Bali Paradise

Escada Bali Paradise truly took me back to being 17. It has this beautiful nostalgic vibe that reminds me of the Escada fragrances from around 2007 and 2008. It really captures that same light, joyful, summery DNA. At first spray, I get a juicy burst of sweet melon, then it softens into a gentle mango, and interestingly I even catch a fresh, slightly watery cucumber note. It feels like the scent actually unfolds on the skin, which makes it even more enjoyable. Overall, it is very pleasant, light, and effortless to wear. The kind of fragrance that simply makes you feel good. I was genuinely surprised by how much I love it. If you enjoy classic Escada scents or the fruity releases from that era, I highly recommend trying this. Definitely a safe blind buy.

I am very sceptic to either pithaya or strelizia having much scent. That said, i LOVE this one. It is a rather non-sweet fruity scent. If the fruitiness is tropical? I feel it is rather close to both Cape Gooseberry (Physalis) and Sea buckthorn, with contributions from what appears as in equal parts mandarin peel, watermelon bubble gum and tart, dried mango. Thanks to the mandarin peel effect, this goes in my christmas holiday rotation. Otherwise, this is what a very impressive boss lady would wear to an evening out in summertime. But, it feels just right for a barefoot + fluttery dress summer dream as well. Best Escada ever?

Es una fragancia súper juvenil. Aunque varian las notas, me recuerda mucho a la dulzura y lo frutal/tropical de Champagne Toast. Me ha durado en piel cerca de unas 4 horas, con una proyección corta. Pero el delicioso aroma lo vale, detecto un poco de mango a su salida, sandía y una fruta ligeramente acida, como naranja (mi percepción). Luego te quedas con el olor dulce a caramelo de frutas (un mix de fresas + frutas tropicales, mango nuevamente, muy azucarado), no le siento la madera de sándalo para nada. Es ideal para jóvenes y a quien guste de aromas dulces afrutados.

I took this scent with me on a recent trip to Bali (it would’ve been silly not to), and it’s exactly what you want from a tropical summer fragrance. It’s fun, fruity and has a light, breezy feel that works beautifully in the humidity. Think of it as a tropical cocktail in perfume form - playful and uplifting. If it had notes of frangipani and a hint of incense, it would be the perfect Bali scent. Still, it captures the holiday mood brilliantly and makes me feel happy when I wear it.

GORGEOUS! Another wonderful fruity ambrosia from Escada. Juicy and sweet in the best way possible. (my fave LE Escadas are Taj Sunset and Agua del Sol, this is more similar vibe to Sunset). no green notes, thank the universe. They are back in the game with this one and the more recent blue bottle. For a while they lost a plot for me, cause Maiami blossom (and some others in that time) was way too flowery leaning and turned a bit bitter on me as some florals can get.
