Thai Tabac: Ambra Royale

Raw Tobacco Wild Oud & Royal Ambergris Three elements united as ONE Intense, sharp green opening with a slightly sweet undertone. It’s camphorios with lavender-like aroma. Two minutes in, it starts to cool down & hay becomes much more present & the main leader here with signs of vetiver & hints of slightly sweet & bitter Jupiter berries. Oud is in the background with an ambergris tingle. It’s an intense fougére opening with hints of sweet creaminess in the background. The heart is warm, creamier, sweeter & much more appealing with decorated dry tobacco leaves & leathery tone with soury & a bit sweet toffee-like aroma with salty ambergris & hints of soury honey. It’s less green than the opening but still green. Oud is still in the background with more character than the opening. The profile is a teaser, with sweet green & soury notes & dry warm tobacco with hints of animalic notes from amber & oud The base is warm & deep, can’t say which is more, but it’s definitely heavier on both than the heart & it gets dark with more leather. The mix of Hindi oud with tobacco & the ambergris is well blended; actually, well blended is not enough to describe it, as if they become one element, not three. I’m also getting hints of creamy sandalwood & more animalic notes from the oud. Such an interesting profile with an attractive masculine character, dense but not heavy yet very rich. A master blend from Ensar Oud Performance here is excellent with excellent sillage. It lasted on my skin until the next day. IG @Sir.Fragrances
