Dark Dreams

Personally, I love this perfume; my coworkers love it and my parents absolutely hate it. That initial hit of safron and gasoline is a personal match made in heaven. Perhaps it is just my skin chemistry but I don't pick up much of the citrusy notes as is displayed on the notes; if not that then a slight hit of bergamont. Fragrence in general leans towards masculine. I'm about a third through my bottle and have used it daily for the past few months.

As a kid who sniffed way too many permanent markers, this scratches an itch I can't describe but gives me the same feeling.

Like hugging your mom and then going into your dad's greasy workshop. Love it.

Kids who loved the smell of gasoline and lemon pledge this one is for you

I didn’t get the gasoline accord, which initially left me a bit disappointed. To my nose, this feels about 90% similar to Liquid Skin, sharing a very similar cypriol-heavy dry down. Interestingly, the fragrance I ended up buying from the house Lost Chemistry actually has a realistic gasoline nuance coming from its oud note, even though it’s not listed as an accord. This one, however, is less bitter, and the addition of citrus and saffron makes it much more wearable in my opinion. It’s just sweet enough with a pleasant sillage. Despite what some comments suggested, I don’t get any “lemon pledge” or gasoline here—just a really nice, unique Middle Eastern–style take on citrus.

Just like its name suggests; grotesque, dark dreams. All my dreams are dark anyway; there’s never any sun, only endless night. No colors, just damp, unsettling shadows. This fragrance feels exactly like those dreams: eerie and haunting. Saffron, gasoline, and sharp citrus notes; it’s harsh, metallic, and unapologetically edgy. Absolutely no sweetness; only a cold, consuming darkness. It conjures a dystopian world filled with industrial waste and radioactive remnants. Reminds me of the scent of some expensive household chemicals, quite pleasant, but hardly worth the money

Love this scent straight out of the bottle. It hits my nose in a bright, insistent burn of citrus and gasoline that I thoroughly enjoy. Unfortunately the drydown just doesn't work on me. All that citrus disappears in a puff of powdery geranium despite its top note placement, and I'm left with this repellent, vaguely Sweet N' Low haze. The sillage is impressive, the wear time slightly less so but still a serviceable 3 hours. Overall I'm glad I gave it a shot, even if it missed — maybe you'll have better luck than me!

Fruity, sweet glass candy with strong hints of fresh rose and cherries in alcohol. Lively with bergamot, medicinal with mandarin and crystalline sugar. The note of gasolina, geranium and saffron point to a spicy leatherette jacket, but basically I take from this fragrance a strong tropical fruit accent with guava. Much SWEETER and on steroids. Female.

Waking up to a green-toned, fresh spicy morning and showering with gosoline. And making love while taking that shower. That’s what a dark dream must be like..

why the fuck do i smell this as pleasant and mass appealing
