself very well from the rest of the English Laundry line for men as it is the only one that is truly citrus focused. The presentation is stylish as always, with a felt lined heavy cardboard box and a beautiful square decanter made from translucent black frosted glass. If only the same care were put into the performance of the actual cologne. The issue with Armour as with the entire English Laundry line, is that the performance is really quite weak. This requires massive overspraying on application and frequent respraying throughout the day. Fortunately, it is an affordable cologne so replenishing isn't a big issue. But if you're used to using designer and niche colognes that only require 3 - 5 sprays for a day's performance, this is going to put you off. If this in fact is an issue, the citrus cologne market field is quite competitive and there are several designer and niche colognes that are also citrus forward that may be more to your liking with much better performance quality. Karl Lagerfield Bois de Yuzu, Versace Eros Flame, and Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme immediately come to mind but there are certainly many more out there. But they will also cost you two to four times as much. This is fairly priced and overdelivers on the presentation. As long as you're good with overspraying and respraying, it's a good value and a very enjoyable citrus cologne.

I originally hated this cologne, not because of the smell, but rather the piss poor performance the marketing bottle this is an EDP suggests. Within 30 minutes to an hour it’s a sitting extremely close to the skin scent. It was here where I realized that it’s safe to say that almost all English Laundry are weak performers. To my nose I don’t get much of the citrus in the above mentioned, but more so the floral notes immediately. The geranium and rose notes are most prominent, but worry not, the rose notes take a back seat and are nowhere near as noticeable compared to other colognes I own where rose is a note. Some of those colognes the rose note feels like it taped to your body or stuck up your nose, this scent isn’t that. Where this cologne does shine is on a first date or at work. Sometimes a first date and wearing a strong cologne can interfere with your new potential partner because of the strength, and or at work because people are cry babies and are sensitive to scents. This stuff shouldn’t offend, and you’d have to get in close to smell it. I now see English Laundry for what they are now. Weaker Eau de colognes that are non intrusive to others while wearing it in a public setting. I wished they’d just stop being deceitful in their boxes, because if this stuff is an EDP then I’m Aquaman during the summer and Santa Clause during the winter. A+ for bottle presentation though, if you’re into that sort of thing. Spray is a mist, so youneed to go heavy. Shoppers Drug Mart is selling these for $19.99, do not pay more than that.

I'm a female still seeking anything with the same notes as Dior Midnight Poison as an inexpensive dupe. Maybe the gents have a secret fragrance weapon? This one had the requisite checklist of notes and sadly, eau de parfum advertised should be relabeled as a cologne or splash. Soooo weak and zero patchouli or rose detected. All I get is citrus with a hint of musk. I will give it points for its Dior's - Eau Sauvage original fragrance vibe, more citrusy and green, a nice summer cologne for the guys. Amp up the rose, to a dark rich rose and patchouli and dial down the citrus and this could have been a fabulous inexpensive men's cologne. The packaging is classy, just wish the juice measured up to the packaging. The packaging feels like clickbait of a what could have been a classier, richer fragrance.

This smells EXACTLY like something I've smelled before, but I can't seem to figure out what it is... The second I smelled it, it was like "Ooo I know this!" and "whatever it is, they absolutely nailed it." Either way, it's 100% a clone of something. Basically a super synthetic powdery lavender heavy on the Amber Xtreme. It's killing me because part of me KNOWS what this damn scent is. Definitely none of the fragrances listed as similar above. The closest I've come is one of the AXE deodorants.

This smelt interesting enough, too rose heavy, but literally lasted less than a minute on my skin. I gave myself 5-6 blasts of it and couldn’t smell a thing by the time I got to the car. Unreal.

Not sure how people are getting anything remotely close to what’s in the “reminds me of” section, but this is more or less just another variation of A&F Fierce.

The adjective for this scent should be CONFUSED. Starts off with a quasi Chanel Ed Blanche vibe but dries down to a dirty mix of mess. Failure.

Got this in a gift set, for being worth $5 its amazing. Gives me a nice 90s vibe.
