Liquid Skin

I have to admit when I smelled it in the sample set of the house's perfumes, I ranked it somewhere in the middle, didn't love it but didn't hate it. Ozymandias and Another World were top for me. On a test strip the grassiness was very strong. When I tried it on I found the powderyness overwhelmed my nose and almost made me noseblind. My partner liked it and said he'd wear it, thus I wrote this one off for the last 5 months. Well, everything changed. I went out last weekend and decided to test the wear. I had worn an Acqua di Parma scent during the day and way disappointed with the sillage. I was going to a club and wanted something that projected more (as someone who prefers light scents.) Well while I was out, I got a ton of compliments from friends, some of whom asked me for the link to the perfume. And I noticed it sat on my skin and started to become addictive to me; the tobacco, cinnamon and labdanum melding together took on a narcotic quality. Additionally, it's been 3 days and every time I walk past the scarf I was wearing I get a whiff of it. I think this is going to be my signature going out scent from now on. :)

A unique strong scent that has longevity and Sillage nicely . Definitely a winter perfume for formal occasions. I smell iron in a good way. And for some reason it reminds me of Amsterdam nights during winter!! I also smell oud that is not mentioned in the notes. Lastly, this is a good addition for your perfume library. Very artistic and creative perfume

Beautiful fragrance. Reminds me of Corpus Equus if memory serves me well. An animalic leathery fragrance that makes me feel like a young strong deer. It propels fantastically off of my skin like almost radiates off of me. I only have a tester but I WILL be purchasing a full bottle within the next 30 days, inshallah. 10/10

this smells like thé noir's sexy grungy bisexual older sister. reminds me of olivia wilde in the oc. coincidentally i wore thé noir earlier in the day and decided to try this for the first time in the evening

I LOVE IT. I think it’s very elegant, but also somewhat edgy, for me it’s not overwhelming at all. Lasts forever. The design is amazing, reminds me of the Substance movie.

I can still smell this on my tshirt after I washed it. I went to a shoegaze concert on a cold LA night so it fit the mood regardless. It smells like yearning, like wanting to be in two places at once. There is an ethereal, otherworldly quality to this scent that suggests its origin is not in this dimension. Reminds me of first contact in the movie Interstellar. I bet this is what someone who spent time in a tesseract would smell like. Its very unique, probably not what you would call a crowd pleaser.

when you smell it, you might feel something strange; no matter how much you sniff to get the top notes, it's like you're taking a deep breath of an empty, scentless air and layering it up to reach the base notes. i've never encountered this in any perfume before. i'm a bit prejudiced against this brand, and unfortunately, i've seen that my prejudice is justified, beyond this perfume. although it positions itself in an extreme niche market, i think most of its fragrances are good imitations and lack creativity. i wish it were more creative so we could support the brand with joy and pride.

it starts to smell like noir 29 and then it turns oud maracuja.Definitely heavy scent and longevity is nuclear

I usually enjoy earthy fragrances, but the earthiness here leans heavily toward the herbal side; almost evoking a muddy jungle vibe. The labdanum, while prominent, feels overwhelming. It brings that leathery texture, yes, but in such excess that it becomes almost headache-inducing. Like a wild creature marking its territory (not that I’ve ever smelled that, but it’s what the image conjures). Unless labdanum is warmed and refined, it can feel unfinished; and that’s exactly the case here. Tag(s): Labdanum heavy, muddy green, earthy, herbal

This a really cool and unique scent. Usually labdanum and Cypriol is sweetened but here it’s almost completely raw, bitter and aromatic in texture. Drydown is interesting as it almost smells like a lemongrass type of black tea. This gives a really great sillage and makes a really intriguing scent. Update: turned from a like to dislike, I just find it’s becomes too persistent and bitter.

This one has more of a gasoline smell than the one with the actual note. Had to scrub this off, couldn’t eat dinner with it on. My favorites so far have been no taboos and another world.

Addictive. Described to me as the smell of a freshly opened pack of cigarettes... but it’s bolder than that. It has a bitterness from the cypriol oil. It’s POWERFUL (a one-sprayer) and oh so cool. I couldn’t put my finger on what it reminded me of until a friend said it smelled familiar and we realized it’s Thé Noir 29- which I’m not really a fan of due to the sweetness of the fig, but Liquid Skin, missing those notes, really does it for me. It's tougher, and edgier. and The smell of it on my clothes the next day is to die for -- otherworldly is right.

The challenging one. An eerie earthiness, and opposite it, meaningless cinnamon and lots of damp, sooty wood. The closing of the curtain is pure tobacco. It felt like floating in a void, like the smell of nothing and everything. Difficult and thematic. Def collectible..

Labdanum bomb, reminds me of Ozymandiaz by Ephemeral but gentler. The longevity is diabolical I can smell it after 2 days and 2 showers ??? Insane it’s like tattooed into my wrists

Sampled at a store and fell in love. Love the bottle design and the distressed metal caps. Full bottle purchase definitely incoming

First impression: sour, dill-like Australian sandalwood.
