Absolutely Me

I've been searching for a sample of Absolutely Me for quite a long time because I like Desire Me very much and I think Incredible Me is very good when you search for a sweet pink fragrance (the lasting power in Incredible Me could be better though) - and I have it. Why have I been searching for the sample? Because I saw raspberry among ingredients and I like raspberry in fragrances, still can't afford to buy Hot Couture by Givenchy or get another sample of it ;) Escada isn't a brand you'd expect depth and so it is in Absolutely Me, but I am not searching for depth in Escadas, I like their warmth, sweetness and positive attitude. I don't particularly like Escada's summer fragrances considering them boring and thin but all the three: Desire Me, Incredible Me and Absolutely Me are really good... maybe Absolutely... is the least multi-layered. Absolutely Me is very sweet - close to being cloying but it manages not to be - thick and creamy. I can detect similarity to Paco Rabanne's Ultrared, the same berry with a hint of mint and the sweet notes in the heart (Paco's marshmallows and rose macaroons in Escada). There's only a bit of rose in Escada, much raspberry, sweets and vanilla. Actually it's only a bit "more layered" than season fragrances but it's thicker and with better sillage, so I consider it better than them. Fragrance: 3,8/5 - has the smallest amount of depth of all the three though (Desire Me, Incredible... and Absolutely). Desire Me is the best imo. Sillage: 4,20/5 Lasting power: 4,5/5 Raspberry is a bit similar to Hot Couture edt. Edition: I'm pleasantly surprised - I like wearing it when I'm in raspberry mood and it wears great :) I like the fragrance very much :)

I wore this in high school, but I've repurchased it recently because I still have an empty bottle of it at my parents's house and every time I am there, I have to smell it. I think on some point, I've decided that Escada has too girly and sweet perfumes for me, because I am not 15 anymore, I am a woman now, and this means I have to stop wearing this. How wrong was I. Absolutely me is something special, I think also for Escada. When you don't see this silly bottle, you don't smell girly cupcakes and a 15 years old longing for a kiss in the orchard. The only thing I can smell here is joy. Juicy freshness, something spontaneous, ready to go to the end of the world, but not in a fictional way. When I am wearing it, I could really do anything, it totally inspires me. And I love the name, because I have this thing with sweet perfumes that they kind of make me lonely and automatically longing for someone to be around. But this one, not at all. It is Absolutely me, it is Aquarian, independent and totally free, I feel good in my skin while wearing it. Although I wouldn't even call it sweet, maybe spring-ish, or even better: perfect autumn. The summer is gone, it is getting calm and cold, but I am here, totally alive and ready for anything. A great one.

This is a strange scent for me. Don't get me wrong, I really like it. It's sweet and very powdery - and appropriate for most things. The strange thing is that the sillage is enormous to me, and it smells very different from afar than if you sniff your skin directly. From afar it's very shampoo-like or beauty parlour like as others have described it, which is really pleasant and subdued. Up close it's sweeter, but sort of layered. I get many different smells in one perfume and they compliment each other perfectly. I own tonnes of perfumes and to me this one is unique. I have nothing quite like it, so I'm thinking this could end up a new favourite. Out of the different Escada perfumes I own, this is my favourite. The staying power is above moderate, and reapplication is hardly necessary. :)

I agree with many of the reviews for this on one hand, but my experience is a little different. To me this scent is very weird in the best way. I don't think this is a "typical" girly scent at all, although I think it can be interpreted as one. I get an opening of fruity nail polish remover or hairspray that morphs into sweet neon raspberries with a very slight Hawthorne funk that makes it smell very alive. It's not heavy or super strong, more of an airy scent. This one for me is otherworldly and little avant garde. It makes me think of alien fruits and it inspires creative thinking. I could see it going well with a pastel goth or other colorful and artistic style of dress. A different interpretation than most, but that's what I get from this and I think it's amazing! Very special.

My newest "baby" and I do love it. It brings night in NYC in mind... or in Paris.. or Tokyo...Or London. It doesnt even matter. Its starry, sexy and ready for adventure. Enjoyment. Experience that fulfills your emotional side completely... When a perfume gets me to say things like that I know its something special. Oh and the name is very Leo (absolutely Me) and Im a Leo so we suit perfectly. If Rihanna ́s Disturbia was played on piano it would be perfect song for this perfume. LOVE it!

