Cherry in the Air

I fell in love with it the moment i smelt it. I bought the full size bottle and ive nearly finished it.So i quickly bought another one online as its a limited edition.When i first bought the perfume, i didnt quite like it to when i sprayed it in the store but as the days go by i began to love it. I have a very sensitive nose.I cant have anyone around me or myself wear very heavy scented perfumes.I will get a very bad headache to the point where i can pass out.I am not a fan of jasmine but i guess when its infused with other elements and its very subtle but not obvious im alright with it. I usually try and wear perfumes on my clothes as wearing on the skin may have side effects in the long run. Eg,Cancer PROS: -Very light scent -not too sweet -a bit musky -cherry smell i love it -VERY CUTE bottle,sleek, oh you can also wear the decor it comes with as a ring! Its really pretty CONS: -After a few mins i cant smell it, unless i press my nose against my dress or sometimes if i happen to spritz it on my wrist.I also asked my husband if he could smell anything and he said he couldnt unless he came really close to me. - LIMITED -EDT, ive dry skin so it doesnt nearly last at all! but i guess if it was edp it might be a bit heavier and maybe not as good as this.Who knows? Summary I would continue to buy this perfume as long as i see it online or in stores. I really love it. I love light scented perfumes which are balanced and doesnt have too much of one note. I cant stand very sweet perfumes they give me headache and most celebrity perfumes are like that. There are not many perfumes out there with cherry in it.I think the old formulation for miss dior cherie had it and got removed in its new one.I like scents which has dark chocolates, strawberry, vanilla,caramel, cherry, marshmellow,citrus etc.

Cherry in the air was love at first flanker. I picked up the bottle at my sephora, sprayed the strip, and practically stuffed the thing up my nose. Off the bat, I love cherry fragrances. I've smelt the good, the bad, and the ugly. This one is great to me!! Cherry in the air manages to be completely about the berry, without being boring or teetering to cherry cough syrup smell territory. Despite what the composition's note suggest I think the fragrance smells pretty simple. A fruity slightly tart cherry in the beginning that is slightly plastic like in a soft and pleasant way. Marshmallow melds with cherry and the orchid and gardenia petals add a sweet subtle floral creamyness. The yummy aroma continues on till it's very last stage where it is almost all base, which it's pretty much non-existent anyways.If you don't like wood or suede you don't have to worry, with the poor lasting power it'll hardly stand a chance. (Something the fruity escada flankers are notorious for I've noticed.) But if lasting power is not an all fail for you, it may be worth over looking. I mean those few hours it lasts make me feel just like that girl on the bicycle in the advertising. I mean when I first smelt this fragrance I had a euphoric feeling of my little ponies running through a shower of candied hearts. It's a joyous fragrance and I love it. I feel like this would be a great fragrance for the gym, because it's fun and uplifting yet light, plus that girl on the bike is obviously getting her cardio.

I have had my eye on this fragrance for a while now, as I am new to the house of Escada. I have smelled some of their other fragrances here and there and I generally have a positive reacting upon testing them. I saw this beauty at Marshall's for 40 bucks for a 3.4 oz bottle. I thought that it was the perfect time to go for it and blind buy it (which is something I do a lot actually) As soon as I could open it and spray it, I was really glad that I picked this up. A lot of people say that this perfume has a really nice marshmallow note, and I agree, sort of. Cherry in the Air is a really telling name for this perfume because it's such a nice light fragrance. The cherry really is nice and airy, with a very tart edge and not so much 'sour'. The marshmallow is I feel the sweetness coming from the middle notes along with the vanilla. See, I really wanted this perfume to be cherry flavored marshmallows but it just isn't so. However, Escada has made a beautiful composition with this perfume. It's definitely a 'cherry' fragrance and NOT a cherry blossom fragrance. I would recommend this fragrance to anyone and everyone who loves a fruity and airy perfume.

I can't begin to express my love for this fragrance, and the profound sadness I feel knowing it was only available for a limited time. In 2013, I savored every drop of my bottle, using it daily until it was gone. It became my signature scent, but regrettably, I didn't replace it. Why? Because my perfume collection was large, and I moved on to the next fragrance. I regret not replacing it. I wish I had... This scent embodies everything sour cherry should be. It's tangy, and invigorating, electrifying every sense and leaving me yearning for more. After the initial zing of Cherry/raspberry, it envelops you in a delightful, creamy marshmallow embrace. As it settles, it reveals a sweet, woodsy blend of oak and sandalwood, adding depth and mystery. It's playful, sexy, and utterly irresistible. I received countless compliments whenever I wore it. It's beyond my comprehension why such a beautiful fragrance was discontinued/limited edition. I miss it terribly. If only I had bought four or five bottles... If anyone knows of a good quality dupe please message me. I’ve been searching for something similar ever since.

Carefree, airy, a bright perfume from Escada! I must admit that after smelling several perfumes from this brand, this is the one that gave me the best of impressions. I love its cherry note but when the marshmallow–vanilla combo develops, this is most definitively the best part for me. I usually love perfumes that have to do with pastry notes and this one was no exception. What bothers me although with those “pastry” perfumes is that their longevity is quite poor. You can easily exaggerate on the amount of sprays you use, but half an hour later, you do not smell anything anymore. Same for “Escada Cherry in the Air”... I tried to add some body lotions and creams to enhance it but, as a result, I could only smell my creams rather than the perfume. Finally, if I compare it to “Rockin Rio” that I also own, “Rio” has an amazing longevity without even using any body creams or lotions on my skin. Still, it has captured my heart. As a result, I am wearing it constantly because for me, at the end, it feels like a negative-free thoughts and uplifting perfume.

