Pop Heart For Him

"Pop Heart" (I adore the wordplay, so perfect to describe what the Coveri brand represented in the '80s fashion world) was meant to be the great coming back for Coveri fragrances in the selective perfumery world and when it was launched it was briefly given moderately good visibility in fashion magazines and the likes here in Italy. As it comes to the outer look this middle-priced cologne certainly doesnt't pass unnoticed: the bottle is sparkingly amazing. It is so nice and uplifting and above all it embodies so well the spirit and soul of the Coveri maison that this fragrance is worth owning just for it (if you are one of those,like me, for whom a fragrance it's not just the scented liquid but the scented liquid + the bottle + the name + the advertising and the mood and the world it wants to communicate). However I have to say that as a coming back it fails making a really strong impression since as a fragrance it is quite...well..generic. Not really in a bad sense in this case, but it just fails to smell unique. It is fresh, citrusy, ozonic...It is very hard someone would openly dislike it. However it is not one of those fragrance you could die for either. Anyway, since it is fresh, uplifting and not cloying, it can be a good choice for everyday use in spring and summer, perfect for day wear, for young men under 40 and for a casual dressing style (think a Benetton outfit, bright coloured but simple and soft at the same time). However, as I already stated, if you're a perfume bottles collector or you just have a thing for them, "Pop Heart for Him" is really worth buying just for the sake of its great brightly coloured bottle ;)

It's a pleasant fragrance, ideal for summer days ; it starts very citrusy....after few minutes greeny notes come out. A good choice for everyday use.
