Bali Paradise

Escada Bali Paradise truly took me back to being 17. It has this beautiful nostalgic vibe that reminds me of the Escada fragrances from around 2007 and 2008. It really captures that same light, joyful, summery DNA. At first spray, I get a juicy burst of sweet melon, then it softens into a gentle mango, and interestingly I even catch a fresh, slightly watery cucumber note. It feels like the scent actually unfolds on the skin, which makes it even more enjoyable. Overall, it is very pleasant, light, and effortless to wear. The kind of fragrance that simply makes you feel good. I was genuinely surprised by how much I love it. If you enjoy classic Escada scents or the fruity releases from that era, I highly recommend trying this. Definitely a safe blind buy.

I am very sceptic to either pithaya or strelizia having much scent. That said, i LOVE this one. It is a rather non-sweet fruity scent. If the fruitiness is tropical? I feel it is rather close to both Cape Gooseberry (Physalis) and Sea buckthorn, with contributions from what appears as in equal parts mandarin peel, watermelon bubble gum and tart, dried mango. Thanks to the mandarin peel effect, this goes in my christmas holiday rotation. Otherwise, this is what a very impressive boss lady would wear to an evening out in summertime. But, it feels just right for a barefoot + fluttery dress summer dream as well. Best Escada ever?

Es una fragancia súper juvenil. Aunque varian las notas, me recuerda mucho a la dulzura y lo frutal/tropical de Champagne Toast. Me ha durado en piel cerca de unas 4 horas, con una proyección corta. Pero el delicioso aroma lo vale, detecto un poco de mango a su salida, sandía y una fruta ligeramente acida, como naranja (mi percepción). Luego te quedas con el olor dulce a caramelo de frutas (un mix de fresas + frutas tropicales, mango nuevamente, muy azucarado), no le siento la madera de sándalo para nada. Es ideal para jóvenes y a quien guste de aromas dulces afrutados.

I took this scent with me on a recent trip to Bali (it would’ve been silly not to), and it’s exactly what you want from a tropical summer fragrance. It’s fun, fruity and has a light, breezy feel that works beautifully in the humidity. Think of it as a tropical cocktail in perfume form - playful and uplifting. If it had notes of frangipani and a hint of incense, it would be the perfect Bali scent. Still, it captures the holiday mood brilliantly and makes me feel happy when I wear it.

GORGEOUS! Another wonderful fruity ambrosia from Escada. Juicy and sweet in the best way possible. (my fave LE Escadas are Taj Sunset and Agua del Sol, this is more similar vibe to Sunset). no green notes, thank the universe. They are back in the game with this one and the more recent blue bottle. For a while they lost a plot for me, cause Maiami blossom (and some others in that time) was way too flowery leaning and turned a bit bitter on me as some florals can get.

I love this scent, it smells like watermelon or even cantaloupe but definitely a melon! I love that. 💖 I have almost all the Escada limited editions and this one is now one of my favorites because it's unique with that watermelon scent that I love so much! Definitely a sunny day-type of a fragrance that you can wear to the beach, out of a warm day or to a daytime event during the summer or late spring.

DD picked up a bottle of this at a duty free somewhere in northern Europe. It smells really nice! It's tart, fresh, juicy, and a tiny bit powdery, A bit heavier than some of Escada's other offerings in this line. Don't know about longevity yet. Will update...

So yummy. It’s a warm, fruity, and a bit spicy underneath. It’s a bit sexy and nostalgic of summer and sun dresses. I would have looked for this to have more sillage, longevity, and projection. It’s one of my favorites of the Escada limited editions.

You could probably have guessed this was an Escada fragrance even if you didn't know. Typically fruity, young, fun and flirty. Edit after first time wear: This is soooo long lasting. I can still smell this after 15 hours! The drydown is delicious.

I purchased a test sample and oh wow!! Super tropical and juicy. I imagine a hot day at the beach, wearing a sexy summer dress and slurping on cocktails Escadas summer fragrances don’t dissapoint

Oh my god. This is the most delicious smelling perfume I've ever smelled! I want to drink it. I agree that it's similar to Flor del Sol but waaaayy better.

