Cream

Really beautiful gourmand. Citrusy and zesty in the opening (like orange and lemon peel or candied peel), but then magical, buttery quality emerges and stays with you till the end. So comforting, yet fresh, but also creamy and wearable. It breathes with your skin, giving it a sublime, emanating cloud-like olfactory addition, like you don't have to try hard to smell friendly, familiar and bright. Deliciously high-class and well blended. Addictive fragrance, when you need some lift up, brightening your mood or just cozy perfume. Excellent.

Cream opens with a distinctly oily accord — not unpleasant, but unmistakable. It’s citrus oil, to be specific, though my nose registers “oil” first, “citrus” second. This phase lingers on my skin longer than expected, likely due to my particular skin chemistry. Eventually, the heart of the fragrance emerges: a rich, indulgent pastry cream. It doesn’t completely overshadow the citrus; instead, the lemon-orange note remains present, still wrapped in its oily texture rather than becoming a bright or effervescent zest. The result is a warm, gourmand experience that leans into its name without veering into cliché. I’m not complaining — in fact, I find it both unique and oddly addictive. That said, I’m admittedly partial to Cerchi’s offerings and Enrico B.’s creative direction. Cream may not appeal to everyone, but for those drawn to offbeat, creamy citrus compositions, it’s worth exploring.

The opening on this smells like lemon floor cleaner. Don't get me wrong. It smells like it actually has lemon oil in it, but it is unpleasant. Then after a little while, it starts to smell like a lemon cake. The vanilla and sugar notes crash into the lemon. With the mandarin and it is kind of pleasant. That being said, this perfume has no business being named "cream".. Name it lemon pastry cream, or lemon cream or something else. I honestly was so excited for this fragrance because I expected a creamy note. And after applying it twice over a period of a 120 minutes. Alright, waited and it lasted for less than two hours. So the staying power isn't very good. The scent itself is not horrible... But I am definitely going to have to resell this whole bottle that I purchased.
