I enjoy finding decants of discontinued fragrances and trying them out. Oud gardenia starts off with a very woody accord. I would not call it oud. More chippy sandalwood IMO. The saffron appears rather quickly mingling with jasmine and tuberose instead of gardenia. I get rose here as well. This kind of reminds me of other fragrances I've smelled or own. The saffron does give a bit a ping here so it could be better blended. But it isn't to overdone like it can be. There is a bit of pencil shaving choppiness in the blend but not to the point that it isn't enjoyable to wear. There is also a sweet amber accord in this fragrance as well. All and all this is a nice woody spicy jasmine and tuberose and sweet amber with touches of rose. Balsamic dry down. Pretty but my favorite of the 3 I tried was the Velvet Lavender. I would love a FB of that.

This fragrance is a hidden gem! Pity that it’s discontinued! I love this one so much! A delicious white floral with amber nuances and a deep woody base. The gardenia and tuberose shine through nicely!
