Primrose

This is one of my favorite perfumes ever!! I bought this at Marshall’s and as soon as I realized how much I loved this fragrance, I went back and bought a backup bottle. My first bottle is less than half right now. It’s so fresh and so clean, clean! (☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞ This does not come off as soapy or screechy. It turns into a nice sparkling, fluffy cloud of fresh air! This is what I imagine a gorgeous realtor or flight attendant smells like. Beautiful, confident, clean, and classy! Upon first spray you get the orange, bergamot, and the fruitiness of the black currant. I feel the top blends into the middle notes as the base of the blonde woods and vanilla come up. As it dries down the lily of the valley and rose water comes into the fragrance and you are left with such a nice, bright, fresh, aquatic and sparkling aura! ✨ I never thought I would love a fragrance like this so much (coming from a gourmand lover)! This is sweet, airy, and aromatic. The perfect fragrance for summer and spring. Personally, I think this is great for every season and a perfect everyday fragrance. I love to wear it to work as well! As long as I can continue to buy this, it will forever stay in my collection. This lasts up to 5 hours on me before I top up and it leaves a nice scent bubble.

Citrusy floral and sweet. Better than I thought it was gonna be for a rando cheapy! Great everyday scent. Got it to last longer with the Vaseline trick.

Clean, fresh, aquatic! I don't get much of the blackcurrant or bergamot - mostly the lily of the valley. Beautifully airy and fun!

This smells like cucumber melon to me, but...nicer? It is my boyfriend's favorite of my English Laundry coffret, and yes we are millennials lol. I find it to be entirely uninteresting on my skin, but pleasant nonetheless. It reminds me of melon candies. I think I can only detect the black currant and lily of the valley with a subtle greenness. Longevity is low to mid, but I wouldn't expect more from such a cool and light scent. Definitely will be wearing this in the warmer months since my favorite heavy scents smell positively rancid on me in the heat.

This is a young, sweet, fresh fragrance. To me it's like chewing Watermelon bubblegum in the Spring when flowers are beginning to bloom. Is it groundbreaking? No, but it is pretty, fresh and inoffensive. I like it and the bottle is so much prettier than the pictures show.

Clean and almost melony, this reminds me of something you would find at the mall in 2008. It’s round at the edges and aquatic, and HEAVY on the lily of the valley. Pure meh.

They opened up a brand new Marshall’s here. I went opening day to find a lovely assortment of English Laundry scents, including my beloved Oxford Bleu. I’d had a travel bottle and blew through it. I didn’t buy it and kicking myself I went the next day to find NO English Laundry. I was a bit shocked as I never assume others know certain less popular fragrances. In May I was checking out and alas saw my English Laundry on the shelf by checkout in a cluttered mess of consumerism. I grabbed it and went through the pain of it not having a tag. I eagerly yank it out of the bag to see it is PRIMROSE English Laundry. Ugh. Just the sort of fragrance I dislike. Sour, high pitched, depthless. A lot of black currents and no musk. I tried to like it, the bottle is so pretty, but it’s just not for me. The original is a gorgeous 90’s mix of floral gourmand without patch. It reminds me of the discontinued mark Jewel. Caramelly citrus floral yumminess. Btw, I think someone waits for drop off day at Marshall’s to snag all the good stuff as there is only fragrance sprays every time I go.

POOLSIDE BLACK-CURRANT Fruity-Floral. Opens with a sweet burst of fruits featuring black-currant with citrus, fruity, aromatic, fresh & tart tones. That all deepens into the floral heart with white-floral, floral, fresh-spicy, green & aquatic tones. This rests on a fruity-floral support base with fluffy, woody & vanilla hints. Running alongside there is a hint of the pool with calone (common to the poolside fruity-florals of the early 2000s) but it's not as forward as the poolside note in some scents. You've smelt this before, but it's nicely done here. Pull this out for Throwback Thursdays. Enjoy!

This perfume is the closest you're gonna get to a B&BW Gingham perfume. Smells almost identical but this fragrance has more depth (obviously since it has more notes). I love Gingham and when I smelled this I immediately made the connection and had to have it. I'd skip buying a reseller's Gingham perfume and just go straight for this one, the price point is much better.

Smells just like Bath & Body Works Gingham to me. Love it. Light and airy. Sweet and simple and carefree and clean

To me this smells almost identical but not a sharp as Merazur blue prestigious