Absolutely gorgeous scent with a very warm and soft dry down.

As an old school Escada fan (sexy graffiti & Ibiza hippie were my favourites), I will pick up any new Escada if I find it at a good price point. I was disappointed in my last 2 or 3 ESCADAS. They’re still on my shelf without a dent in them. I was optimistic with this purchase but also realistic that new ESCADAS don’t live up to their ancestors and also that my taste and preference has changed. I really like this perfume, it does have that signature Escada summer smell. It’s a relatively safe blind buy for anyone who loves fruity, tropical summer scents. I don’t pick up anything in particular though, it’s like a mango cocktail if anything. It actually smells a lot like “Pepe jeans cocktail”. I will say that whilst it’s inoffensive it may be too sweet for some and it leans a little sickly for me BUT the good and bad thing is that its longevity is poor. So it doesn’t stick around long enough to become unbearably sickly sweet. It’s kinda generic but you do get that Escada DNA smell which I’ve missed with other newer ones. If you like the classic ESCADAS, I’d say it’s a safe buy but it is pretty generic and is missing the X factor the older ones have.

Having lived in and traveled to Bali several times, I would have expected a fragrance called Bali Paradise to feature some frangipani that is omnipresent on the island. Instead, Bali Paradise smells like a fruit cocktail that could be associated with any tropical destination. When I first tested this fragrance in store, I could have sworn that it contains mango. However, I also realized that other fragrances that supposedly contain strelitzia, such as Nirmala Limited Edition by Molinard, smell like mango to me, so it could be that aroma chemical. Bali Paradise itself smells tropical fruity, slightly sweet and crowd pleasing. Relating it to Bali, it smells like one of those body sprays you can buy in many of the small shops there or like a tropical cocktail at sunset in one of the resorts.

I bought this specifically as a vacation scent, not something I'd necessarily wear day to day. I first need to complain that the 10ml bottle I had came with a ROLLER BALL (not specified anywhere on Notino, where I'd bought it), so it may affect my review. It's a feel-good scent, not complex at all, it really puts me in a good mood when I smell it on myself, because others definitely can't. Either way it was a pleasant surprise. It smells quite synthetic (something that didn't put me off as much as I'd thought), fruity and creamy, yet not coconut-y or cloying. I was really glad because usually coconut notes go 'greasy' on my skin after a bit (I've tested Angel Goddess, Flowerbomb Tiger Lily). I wish I could smell the dry down better though (I don't get sandalwood or green notes at all).

This was a nostalgic blast from my teens and 20s, a very typical and fun Escada scent experience! It smells very fruity and tropical in the first few moments, then softly tropical floral and then she is gone. That was always the case back in the day and they are still super fun and fleeting fragrances to this day. I found a 1oz etd cheap on joma shop that came with a matching scarf for about $24. It's definitely blind buy safe if you've enjoyed other summery Escada fragrances but if you don't want to spend much on a very short-lived scent I would go for the gift sets. I will probably just use this one for on the way to the pool or beach since it only has less than an hour of longevity

Long time Escada lover here. Ordered this recently and it is a nice fragrance for summer. It doesn't compare to the OGs like Ibiza Hippie, Taj Sunset, Sunset Heat, or Rockin Rio, but I like it! This one is very sweet and fruity. Has a nice creamy and tropical vibe to it. Like most Escada fruity perfumes, they don't have the best lasting power, but it is decent. I tend to spray these like 7 or 8 times all over my body and clothes to get it to last longer. If you like fruity scents, give this one a try! You seriously can't beat the price either.

At first I thought it reminded me of Anisha by Elle as in smelling like wild strawberries and slightly aquatic. Then I thought that while it’s in the same cheerful summertime genre as the other two Escadas I’ve got, they are different enough. Then I thought, wait a minute, this is actually close to Flor del Sol, which is also by Nathalie Lorson. Lasted on skin for at least four hours. A fruity delight! Loving the colour.