I'm lucky to still have this. I never gave it much attention but lately I've been getting to know it all over again. My bottle is almost 10 years old and I absolutely love how strong and at the same time airy this fragrance is. Very feminine, clean and ethereal. I get the resemblance to Gentle Fluidity Gold, I'd say this is the same DNA but frutier. I'll hold on to this for as long as I can 😅

This‘s probably the most feminine perfume Ive ever smelt it’s so feminine but it’s not girly idk how to describe it it’s such a simple delicate pink floral vanilla that has a tiny bit of sweetness but I love it it just smells like an effortlessly pretty girl she’s not even trying to be noticed but you’ll notice her✨💖

This is a very yummy gourmand vanilla based scent. There are several very sweet ripe fruits that are blended well with the sweetness of caramel, marzapan, and the base of a very rich vanilla. If you want to smell good enough to eat, this is the scent for you! Longevity is good, and projection is very good!

At first pschitt, it smells a little bit synthetic. Then...it's so sweet and lovely : I absolutely love it ! Fruity, sweet as a candy, sparkling and joyful, a little bit powdery : all things I love. It reminds me of Ultrared - Paco Rabanne (strawberry and licorice !), that I love. Perfect lasting power.

I love this perfume! It was a gift from my boyfriend. For me to fully take in this scent I had to erase the fruity floral Escada fragrances that they've released. It's light and sweet. It's hard for me to get bored of. This one is the best out of the 3 fragrances.

Currently the closest to what I'm looking for in a signature smell. There is this enveloping warmth to it from the macaron and the fruitiness of the rasperry. It smells sophisticated yet sweet. It's lovely and a shame it's discontinued!

this perfume was one of my top fav, too bad they dont really sell it nowdays as they used to now its very hard to get, and very expensive if you even manage to find one T_T

Escada's absolutely me is completely different with was I expected I imagined it to be a teenagery playful scent,candied sweet raspberry cake,almost gourmand but summery But I find it something similar to guerlain my insolence!sweet?yes,but not that much I expected.macarons?no...just like my insolence which is all about sweet violets to my nose but doesn't have any violet in it's note pyramid,I can detect tones of powdery violets here,sweetened with powdery vanilla with raspberry flavour,there is also a tasty dryness of pink pepper,after a while this powders calm down and we are left with soft vanilla+raspberry+clean,sweet musk..dry down reminds a sweet raspberry cake and has a partial gourmand quality Raspberry powderyness in the opening is a nostalgic scent for me,reminds me my childhood,dolls,scented erasers and I really like it,though I agree it's somehow synthetic(candied raspberry violets seems always synthetic to me) It's wearable all around year and has very good Longevity,something I like to wear when I'm in the mood for it,also dry down is nice and delicious I should confess absolutely me really surprised me,in a good way My insolence is sweeter,more wearable and younger,less powdery version of insolence,I believe escada absolutely me is a sweeter,younger less powdery version of my insolence

I had this perfume when I was teenager and now I buy it again.I love it like past.it's great perfume.some people think it's only good for young girls but I think it's good for all age.at first when you spray it and if you spray a lot it smells like a cheap raspberry spray or a hair spray but then it become nice and I can smell vanilla and almond and a little powdery rose.it's very beautiful and feminine.modern and old at same.mix of delicious cooky and lipstick.I love lipstick smell and escads absolutely me smell like lipstick more than other perfumes that promise this.longevity is very good.I can use it all season and everybody love it and say you smell very feminine. خیلیا میگن که اسکادا ابسلوتلی می برای سن پایینتر مناسبه اما من میگم برای همه سن اوکی.من هم وقتی نوجون بودم داشتم هم الان و خیلی دوست دارمش.اگه زیاد اسپری کنید اولش کمی چیپ بنظر میاد و بوی اسپری تمشک و تافت مو میده اما بعد چند دقیقه عالی میشه.وانیل و بادام و رز بسیار زیبای پودری به مشام میاد.بویی که هم جدید هست هم قدیمی.هم کمی بوی شیرینی و کیک میده هم بوی رژ لب و من عاشق بوی رژ لب هستم برا همین خیلی به اسکادا علاقه مندم و به نظرم بیشتر از هر ادکلن دیگه بوی رژ لب میده.موندگاری خوبی هم داره و هم فصل گرم و هم سرد مناسبه.من هروقت میزنم همه خوششون میاد و میگن بوی زنونه و طنازی داره

What a sweetheart of a fragrance. To me this smells just like those little purple violet flowers. Probably almond and vanilla though. My immediate reaction was how delicate, how tender. This isn't sweet sweet to my nose, more of a general sweet warmth. The accords look right accept I would turn the list upside down. Depending on price quite a good if you want a 'nice, quiet, pretty scent' which isn't a white floral, gormand or fruit. I've just sprayed this on an autumn evening post shower. No comment as to longevity or sillage as yet. EDIT Now I've had this on for an hour maybe, it alike I have in my hands a little cluster of freesia or violets, some delicate fragrant purple bouquet. A quiet scent still but just so .... yes; tender.

