Essenze Javanese Patchouli Eau de Parfum

wow really nice and balanced patchouli! elegant, natural-smelling and slightly rugged. the opening resembles a tamed version of Tom Ford’s Patchouli Absolut and it dries down to very similar patchouli notes in Diptyque Tempo. Overall a very pleasant and easy scent to pull off! However this doesn’t work well with the chemistry of my skin, it turns sour and vanishes in an hour or so without a chance to even unveil those beautiful middle and base notes. But it’s so amazing when sprayed on clothes and blotters so I guess it’s just my problem 😔

Absolutely mind blowing, this is a beast mode patchouli that’s met with the perfect blend of bergamot and leather to soften the fragrance. It Last long and projects very well on me! Although it smells nothing like Chanel, these notes are blended just as well as bleu de Chanel. Easily one of my favorites as it goes under the radar, not too many people are aware that zegna has this in house.

Wow this is so beautiful. Though quite different to the EDT which is transparent and clean. The initial blast of the EDP is rich, ambery and rounded. It’s an incredible chaperone number. I’m glad to see this back in the range.

I CANT FIND THIS ONE ANYWHERE! I live in Turkiye, nowhere to be found. I went to Dubai 2 weeks ago, nowhere to be found. I recieved this as a tester and fell in love with it. My life goal is to obtain this one right now.

Javanese Patchouli is a woody fragrance with green and earthy undertones. Its aroma is based on the note of patchouli and it smells very good, with very good quality ingredients like the entire Zegna Essenza line. This fragrance, in addition to patchouli, is accompanied by a citrus and green accord that gives it a small dose of brightness, but in general it is a dry, woody, earthy and balsamic aroma. The versatile fragrance is not very versatile, at least in my opinion I see it more for formal use, for office work or for someone with a leadership position, it could also become a signature fragrance, especially for lovers of fragrances of patchouli. Its duration with me was greater than 8 hours. feeling fine the first two hours

Patchouli mix that is kinda different It’s definitely patchouli dominant but with a little twist of different notes The opening was grand with the main note pushing heavily Then slowly the rest of the notes keep creeping in pushing the patchouli until you reach a margin of 60% patch and 40% of the rest Longevity was good so was the projection Sadly it wasn’t enough for me I think my collection contains at least 10% of patchouli fragrances and not any scent can get through to my shelves so easily

While the previous version represented a true, but soft version of patchouli in an exceptionally elegant way, this more intense version is harsh, in your face kind of a scent. I guess that is because of added leather and labdanum. While the previous version embodied the sophistication and understated luxury suitable to wear at any occasions, this one is too bold to represent the polished and urbane style, the Essence collection was well known for.

Heavy-handed patchouli for serious patch lovers. Wet, soily, and difficult to pull off comfortably

Easily one of the most unique & beautiful patchouli scents I’ve ever come across. However..... Why am I having such terrible longevity problems with this scent?!????? Argh!!! I fell madly in love with it in Bloomingdales- finally bought it after 8 months of thinking about it.... Now that I own it- it seems to disappear in an hour. I’ve given it multiple chances over weeks to not keep happening but no- it’s gone in an hour. One of my most disappointing full price purchase errors in years! Update 5/12/22: Still maddeningly zero longevity. What gives?!?!

This is good. It smells like a smoother, and less earthier Patchouli Absolu. The same philosophy is used here which makes this a smoky, leathery, mossy, and woodsy patchouli. Those who missed out on the Tom Ford should give this one a try. Overall, a very classy and wearable Patchouli.

I wanted to buy samples of this and Golden Myrrh, but i think i want to stop buying samples, because of environment. Maybe i will influence someone else to also stop, millions of little plastic bottles thrown away aint worth it.
