Agua del Sol

11 november 2015 YESYESYESYES!!!! It has finally arrived and im doing the wrist test now! It is absilutly fabulous!!!! One of the best Escadas in several years, i would call it advanced version of "Turquoise summer", this one will be a smash hit for sure!! So girly, so yummy, fruity, summery, lush and smoooth. I own a lot if perfumes and normally i choose potent vintages, but hey, we all want to feel carefree sometimes and this fragrance is just perfect!!! Opens up as a yummy sorbet with fruit jelly, so soft and velvety. I love the feeling of smooth sorbet note, its so comforting. Later it becomes more typucsl bubble gum fruty Escada base but in general that smoothnes is still here. It reminds me of a DKNY limited sorbet edition, however Escada has that liquid rubbery feeling which DKNY does not give me. Its like eating an ice cream on a warm day. Lovers of niche and clasdic vintages will probably never like it, but i know that my mom, who is in her late 50s will love it. And i will love it myself as well! Its really good and uplifting!! Im getting a bottle!!

Ahh I'm in love with this one, Escada really did it with this one. When I first went to the store to smell it I immediately thought 'I have to buy this'. And so I did and I love it so much, this scent really makes me feel happy and it's the perfect summer scent. I think of hot summerdays, fruity drinks and just happiness. It's so fruity and fresh. I was also really surprised by the longevity of this, I thought I would have to spray it on really often (and I was OK with that because I love the scent so much). But when I spray it on during the day, I can still sense it on my skin the morning after, happily surprised by that. I recommend it to anyone who loves fruity scents and want the perfect one for summer. This one and Escada Magnetism tops my list of my favourite Escada fragrances.

Smells delicious, like fresh pineapple juice, freshly squeezed, with pulp, and tropical fruit salad. It is pretty much in the lines of what Escada does best. Unfortunately the lasting power is next to zero, and silage is just about as good as a high quality body mist. I remember when I bought my first Escada, it was more that 10 years ago. The same deliciousness, but that lasted well and was worth every penny. From the newer ones I also have Carioca, which is another yummy one with the same terrible performance. It's a pity. Definitely not worth the full retail price, but if you find it discounted, then it's all good.

Mixed feelings about this. Yes it is sweet and tropical and fruity like all other Escadas from the bunch but definetely more mature. Feels like a grown-up perfume and I usually don't do grown-up scents. I can totally imagine Samantha from Sex and the City (the 40 year old Samantha) wearing this. It is still playful and vibrant but not genuinely youthful (which isn't necessarily bad). Sillage is insane (very very strong) and longevity seems to be good. Definetely want to purchase but it is not my typical scent - I am more of a Turquoise Summer kinda girl.

Sprayed this on me in shoppers today but i was already wearing that contoire vanille banana so this may be why i got a sort of pineappley bananaish (must be from what i had on already) but to me its very tropical yes in a sorbet sort of way its very refreshing sweet but not too sweet. Totally makes me picture like on a beautiful island with crystal blue waters drinking fruity cocktails ahhh its pure deliciousness

Aqua Del Sol is pineapple and raspberry sorbet. A perfect tart, tropical cocktail for summer. I can't get enough of it, and when I'm not wearing it, I'm thinking about wearing it, lol! The best Eacada I've tried since the original 2004 Island Kiss, which I still have 1/4 of left and it still smells amazing. Not really much more to add. Longevity is better on clothes and projection is medium. Yummy!

It smells very Escada. Yes, it is sweet but it so joyful. I feel very self indulgent. It makes me immediately think of tropical fruit cocktails and Italian tutti fruiti ice cream. It's fresh and bright so not heavy on the sugar. I like the slightly sour aspect as it keeps it lively. I'm no girl but I'm going to enjoy wearing this on casual summer evenings. Moderate sillage but great longevity.