I am a lover of sweet fragrances, so I liked it very much! Anyway, I like all the Escads, although to tell you the truth, they do not knock down durability ... But back to "Absolutely Me": The aroma is sweet, but it is not heavy, heavy or intrusive. He is joyful, cheerful and optimistic. It has something in itself that you want to smell it and crunch it like a cookie / candy;) It is not perhaps somehow super-sophisticated, rather unpretentious and simple smell. Actually, it can make associations with bubble gum, maybe some sweets :) I feel the fruit in it - mainly raspberries, plus a note of vanilla, which I like sooooooo much. Durability is OK, the smell does not impose and does not bother you, you can safely use it every day.

I think this scent is very interesting in the aspect that it's powdery sweet yet clean. It's like raspberry and vanilla flavored sparkling water, sweet but refreshing. If you like sweet scents, but are sick of fruity or heavy (amber/patchouli etc) dry-downs, you'll probably like this. It smells expensive in the way a luxurious spa would - a spa that is bathing in bright sunlight, with pastel colored furniture and small fountains with perfectly turquoise, glimmering water. It's a light, sweet and innocent scent, for those who enjoy soothing yet happy fragrances rather than making statements. The lack of fruit in this smell removes that cloying, sickening syrupy factor many perfumes have these days.

I was going to completely give this one up and chalk it off to the "been there - ho hum" basket, when I thought give it another smell..... First, this is an EDP, so the scent definitely lasts longer than many of the EDT's I have.... The first spray releases this beautiful fruity vanilla powdery symphony that I have yet to really experience in the same way as this.... So that was an eye opener. The dry down just embraces my skin with a sweet fruity gourmand that isn't just adolescent, it layers with musky, rosy depth... Very, very happy to have tested this again as it is one of those diamonds in the rough!

This starts with top notes of crystalline fruity rock candy. The heart and base notes are made up of a powdery vanilla (this must be my interpretation of the macaron note, which is not an "edible" scent). It's light and pleasant, but doesn't project at all. I can't smell it unless I put my nose to my wrist, and I sprayed multiple sprays all over. I would even go as far as to say that this would be a nice child's fragrance, as the scent is very light and innocent. The bottle is also gorgeous IRL due to a mother-of-pearl-like iridescent coating.

For days that you don't wish to be taken seriously. Although coffee isn't listed, that's what I'm getting from my bottle, I feel like I'm in Starbucks or Coffee Bean, inhaling a steaming hot cup of vanilla latte with one shot of raspberry syrup. I am assuming the macarons are responsible for the coffee note I'm getting. Thankfully not too cloying but still very much a sweet gourmand. That's all there is, but I wasn't expecting or wanting anything more profound from this. A pretty gift for any girl for those frou-frou days.

I don't know why Escada fragrances get so much hate. I think this is rather lovely. It's not complex, granted. It's a simple raspberry-rose and so, yep, its sweet,...but I don't find it sickly or heavy like many other fruity gourmands. The dry down takes the power out of the raspberry and brings out a lovely, light, almond-rose-macaron and a touch of old fashioned lipstick. I'm currently wearing it on a warm evening and unlike many similar fragrances, this isn't cloying or annoying in the heat, but mild and refreshing.

ACTUAL NOTES: TOP NOTES: rose / raspberry / pink pepper MIDDLE NOTES: jasmine / hawthorn BASE NOTES: vanilla / musk I don't really know what to say about this perfume it's kind of yuck but kind of yumm at the same time.I really like the raspberry and the pink pepper in this but it's something weird in this perfume,I could swear that it's licorice but no,it's not...Anyway,without this weird thing it wouldn't be this perfume so..it's a nice perfume but not in my love list ..who knows maybe it will be.

I don't like Hawthorn, but in this parfum its great! Hawthorn softens the sweet notes and gives it a fresh twist. Great every-day-scent for school or office. I like it but it will not be a favourite of mine. Jag gillar inte Havtorn, men i denna parfymen så är den suverän! Havtornet dämpar de söta doftnoterna och ger en härlig fräsch ton. Suverän som varje-dag-doft för skolan eller kontoret. Jag gillar den men den kommer inte att hamna på favoritlistan.

