Acqua Di Iris

This is super clean, smooth and elegant. The violet leaf keeps it from getting too sweet (like prada l'homme). So I like it more for that reason. The iris, bergamot and labdanum mixes well together. 8-10 hours on my skin, moderate projection. I love it. Enjoy. Edit: just got Ganymede, to my nose, 80% similar. That bitter clean freshness.

What a lovely smell. Bergamot and iris all the way through. Although this smell is most likely linear it's not boring. If you like bergamot and iris this position is a must to try.

My husband sampled this at the airport, it's gorgeous and lasted for 9 hours. No mistaking the earthy iris in this, totally masculine and lovely.

The labdanum dancing with iris make this very masculine and musky leathery scent. Very similar vibe to Canali Style, with fantastic longivity.

Beautiful long-lasting fragrance!!

Clean, fresh, delicate Iris. I love Iris but the problem I have with heavy Iris fragrances is that they can become a bit too sweet and feminine after some time. At first I had settled for Loewe Man, which starts off lovely but after some time, just like Dior Homme and Prada L'homme they become a bit too feminine, powdery and sweet. Acqua Di Iris is a lot similar to Escentric 02, minus the Iso e punch and the synthetic gin note. I grew to dislike Escentric after some time due to its overly synthetic flaws, but this beauty will gladly be a replacement. Many thanks to Cyrus for bringing this one to my attention.

If your a fan of the iris in Dior homme, Prada lhomme etc then I think you should definitely check this one out! My views match CB23's. This is what i was hoping Florentine Iris would be but FI is too piercing and has this shampoo/body wash vibe that I find way too feminine for my tastes. Great upscale/office frag!

If you have ever considered buying a bottle, maybe buy now. They are becoming rare and expensive. It's one that blossoms in autumn and also layers very well with vetiver and woody frags.

Beware the Nutmeg. My first impression of the opening was Dr Pepper!?. Neither fragrantica and basenotes list nutmeg but Zegna's own web site does.

As Dior Homme Eau for Men is to the original iris Dior Homme line, Acqua Di Iris is to the Zegna Iris line. A light, fresh fragrance. Unfortunately it is not nearly as good as the EDT or EDP. The violet puts off a petrol accord to my nose. It's just ok. 6/10

Tried this at Dublin Airport few times, but I thought it’s too expensive. And today I got it in a department store in Belfast for only £25! As a person who love “Dior Homme Eau for Men”, I’m extremely happy to have this. Dior Eau For men and this one might have been discontinued which is so sad but we shouldn’t stick with 1 scent for too long, isn’t it?? There are not many iris fragrance for men, but surely it’ll be out in next few years. Until then, “Dior Eau for men” will be my signature office fragrance and this one will be in the meantime. “Office for Men” by Fragrance one is also great one for the office, and it last whole day like Dior Homme Eau for men but i personally haven’t get much compliments from it, and received some negative comments. It might be I’m working with Japanese colleagues, Japanese are not used to wearing perfume daily bases. However I found out that “Dior Homme Eau for Men” type of perfume gotten me compliments. Acqua di Iris and Dior Homme Eau for men lasts 8-10 hours but not projecting quite well, which I think a good thing. They can smell it when I’m close to them, but it’s bad to announce your fragrance at the office environment. If you like “Dior Homme Eau for Men” or “Prada L’Homme”, you should get this one. Or if you see this cheap price tag, go for it! This is more toward to masculine than both of them in my eyes. Fresh, but a touch of floral, soap touch. So you can wear it both summer and winter. And this one is also perfect for weekend. Might not the best for the date or clubbing. If I only keep 5 Fragrance, this is one of my 5. Acqua di Iris - for the office. Escentric Molecule 01, Escentric Molecule Escentric 02 - molecule 01 for anywhere. Escentric 02 for weekend. Hugo Boss The Scent - The best scent for the winter time (pity that this one doesn’t last for a long time but gotten so many compliment. Absolute last longer but original smells best out of all. Aaron Terence Hughes Neon - very strong and long lasting fragrance. Obviously a great one for getting noticed in bars and clubs. Creed Viking - Whoever say whatever about Aventus is still long lasting and the most versatile one. However, to me, Viking is more toward to the special occasion. Very long lasting. Worth to own it a 50ml bottle. It’ll last for years to come. Worth saving up and invest money for something like this in my opinion. While I’m listening it, I just found out that my fav 5 are not quite expensive ones.

A more watery, albeit woodier version of Florentine Iris. They share some similarities but are different enough to justify owning both in my opinion. This one is fresher, indeed closer smelling to Dior Homme Eau, and the woods are more pronounced. The iris/violet combo is watery and light, powdery but not overly so. If you like Dior Homme Eau, Prada L'Homme, or Florentine Iris, chances are you will enjoy this one as well. Even though it's discontinued, I never understood why this was so hard to find. It appears the distribution was quite limited on these Acqua releases. I enjoy this one very much and it's a great dumb reach in summer. Performance isn't the best unfortunately but the blending makes up for it. 7.5/10

This is a lighter take on the Zegna's private line Florentine Iris (FI). Here we have the same formula of the more expensive but lighter, not as sweet and feminine. This is much more inexpensive but very good quality for entry level designer offering. The scent is a lighter take on FI but more masculine, classy and versatile. I see this as a more wearable FI, and that is a GOOD thing. However, the performance suffers because it is on the average side with 3-4 hours on my skin. It is worth it however because it is cheaper, and the scent smells more expensive. 4/5 stars for me, only knocking down one star for the performance.

The best male Iris for me. Less soapy than Prada L'homme and a bit more masculine (less makeup bag) than the Dior Homme line, whilst retaining the freshness and versatility of Iris. Longevity and projection decent, about 4 hrs projection followed by another 4 as a skin scent. I tend to favour Citrus and Woody fragrances, but this is the one Iris fragrance that I see as a keeper, predominantly as a versatile, subtle, upmarket work scent.......sadly it looks like it's already discontinued as it's not on the Zegna website.

I bought this one 2 weeks ago but am yet to receive it. I'm not sure I will. I might have been framed. Anyway, I'm very curious how and if this relates to Prada Infusion d'Iris Cedre, which is a lovely Summer Iris based fragrance. There are plenty of heavy Iris based Dior Homme Clones, but those are not nice for Summer, unlike the Prada Infusion d'Iris Cedre which performs so much better than Prada L'Homme. Unfortunately never received. Have been refunded though. So I'm not framed only sad.

I find this to be much nicer than Florentine Iris which was too feminine for my taste. Projection and longevity is similar between the two, not terrible nor amazing, around 3-4 hours Definitely a fresher and more unisex leaning slightly to the masculine but easily pulled off by either gender in my opinion. Pretty much the perfect autumn/winter office scent. I could also see someone pairing or layering this with Prada L'Homme

I love this fragrance. I think it is also a safe blind buy, never offensive, but can work as a member of the collection not the sole perfume you have. It smells clean, classy, fresh and mature. Strong but subtle or "smooth". One of the few perfumes that I'll keep purchasing, I think.

The more I use it the more it grows on me. Surprisingly strong performance. Iris, labdanum and musk for me. About 45 minutes after spraying I feel it still is a bit "too much" at times. Will purchase it again :)

Very masculine , but bad blend, something come off to powdery stringent. The lemon or violet leaf throws it off. No thanks
