Kyara Koko

Kyara Koko is a nice perfume. Opening has a very white, vanilla custard feel to it, very nicely done. This stage doesnt last too long though, and laurel leaf(very gentle and not overpowering) starts poking through the cream, turning this into a green type fragrance, which is both - a semi fresh, piney woodsy style with musk and some sweetness. One could say that this is what Kyara smells like: green, milky, smooth, semi sweet. Underneath it all is Ensars base which runs through EO1, Homeros, Tigerlust and probably others. Perfume has depth, has character, projection is not beast, but longevity is very good. Overall a good release despite the familiar base.

Mmmmm well. Kyara Koko starts lactonic, fruity, with mint and chocolate, passing through licorice, grapes, citrus peel that turn into candied oranges. Fizzy. It has the aroma very similar to the Italian soft drink "Crodino"! Sweet, chocolaty oud, with tons of orange honey. Warm and calm like a sunset. Comfortable indoors, but also explosive outdoors and lower temperatures. The dry is as soft as a large pillow.

I definitely feel the fruitiness, the woodiness and the citrus elements, but I wonder what is behind removing the oud component from this? Especially seeing that it contains oud (Oud Royale) in the mix...for me, this is an oud fragrance by a renown oud-centric brand, it's a confusing move by fragrantica... The spiciness and floral elements are there, but by and large, the oud is the major character here, even though it's likely it's only a minor ingredient. It still comes through for me, loud and clear! That said, not my cup of tea, but still it's good to try these kind of scents out...