Pretty scent from Escada. Vanilla is delicate, not overwhelming, same goes for raspberry. I just tried those macaron cookies recently, and I must admit I can sense their delicious scent in this perfume. I can also sense some pink pepper and rose in it. This is the best of Escada's scents I have tried so far. Not overwhelming or too tropical in my opinion. I find it well-composed and enjoyable.

It's cute. Very "sheer" and transparent, you can barely smell it unless you wear a ton. It's also weirdly fresh for such a sweet scent, very clean and warm. I think it's sort of a "safe scent", it's not offensive and most people will like it, but I think it lacks character and persona.

It's okay. Smells sweet and fruity. But it's sort of plain and boring.. "Flat". It's not bad, a great everyday scent. It's not offending or overwhelming. OK staying power, good projection. Casual and simple, but not one of my favorites.

I purchased a full 75ml bottle (unboxed) tester bottle for £45 on eBay. I love this perfume, she’s a fruity gourmand with subtle florals. I would wear this all year round, day or night.

Sweet & candy like, with some interesting, sparkling note. I guess it was made for young girls. Being in my teens, I would surely love it. Now, I don't want to smell like a cake.

What a lovely vanilla fruity scent! I could smell my wrist all day! I get a subtle scent of ink, though.Weird. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Loved this scent! Fruity and long lasting

Absolutely Me Escada- sits close to the skin. It's okay. Based on the notes I thought I would absolutely love this, but it's very faint and a tiny bit sickly sweet, maybe that's the rose macaroon note. A bit too artificial? I wouldn't buy or keep if gifted. Would wear it daytime during the cooler months. A few hours later and it reminds me of the James Bond 700 perfume for women, but without the woodsy note.

Absolutely Me is a fresh, sweet and fruity fragrance. The opening is fruity floral with notes of raspberry and roses, both very artificial, which make it smells like some kind of cheap and reminds me of barbie horses. In the middle are more floral notes than in the opening, but it's still not getting better. The vanilla in the base is nice, but it is whitewashed by the other notes. All in all this one is absolutely awful, I got headache and my nose even hurts when I smell it.

OMG It smells like black licorice; something that I can't stan- yuck I would have never thought that in reading the reviews I bought this on a blind purchase and read the reviews here. I thought I would actually like it but hate it. the bottle is pretty cute tho but kind of looks like an big please booty! It just smells like dry powdery spices and I get none of the fruit I hoped for. Will be returning immediately. Can't stand th.e smell and want to wash it off

I find this one amazingly tacky. Worst of the trio. No character at all. Yes, it's fruity, sweet, warm ... like the thousand others. I think the perfumer was in a big hurry. Excuse me. The Lolita Lempicka thing is true - I think they used my abhorred cherry among the fruits. Anyway, I didn't expect much from Escada. Desire Me was just a flare of a better perfumery.

ew I find it strange that people pay good money for perfumes like this. Smells horrible and cheap. Only begins to be bearable long after the drydown. And then it then smells chemically and odd, synthetic blackberry and depilatory cream or fake tanning lotion perhaps. Quite sharp and unfriendly.

There is NOTHING of these notes in this perfume. It smells like a slighty spicy bar of soap. I was so excited (big fan of escada perfumes, they're usually so pleasant and fruity) but unfortunately I dislike it a lot. Hoping someone from my family enjoys it - I need to stop blind buying.

They say it's not as sweet as other contemporary feminine fragrances... But then, the spiciness comes just as an upper layer as if to hide away the underlying generic sweetness. It reminds me of a bit of walnut ice cream. Not actually unpleasant, but not a good perfume. **

The raspberry scent smells so synthetic in this fragrance. Reminds me of raspberry flavoured expectorants which i had to take in my childhood. I wanted to love this fragrance but it makes me sick and gives me headache. The longevity is quite good though.

For me is nauseous .Too sweet at the beginning and even sweeter after it settles. It was a blind buy so i'm stuck with it.I can wear it only for short periods of time(1 h or less) cause it gives me headache .I don't hate it, but it's just not for me.

Smells like cherry liqueur, or maraschino cherry at first. After that it smells like doll hair, I think that's the childhood reminiscence some of you sensed... very, very sweeet and a little cheap.

this smells disgusting. even though most perfumes from escada smell kinda the same to me, being all sweet and fruity. THIS one here is an exception. it smells like plastic to me.

I get violet from it but its not in the notes? I dont think its sweet or to cloying. I mabye has a weak nose,casue i dont think it smells strong at all.
