Cocoa Cashmere

Never did I ever expect the company that I knew for their lip balms to make such delicious body sprays!! I am big on marshmallow scents and typically very picky with them - I feel as if many “marshmallow” fragrances either lean too fruity with random berry or even tropical accords thrown into the mix to enhance the sweetness, or are just a very powdery vanilla passed off as a marshmallow - but this is photorealistic perfection :)) it genuinely smells like a warm mug full of Swiss Miss hot cocoa filled with soft, fluffy, melty marshmallows. It’s quite literally intoxicating, and doesn’t carry the obnoxious sour creamish note that Vanilla Cashmere does (sorry to its cult following). I simply wish it lasted longer, however it is a body spray so can’t expect too much, and I will be repurchasing so long as it is on the shelves!!

Okay, wooow, this smells like identical to Choco Musk. It's just wayyy spicier & kind of toasty, while Choco Musk is sweeter and more vanilla-marshmallow forward to me. I didn't expect much from this because I've tried other EOS mists, and they were pretty meh. However, the scent is really, really goooood. The only downside is it doesn't last as long, but I still adore this and will use the whole bottle for winter. Why do brands always discontinue their best scents??! The best way I can describe it is that it smells like toasty marshmallows to me that were dipped in cinnamon and chocolate if that makes sense. Shoutout to the girl who gave this to me for 3 bucks so I didn't have to purchase this from an overpriced reseller

I don't like vanilla Cashmere but I love this. This smells airy and sweet. Spraying them side by side it smells like Tihota. This feels like an ode to vanilla balanced with musk and aroma chemicals to give lift to the fragrance. I don't smell marshmallow or chocolate. I need a Cocoa Cashmere body oil and body scrub, I just want more of this scent in my life. I would say it smells closer to the choco musk oil since the oil in the air smells like vanilla extract but not the spray. The choco musk spray smells more like Vanilla Cashmere, they both have this unrefined candied frosting smell that is common in affordable vanillas - they have a heavy slightly sticky texture.

I adore this fragrance. Simple, yet so delectable. I get compliments from my boyfriend anytime I wear this. It's admittedly quite sweet, but I don't find it cloying. This fragrance is perfect for fall or winter when you want to get in the festive mood. The body mist itself doesn't have the best staying power, but the lotion absolutely does. When I apply the lotion, the smell lasts on my clothes all day. Paired together, the body mist and lotion make the perfect duo. This also layers very well with vanilla and gourmand fragrances.

Why in the heck is EOS so good at gourmonds?! Well, I'm a long, long time fan of their lip balms (when they only had Sweet Mint, Summer Fruit, Vanilla Bean and Strawberry Sorbet in spheres back in the 20-teens when we all assumed it was just a novelty that would die off in a year....yeah...the OG stuff). I've used their shaving creams. The hand creams (back when they came in "pebble" bottles). The lotion. And now there are sprays. I'm not at all sponsored (I freaking wish...haha!), I'm just chuffed to see the trajectory EOS has taken, and I'm relieved to see the same quality within their sprays. There's even a trademark soft, creamy, nearly waxy sensation in their mists that exists within their other products. If you're familiar with it all, you'll know what I mean. It's like observing your favorite obscure band rise to the mainstream, and actually deserving it. Because EOS actually makes affordable, delicious smelling stuff that *works*, I've been into them from the jump. And no, none of their scents are complex or perfumey, they're simple, but they're truly delicious. I chose to gush a little in this review specifically, because it's my least favorite of them all 😂 BUT...I still really like it. It's not enough of a departure from Vanilla Cashmere to get me particularly interested in snagging a bottle. It has a gentle chocolate accord, but I actually still smell mostly vanilla within this. It's 80% Vanilla Cashmere. So, if you love the marshmallowy, velvety vanilla in V.C, you'll like this too. However, for me V.C is turned up more to max softness, and I would rather just wear it. If I'm feeling chocolatey, I think Choco Musk from Al-Rehab is still my favorite option. But, if you're specifically looking for a subtle chocolate (not like getting smacked by a chocolate bar, like Choco Musk does) alongside a heap of vanilla, this is the fragrance for you 😊

Smells good, but it does NOT last. So weak in longevity.

Opens with a very gourmand straightforward chocolate and marshmallow and dries down to 10 years of smoky tonka.
