Zafferano Rosa

I'm an Erbario Toscano fan, I have tried pretty much every one of their fragrances and only disliked two or three (i.e. Gocce di resina... 🙄). That said, I got a small 10 ml sample of this back when they still sold them (they don't, anymore 🥺) and wasn't too pleased with it, in the beginning. I wasn't prepared for the Saffron, I think; I thought the Rose would shine at centre stage by herself and be nice and sweet but the spice really turned out to be a bit of a very-present supporting actor, salty and kinda sharp. Now that I've had time to adjust, I admit this perfume has really grown on me; I actually love it now! It's a strange mix of something very traditional with an unexpected yet simple twist. I use it pretty much in any weather but I'll admit it might be more for Autumn/Spring.

I stumbled upon this fragrance while traveling in Italy and immediately fell in love. I will admit, I am bias toward any rose and oud fragrance, but combined with the saffron, it’s phenomenal! The lasting power on this is truly impressive. Three sprays maximum will easily last you all day. (And that’s coming from a heavy over-sprayer) The sales associate told me the fragrance contains perfume oil for longevity of the scent. I’m not sure if that’s true, but I can smell this fragrance for DAYS on my clothes even after washing! Funny enough, my car has even started catching this scent. This is truly one of my all time favorite fragrances and I am devastated it’s sold out. I will cherish this gorgeous scent until its last drop and pray one day I can find it again.

8.4/10 Incredibly luxurious oud rose scent. This lasts forever, only two sprays because holy hell it projects. Very good special ocasion/cold weather scent.

If you like the scent, it lasts for an eternity and the silliage is ENOURMOUS. One spray is almost too much, like I made the mistake of spraying two times and it was all I could smell for the entire day. Because of this I grew tired of the scent so I haven’t worn it in a while. A very strong scent, personally nothing I would wear everyday. But it smells good, it is not a safe blind buy though