I usually don't like overly sweet fruity notes but the cold fresh sorbet and fizzly spicy pink pepper and rose and the base notes make this enjoyable for me. I can smell the sea in those escada perfume.. the Saltyness or fizzyness is usually because of green notes but in this one it is the pink pepper it seems This is like eating ice cream on the beach

Love this one and DKNY's Dreamsicle too. Escada Agua del Sol has a lot of juicy fruits, it's like a sweet, fruity, sun&fun summer cocktail. DKNY Dreamsicle is more powdery and simple. But it's still like a peach ice-cream to me. Maybe with a little yogurt in it. But it's just peaches and cream. Escada is more complex, more fun, but not too childish.

Sweet and fruity - loveable :) but (there's, almost, always a But) there's something about most of Escada's perfumes that smells a little cheap/synthetic which makes them very similar to cheaper, "drugstore", fragrances... But, if you've enjoyed previous fruity and sweet perfumes from Escada; you'll definately like or love this one :)

I don't know why I thought this was going to be an aquatic - I guess because of the word "Agua"? In any case, it's not - it's one of their sweetest,freshest and citrusy juices. The description is pretty on, there's lots of mandarin fruit (not just the peel). My favorite of theirs is Taj Sunset, and it looks like I have another love.

This scent introduced me to escada, tried it in debenhams and fell in love! I spontaneously spent £45 on 100 ml and sprayed the tester all over me, woke up the next morning and could still smell so very long lasting. Since this I have bought cherry in the air and turquoise summer, also both great but this one is my favourite.

I think I'm in love with this fragrance. The first spray hit me like a ton of ripe mangoes with other tropical fruits. It's very very tropical, fruity and fun. The scent makes me think of having a cocktail party on the beach when the sun is going down. It doesn't smell elegant or complicated to me but more simple and fun.

I LOVE this scent so so much I’m on my 3rd bottle! I just ordered a new bottle from Mercari and ughhh it’s so nice to have it back! It’s the only fragrance I can recall ever buying more than once. It’s a super sweet summer scent leaning on the Juvenille side but it’s what I like so I don’t mind that at all!

Love this oh my goodness. Perfect summer scent. Insanely fruity and yummy and edible. I get mango, pineapple, raspberry, lime all of the fruits basically and it smells so fresh and delicious. The ice cream note makes its a bit creamy which is wonderful. Lasting power is not bad either. Such a happy scent.

These escada summer editions, I fell in love smelling them on girls when I was young, and to this day it hasn't change. In the mean time they released not so good "flankers" but this one is back on track and the same feeling I got when I was young. A very girly type of fragrance and I love it!

This smells amazing...really fruity and sweet... when it actually stays. It does not last at all! Some of my bath and body works body mists have longer staying power than this, which is bummer because I really love the scent. Perfect fun, carefree summer scent.

I've been waiting for something like this for years - and here it comes! An amazing fruity combo that gives me comfort in these cold days and would also be perfect for summertime! A great replacement for my beloved Pacific Paradise, only even more elaborate!:D

I tested this out 2 weeks ago while at Kohl's and knew a bottle would be mine!!! Got my bottle today!! I love it & how it smells like a yummy tropical bowl of fruity goodness!!!!! Perfect for spring & summer!!! Sillage & longevity are both moderate on me.

A very young, sweet scent! The sorbet note is there, giving it a nice fresh quality. Overall very fun and fruity with a super cool apricot note. The perfect beach wear. I love the fruity-ness of the opening, even if it is a bit synthetic. What a party!

A splash in a multivitamin fruit juice! Intensive fruity notes to the extreme, as often in Escada fragrances, but this one is highlighted with the sweet tonka been and the balmy sandalwood base. A joyful and luscious scent !

This is a pretty nice scent, perfect for summer in my opinion. It smells a little sweet with a sour sorbet undertone. You can also smell the fruits with a hint of slight musk. Doesn’t smell like anything in my collection.

This is a pure soothing balm for the soul, I love it, even in the cold crisp air of winter in North Norway! Now that I think about it, it works well as a winter fragrance because it's there to give you some warmth.

I like all the escada perfumes! This is a fruity scent that makes me miss summer I need many sprays at once, but sadly it doesn’t last that long even if I spray on me and my clothes..

