James Bond 007 for Women III

This is an excellent perfume for the price. While it is in no way groundbreaking, there is plenty of designer stuff that costs at least twice as much and smells at least twice as generic. This is an easy to wear, sweet, optimistic scent. While there is tropical fruit in the composition, it does not smell like different Escadas, for example, which are tropical but also very tart / juicy. This is a dry, (due to the solar notes, maybe) blended fragrance where I personally cannot identify the notes as distinctively as in, again, an Escada or a L’imperatrice. I could also swear it has some vanilla or some creamy gourmand note which is not listed. Longevity is very honorable and sillage is on the stronger side. It can be worn day or night, as long as the temperatures are not too high. I kind of appreciate this 007 stuff. The number 1 is also very nice and even quite unique.

This one is so pretty. Juicy, and for me purple bottle fits the scent well. If this would be a new Lancome or Tom Ford, everybody would hype for it. Unfortunately the magic flies away too fast and stays only close to skin. Anyway, a cosy, nice fuity and lifting scent. I remember a seethrough small rubberball with glitters from my childhood...had the same smell I adored to sniff it :)

Oh this is so wonderful. The beautiful purple bottle caught my eye in the store and I almost bought it right there and then! I bought the biggest bottle (75 ml) right after smelling it and I'm sure it'll become my signature. Great dupe for Lancome Hypnose!

This is one of my absolute faves! Its magic, sweet, deep, tropical, seductive and fun, BUT IT only last about 5 min on me, and its totally gone! :( Last time i sprayes about 6 sprayes, and 2 on my clothes, but the scent was gone in 5min:(

Such a lovely scent. The tropical notes are very present, but not overwhelming. Hint of sweetness, but sweet isn't the first thought that comes to mind. Easy to wear. Great for the office, or a family gathering.

007 III starts with fresh pineapple. I would also have thought that there is a citrus note. In the heart it becomes creamy, clean and tropical floral, Ylang Ylang and Frangipani are very prominent to me. There is still some fruity pineapple, so this is very summery and fresh. The drydown is warmer, but very light and faint, so the basenotes patchouli, sandalwood and benzoin aren't really discernable, at least not when you spray a normal amount to test. I really wonder who had the idea to put this into a purple bottle. To me, 007 III is a typical warm summer fragrance and would fit a white, yellow or golden bottle. Even an orange or turquoise one would be better. Same goes for the ad, a Bond girl in a bikini would have been the obvious choice for this kind of beachy scent. Anyways, if you like tropical fragrances with juicy fruit and creamy yellow flowers, this is a nice fragrance for a good price.

wow, what a perfect dupe for Hypnose! even better than it because lighter and somehow more modern, not this much heady oin your face but still - undeniable Hypnose dupe, very elegant, adult, classy and for night only now is understandable why the bottle is purple...

Don’t really like the smell, bought it without trying and now it’s a regret. Smell is too weird for me it’s like sweetness mixed with some fruits.

Tropical sweet nothing special

I havent smelled Hypnose EDT, so I cannot tell how it compares. So its opening on my skin is almost like Burberry Brit, the EDT which comes off dry, woody and slightly masculine on me. They are not dupes by any means, but this one has a sweet, almost sour and dry blend of notes just like Brit. Their notes are different, but ylang ylang always smells abit manly on me. The dry, sweet, sour element here is similar to the lime/lemongrass and sugar of the Burberry Brit, the lemongrass smells also slightly masculine on my skin. Pineapple always has a sharpness to it and I get some of that the first 10 mins. At the drydown I get more of the sandalwood and the patchouli. No stale woodiness here that usually accompanies the sandalwood, thank God. The benzoin stays intense throughout with its resin sweetness. I cannot consider this tropical. It doesnt last long and I cant say it has a strong identity, but Im a lover of benzoin and here it is the most potent of all notes imo. Somehow the purple color of the bottle matches the scent and it is definitely sunny. Do you need it? no, I just collect the James Bond bottles. Udate: yeap its drydown is quite like Burberry Brit, just no almond or lime.

I see notes that are listed, but my nose recognize this perfume as dark berry perfume. My first trough was that this perfume is Viva la Juicy Noir cousin. For comparison this perfume is bit more fresher, not so deep and is more modern. Even purple bottle goes with berry theme. It's weird. After about hour this berry feeling steps back and there is some creamy and "warm" quality to it. Probably it's solar and tropical notes. Only later this perfume for me smells more like listed notes. Now this perfume have rather warm and creamy beach vibe and it seems that it even could have been put in to different style bottle. For some reason when I smell this I think about cookies... maybe there is some distant gourmand vibe to it. Overall nothing really surprising or unique. Good for what it is. It's not loud and not too offensive, almost safe gift/blind buy. For younger woman 20 up to maybe 30. It's deeper perfume for evening and night. Summer and spring.