Very green and aquatic in my opinion. Escada Summer edition indeed, quite fruity and nice in beginning. Mango/peach vibe in opening, then settle very similar to how jungle BS fantasy smell on me. Its quite nice and I will guess fresh and sweet for summer, but too close for the jungle fantasy i own to buy. I do however like it, and for an escada summer release its actually decent in longevity and sillage :)

A blast of gummy candies at first. Tart and smells maybe like a vague mix of artificial mango, nectarine, and watermelon flavoring if I had to guess. It quickly loses the gummy candy scent and turns into a nondescript light floral. It is a pleasant floral scent in the end that feels light and airy enough for summer. I liked it enough to go through my sample but I don't feel the need to buy a bottle.

WOOO! Like a rush of sour candy by the pool when you are eight years old, running around in the sun with your friends. This is juvenile and sparkly and gummy in the most fun and exciting way. Some people don’t want to smell like candy. I am not those people. If you want to smell like a gummy worm dipped in a mango daiquiri, this is for you!

omg this is just tropical scent! very fruity! imagine sweet juicy guava, dragon fruits and these kind of categories, its perfect for summer. It also lasts on me all day (perhaps because I am used to more gourmand rather fruity scents). Dry down is typical vanilla/sandalwood for Escada.

On a paper test, very strongly fruity but I can't pick out which fruit. Maybe watermelon? Maybe mango? I don't know. Tropical vibes, though. Sweet and girly. Most likely won't last long, I find Escada doesn't typically stick around but this is EDT so that tracks.

Very fruity, trupical, melon, strawberry, grape, red berries. Super fun fragrance for the summer. Mood boosting, young, positive. I can absolutely imagine wearing this doing something fun in the summer. It will last forever.

Test sample: to my nose, tropical scents are happy and uplifting to smell, but i don't wear them. so i'm not the right judge on this, the opening smells like bubblegum, but it slowly gets softer and better.

Fruity and tropical but not too sugary. Would love it if it only lasted longer. On my skin it's more almost like a body mist, so I wouldn't shop it full price.

Typical Escada summer perfume, but I haven't liked all of them. This is so much fun, a happy scent. Sweet, fruity..I smell mango, peach...I really like it.

Typical escada summer fruity perfume(they smell almost identical to me,lots of them).Like all the other ones this is very nice too.Nothing new here

05. January 2025 Skin wear test in Nordic cold weather, with snow on the ground. I collect all Escada limited editions, so i had to try this one, as soon as i saw it in store. My honest opinion is that im bit dissapointed withcomposition and performance in general. It starts out quite fruity sweet, but not intense (i read someone wrote that it is heavier, than other summer Escadas, but its absolutely not). Like a smell offruit drink. But them it becomes more green and i could not understand what it it, until i read in a review below that it is that paradise bird plant, which can be tomato leaf green smelling. I did not know that until i read it, but now it makes totally sense. It is on a bitter green edge wuth mix of fruit. There is no futher development in composition, it is as simple as 1-2-3.... quite dissapointing tbh. Sillage is close to skin and lasting power max 3 hours. Some drugstore fragrances are better than this. I will get a smallest bottle of this for my collection, but im not impressed.

had high expectations – I was hoping for something fruity and sweet like Miami Blossom. The name Bali, the paradise vibe, the tropical theme, and the bottle's color initially gave me that impression. Unfortunately, I’m a bit disappointed. The scent reminds me of Turquoise Summer and Island Kiss – similar in style. It’s mildly fruity, but watery and not at all what I was hoping for.

My first Escada and have to say that it's deeply nostalgic. Very much an early 2000's scent. Which, totally fine, but not for me. Tropical, fruity, just a bit aquatic.

The opening of Bali Paradise is tropical and fruity but the dry-down is too powdery.

The opening of this is so delightful! So juicy and tropical, it smells to me of a sort of watermelon candy smell with a faint whisper of zest or citrus but it’s like very super small, middle note is a bit of a strange one, smells unusual I can’t put my finger on it, I don’t think I’m a fan of the middle note, it feels strange like super synthetic unsweet mango or green melon? But if I’m getting a trail of the scent it as a bit of the yummy opening in it which gives it balance, but dry down is so good, got a 100ml at half price so I’ll be pleased either way, so glad I could try escada as I’m hunting for tropical fruity perfumes and iv heard this perfume house does a really good job at them! Saying if this is priced correctly is going to be a bit tricky because obviously if it’s the perfect perfume for someone they’re going to be a little bit willing to spend more on it perhaps, for me I think the price is too much, especially for a EDT!! I never buy EDT because I feel unless they are like, ten quid it’s a waste of money but that also does depend on the perfume house cuz some EDTS stay long, but only some very few. But I payed significantly less for my frag so I’m okay with it. Longevity wise, about 5-6 hours where it was a decently loud frag, on the seventh our you had to be right up against the skin to smell it and it’s comepletly gone overnight however does still have a presence on clothing