Tested this in Debenhams yesterday & fell in love. Super fruity, sweet and sparkly. The epitome of 'summer in a bottle'. But I shall be wearing it in the UK's muggy winter.

OMG - This is not a complex fragrance. i have a ton of those. BUT i love this sweet fruity fun fragrance! I have a lot of much more expensive perfumes but I love this one!

Absolutely love this...this smells like a tropical fruit smoothie to me. This might be my favorite of the escada line (that I've smelled).

I just bought my first bottle, it smells like gummy bears!! I love it!:-) This will not be my last bottle, that's for sure.

Summery, happy and delicious. Hooo boy, this one is a wrist sniffer. I smell apricot sorbet, citrusy notes with a hint of cream and oodles of pineapple. It's loud, playful and perfect for Summer. You guys know the drill. If you like Escada perfumes, you'll know that this one is scrumptious and easy to like. Most of them smell like some sort of fruity cocktail, and this one is no different. I actually bought this for a friend for her birthday but couldn't resist having a sniff myself. (What? Don't look at me like that - I always have to smell perfumes I give as a gift to make sure they're nice... 😏) & I know she'll love this. It's vibrant and vivacious, just like her. Would I buy a bottle for myself? Probably not, but I'd be more than happy to be gifted this from someone. I think personally I prefer Flor Del Sol (That grenadine note is so nice!) and I'm looking to try Miami Blossom next. (I was meant to be heading to Miami this year, waa!!!) That doesn't mean I don't like Agua Del Sol. I do! It's a feel-good perfume. It's on my wrist now and it just makes me think of California girls... "Daisy dukes, bikinis on top... Sun-kissed skin, so hot, we'll melt your popsicle..." ♫

My husband bought this for me a few years ago, but I only wore it occasionally, because it was a limited edition and I wanted to make it last. I was so happy to find it at my local Marshalls yesterday, and scooped it up right away. The hubby is a great fan of citrus - his fave scent to wear is Monsieur Balmain - so I knew that ADS would feature a lot of citris. I love it - it's sweet and fruity, but the citrus notes tone down the sweetness a bit. One reviewer here says it doesn't last very long, but that hasn't been my experience. Oh, and am I the only one who smells passionfruit or passionflower in this fragrance?

Yummy! This is delicious! Escada did it right this year. I did not liked last year ́s perfume, "Turquoise Summer", for me it was too sweet and synthetic but this one is just right. Someone said it smells like gummy bears and i can totally agree, but it also smells like a cocktail or a very good fruit salad or, more precisely a tropical fruit ice cream ( that ́s what they were going for, and they totally succeeded). I don ́t get much rose or pink pepper or the citrusy notes, it is mostly just the tropical ice cream and i am ok with that. Longevity could be better,though. Overall, thumbs up for this one!

i love the smell so much but it has zero longevity!! it's disappointing because i do love the scent! perfect for hot weather, smells exactly as the notes suggest: very fruity with a sorbet note to it. i have 2 escada perfumes so far and i think i would purchase more just because i do love me some super sweet fruit bombs so escada is really right up my alley but this one honestly stayed on me for just a few minutes while the other one i have, miami blossom, stayed for longer i mean, most days i dont really have time to reapply so that's really a bummer.

This is a sweet fruit bomb. Mostly I can smell fruity notes like apricot and raspberry. It's sweet as a tropical juice. It seems to me, that there's some chocolate note present, in the base notes. It's not listed here, I might be wrong. I sense something dark and a little bitter a few hours after spraying. It's one of those perfumes, I think people will like very much. I'm just not sure about the base notes. I don't think it's my favorite one from the Escada's summer line, but it's good. Moon Sparkle was better though. Like!

Lemonade! This is the first word that pops up in my mind. When I pay more attention I can smell sweet, wet icecream. This perfume would easily win the hearts of kids and tweens. There are some deeper notes like tonka, sandalwood and white musk but they're far in the background. They become more noticable after a few hours when the wetness is gone. The sweet notes turned syrupy by that time. Think of chewy gummy candies. This is not a sophisticated perfume by any means but it's very enjoyable. I'm an adult and I like it!

