Picked up an old bottle of this one and it's great musk carnation with a bit of old school testosterone which I love. You don't smell these types of musks anymore because they're banned — but I seek them out because they're nostalgic and carry a masculinity along with a soft elegance about them. This one has just a bit of skank but not nearly as much as like a vintage kouros, boss one, or koublai kahn. It scratches that animalic itch but not entirely, and performance is fleeting after coming on strong initially. I don't mind refreshing, which is required here. Great vintage musk with that 70s pharmacy vibe.

I used to wear Musk Cologne by English Leather in college and liked it since it wasn’t so trumpet heavy as Jovan or any of the others. Old Spice musk was mellow/okay and hit the right note, but Musk by English Leather was mellow/warm/powdery/sweet and blended well with my chemistry. I got many complements and found a bottle recently of the original MEM formulation in good condition. It holds up well to other frags of today. Make sure to look for the original MEM formulation. Dana ruined the fragrance as usual with all their acquisitions and smells like baby powder and lysterine.

Bought it for an old school fragrance. Very nice smell but it is a one hour at most two hou4 fragrance.this disappointing.