This is so awful that I had to write a review. I saw a tester of Bali Paradise and (thankfully) sprayed it into the air and then ran the top of my hand through the air to catch the droplets. Firstly, this is so strong! I can handle most potent scents but this is so offensively stank. If you’ve ever been hugged by someone that you don’t know very well, male or female, and you can smell their cologne or perfume on you for hours afterwards and you don’t like it, this is the punishment you’ll receive with Bali Paradise. It’s comprised of one each: top, middle and bottom notes. That’s it. How can three notes smell so off-putting? It’s beyond me! I feel bad for Escada on this one; thank goodness it’s Limited Edition.

This really is Just Flor De sol Repackaged and reformulated. Instead of a deep strawberry candy smell...like those strawberry Mexican candy that comes wrapped looking like a strawberry, it's a pitahayah smell trying to emulate that same smell. I have both bottles in my hand and it's kinda a let down as I wished it smelled different than flor de sol. If you have neither you're either picking one to smell like a strawberry or one to smell fresh and almost like a strawberry.... they're both fresh and good. Anyone telling you otherwise is probably trying to resell their stock.

Sweet mango and candy, tropical, perfect for summertime. I spray 15+ sprays of this to get a better projection and I layer it with an aquatic scent to get a balanced combo. Escada never fails to encapsulate the scent of summer in a bottle, this perfume is so fun and easy to wear. I usually love very mature heavy scents but I tend to stay away from them during summertime, and this is a great perfume for me when the temperature is higher than 30°C and I need something that won’t give me a headache.

Got this at duty free 🤑 way cheaper to get at duty free than on a rare selling online. I agree with the sellers below on first impression but I’ve only had a spritz on for about 10 minutes. It’s got a bubblegum vibe, a mango vibe etc. it’s not beast mode but I’m happy because in hotter countries I’d rather it be subtle in case I attracts wasps and other little nibblers. This is my personal first Escada in the iconic bottle this is in. Mamas home

Wow, I have high hopes for this one! Simply because I loved the Pitahaya (dragon fruit) note in Black Opium Neon, but that perfume was far too strong for me otherwise. It's surprisingly difficult to find Pitahaya perfumes, so kudos to Escada! Can't wait to test Bali Paradise, and hopefully buy it !! No idea how Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) flower smells though ~ as far as I know, it doesn't have a scent in real life? To be continued...

Mmmm its nice but could have been ALOT nicer! It starts with 🥭 mango notes which I wish were more fruity or tart rather than projecting as an artificial mango nectar (that u find in cheap candies) Escada perfume makers in the last few years seem to be using some sort of an essential oil or an ingredient in their perfumes that always dry down to a nauseating play doh like scent.

Frutal, dulcecito, acido, como una gominola o un granizado de mango. No como esos zumos dulces y espesos, no. Refrescante, incluso un poco acido. Escada no decepciona, simplemente huele a buenos recuerdos de verano. Duracion y estela moderadas. Calidad precio esta bien. Es una compra a ciegas bastante segura si buscas una fragancia veraniega.

I just received this and like it very much. I know it won't really perform at its best until it's 80F+ degrees out, so take my review with a grain of salt: This smells like Sorbetto Rosso and Rockin Rio with a floral background. It's juicy but not overly sweet but less fruit punch-y than the perfumes I mentioned.

Dragon fruit doesn't smell or taste like anything... I've even eating ones in Bali so they aren't any different. And bird of paradise just smells like grass. Sick of these fantasy notes 😂

It starts sweet and generic, like "exotic fruit" bubblegum. Then something green kicks in, and it dries down as a fruity, creamy dessert.