I really like this. Raspberry sorbet bottled. I sprayed one time on the top of each hand, and it lasted for hours as well as having very good projection. I do like trying perfumes marketed towards women, and I find some to be unisex or even masculine. This however is quite feminine, and so I gave it to a woman at work. She absolutely loved it, and it almost seems like I found her new favourite scent. Be sure to try it if you like fruity fragrances without being overly sweet.

YES!Escada did it again I think. When today I put this beauty on my wirst I was like YES !THIS IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I was sooo happy,finally the perfect fruity summer scent,finally another Escada which I want. For me this is like mango and peach sorbet and soooo yummi.Absolutely love this.Soooo fresh and fruity and sweet.It ́s something fabolous.Ooooh and the longevity on me was pretty good,and the bottle is beautiful. I love this,thank you Escada.Loooooooove iiit.

I kind of surprised myself by instantly falling for this fragrance at first sniff since it really lives up to the name. What a yummy, juicy, well-balanced and joyful scent without any synthetic and sickeningly sweet notes that (unfortunately) have sneaked into Escada's summer frags in the past years... Haven't liked any of them since 2007's Moon Sparkle, to be honest. This sunny 'n sweet juice suits women of all ages, not just the young ones, I must reckon.

A positive summer scent that I liked from the first spray. Sweetness of ice cream and sorbet covered by citruses and pepper. Sillage and longevity is moderate, but two-three sprays will be enough. Agua Del Sol reminds me of Fiesta Carioca released one year later. Though all Escada limited editions are similar to each other. And this scent is suitable for any ages. It brings summer mood. Discontinued, but I would like to buy it again.

I bought it because the first time I tried it in a perfume shop I really really liked it. It's not bad, but I can't wear it anymore as it's too intense and it gives me a suffocating feeling. It has a strong smell of peach (even if peach is not present among the notes...maybe it's the mix of fruity notes) that almost bothers me, so I tend to spray it in my bedroom as room fragrance to leave a nice smell, not too bothering as on skin.

I live in a very humid region. Fall and winter sometimes feels like summer one day, then frigid cold the next day. It's crazy weather. So on warmer days 78°F-80°F in the middle of November and December, this is a fun go to perk me up kind of scent during which winter blues tend to linger. Though it isn't a beast scent, it's pretty, feminine, fruity, and floral. Light enough for humid climates and beach going days.

This was a blindbuy from Marshall's, and my first of the Escada Summer series. This is a fruity body spray type of fragrance---easy to douse on but doesn't last long. I can't distinguish any particular fruits, it's just super fruity. In the dry down I get a fruity sandalwood musk. It's nice and I don't regret the purchase, however I would never pay full price for one of the Summer editions.

Interestingly, this is my ONLY fragrance that has gotten compliments! (Finns hardly ever compliment each others' fragrances, not to mention wear any :---D) It's not my favorite fragrance but good for those days when you want something easy to wear. More refreshing and less sticky than the previous Escada summer editions but still very fruity.

A fruit cocktail in a bottle, Escada never disappoint when it comes to Summer fragrances, and this is no exception, if this was a colour it would be pink, bursting with tropical fruits and red berries. The initial burst is gorgeous, you want to drink it. Summer in a bottle, with good sillage and longevity, grab one before they disappear.

A sweet mix of cool, raspberry sorbet and creamy ice cream! Yum! It doesn't last long on skin but it is delicious while it does. Lasts about 7 or 8 hours on fabric with soft sillage. I can't see myself buying a full bottle unless it goes on sale but I'll enjoy my sample while it lasts. What a wonderful treat for a hot summer day!

I don't smell ice cream at all. And that's actually the only reason I bought this, hoping for more ice cream note. However, all I smell is fruit/sour. This smells like every other Escada scent! Disappointed...not sure if to keep. I don't dislike it either, but I'm not impressed. No sorbet or ice cream.

A blender full of fruit--nice that the floral elements take a back seat, for a change. Nothing heady in this one, just fruity delight across the spectrum. I like this offering so much more than last year's annual scent, Turquoise Summer, and will be incorporating into my seasonal roster.
