Almanera

this is such a well blended scent that it’s so hard to describe what notes I’m picking up the most. BUTTTT if I was to try and describe it, I’d say imagine the freshest creamiest a slightly sweet glass of milk you can imagine dusted with some of the spices some star anise and cardamom on the top and a pretty little flower on the side of the cup for some garnish. With some coffee beans scattered around the glass. 🥰

Simply lovely. Luxurious in a gentle, almost understate way. People who wear perfume like that are those who feel good in their skin and life. They don’t need to be noticed, while at the same time they are anyway. Discreet. A scent that reminds that real class is not about screaming with your presence :).

Sweet milky resin star anise... Sweet milky resin amber with light star anise, balsam fir, touch of dried fruit, milk, touch of cardamom, & coffee milk. Nice.

As already noticed by the ladies below, the blending is stellar, but it is probably more of a disadvantage for me in this case. Almanera is a bit gourmandish and sweet, although not too sickening for my taste, and it's also flowery. The slightly medicinal note (davana?) paired with a milky-sugary vibe and all the flowers seem to blend into a strangely soapy mixture. Still, this is only me guessing the notes that gave me this vibe, since it's hard to separate them from each other. Thus, the scent resembles rather a fancy body wash or niche perfume inspired fabric softener than an actual perfume. It just pretends to be sophisticated, but to me, it smells nice while lingering, but feels a bit too generic for anyone to keep as a personal perfume they enjoy wearing.

Well blended gourmandish scent with many different notes which is impossible to separate. Coffee and milk are dominant notes and in the opening hint of some herbal fresh nuances from Davana. Despite of quite many notes this scent is linear and there is not any different levels and it doesn’t develop while wearing. This is not exactly my style of scent and it smells a little bit cloying, synthetic and a room scent like. Anyway I have to admit that I don’t like smell of coffee in perfumes (it’s more like latte here though) like the combination of dried fruits (which are not delicious or realistic at all here) with milky touch doesn’t work for me. I love all mentioned base notes but unfortunately there is a lack of quality here and none of them meet my expectations. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful.
