Smell Like A King (Limited Edition)

Luxurious scent and perfect for the cooler months. Perhaps Summer evenings as well. This thing lasts for days on your clothes. On skin gave me about 10+ Hours. (Stopped checking). Highly recommend getting at least a sample to try out. Definitely FB worthy IMO.

This doesn't appear to be a "Limited Edition" on the EPC website -- but rather part of their regular assortment as of this writing. Maybe it was good / popular enough to get some permanence! Refined, very clean to a thin but opaque reference, nice and masculine. Acquired a 2mL decant and wore twice before judgement. I like fragrances that have a top-end that is bright or even sharp. Maybe sharp like a knife. A knife made out of the usual metals. But Smells Like A King is not such a knife. It is a needle -- one made out of Osmium (the densest of all metals – and expensive) -- thin, conical, and polished, which pricks from the opening to the end of dry-down. Was it summoned via the cedar(s)? Or instantiated via potent peppermint (not listed in ingredients)? Or was it pine needles (speaking of needles) -- genetically improved over a thousand generations to make Laser Chlorophyll? The Osmium polished needle sits there, ready for you to lean in too far, penetrating your skull. Otherwise 7/10. Great name, very good longevity, quite good sillage. Liked very much.

I get a cardamom note somehow. This reminds me of something like bdk Gris Charnel but slightly different in notes. Will get a FB after my GC finishes but what a good scent 8/10!

Sweet, vague, nondescript, perhaps a little tobacco and rum. Suitable for crowded enclosed spaces. I want to like it but I feel like this is incomplete somehow. This fragrance engenders zero emotional response.

i can get behind a boozey perfume but this one is not for me at all. it overwhelmingly smells like cheap clear liquor and anise. this might wear on others better, hopefully