Man, how I love this perfume. It's fresh, sweet, tart cherries. Light and springy, with a little bit of sugar and musk to add some depth and longevity. Nothing medicinal or syrupy here. Very different from the cherry in TF's Lost Cherry, which has a richer, more syrupy quality to it - more like maraschino cherries. I actually much prefer Escada's cherry interpretation to TFs (though I do like Lost Cherry too). It's a favorite in spring and summer months. It's the kind of cherry that makes you thirsty. Wear it while drinking a Cherry-Limeade slush from Sonic and you'll be in a cartoon cherry heaven. My sister bought me a bottle for my birthday the year it was released, and since then I've gone through about 3 large bottles of this stuff. Though, to be fair, it's a short-lived fragrance so it gets treated more like a body spray than a perfume. I have 2 more back-ups in my stash, and when those are gone I'll truly miss this fragrance. It is a delight.

Around 2022, I saw this at a Goodwill Boutique store and did a test spray on a paper strip and on my wrists. I thought it was nice, but not knowing it was a limited edition and no longer produced, I didn't buy the 3/4 full bottle for $30. After I got home, I kept getting wifts of it and liked it alot more, but it started wearing off within hours. For the next couple of days, everytime I walked by my coat, I kept smelling this Amazing, musky, slightly fruity/floral scent. I finally figured out the smell was in the coat pocket and found the paper strip! I fell in love with the dry down, musky, cherry scent and rushed over to the goodwill to buy it. But, it was gone...my loss. I searched for it online and That's when I learned it was no longer produced!! I went to ebay and was SHOCKED by the asking price. Anyway, I've been searching for the perfect Cherry perfume ever since then. I Love TF LC but it's sooo expensive, I'm still searching...

Cherry in the air is gorgeous and has become my daily perfume. I do get candy like cherries for about 10 minutes after I spray. But then for HOURS I get this heavenly cloud of moderately sweet marshmallow, florals and a slightly soapy undertone. Never has a perfume brought me so many compliments or made me feel more comforted throughout the day. Also for an Escada, the staying power is amazing! I wouldnt say that the sillage is huge. I mean the person next to u can definitely Snell it, but not much further than that which I appreciate. But even after my 12 hr shifts at work, I still get whiffs of cherry in the air all around me. How I wish this wasn't limited edition! It is fantastic! Also I see quite a few people comparing it to the new D&G femme. I understand that they have similar notes, but IMO cherry in the air is much much better, and longer lasting.

Just the happiest little perfume in the world! Years ago, I wrote a review here where I described Cherry in the Air as "a magical fruity concoction of delightfulness," which I still stand by. Cherry, sweet marshmallow and raspberry are definitely the most prominent notes, but a funny thing happened to the fragrance when I wore it today. Maybe it's because I've only worn it in warmer months, and it's winter now where I live, but for the first time in years (five and a half, to be exact) I'm really noticing all these beautiful woodsy notes! Where have they been hiding all this time? It's a super grey and snowy day today, so I wanted to cheer up a little. I figured Cherry in the Air would be the perfect way to lift my spirits and it was - now with the added bonus of smelling and feeling very cozy after an hour! Somehow, I love it even more.

This was my second perfume in my current incarnation as an adult perfume enthusiast. I had smelled (and bought) a Rosewood travel spray at Banana Republic and all of a sudden I was entertaining the thought that perfumes could be good, worthy, enjoyable (not just headache inducing.) So I went to the Sephora inside JCPenney near my home and smelled all of the things. This was the only perfume that caught my interest. I got it online (because I'm cheap) and I still have it. Tonight I tried it again for the first time in a while, as I pare down my collection, and I determined that it's a keeper. It's fruity, tart, and sweet. The tartness keeps it from being boring. Maybe the sandalwood helps? But it doesn't smell to me like some crappy generic perfume aimed at high school girls. It's cute and sweet but also interesting and engaging.

I love cherry in the air! I've had plenty of time to get disenchanted, I've had my bottle 2 years. Everytime I spray I feel an insta-burst of happiness and optimism. There's hugs, fluffy pillows, and my little ponies dancing in the air. This fragrance does remind me a bit of that "doll head" smell but just a hint. I am reminded of a cherry scented doll I had 20 years ago. I can noticeably tell there is raspberry in here adding a bit of that tart bite as well as some sandalwood. The cherry, I think kind of fuses with the marshmallow giving it a puffy kind of sweetness a real life cherry wouldn't normally have. This is a good nonstalgic fragrance for people who want to smile. I'm not usually crazy about fruity perfumes, but this one of my favorites. My go-tos, and definitely repurchase worthy for me.

Hey perfume lovers! Finally i find a dupe for this scent on divainparfums.com. I was hounting this a few years but nothing :( it will be the next on my bucketlist for sure. I also ordered a dupe for Envy me and i'm impressed by it's quality so i'll return soon :) update: i orderet the dupe a few days ago so .. i must wait for a while to arrive.. I saw some comments that the og's scent faded away so quickly.. well when I tried it the first time in a perfumery in Holland in 2013... one puff! stayed a whole day long even next day i could smell it. I cannot understand why reformulate the most of the good performing perfumes. That sucks! update 2: i tested the divain dupe today and smells really grate (almost 100% like the OG) and the performance is also very good. I recommend it with all my heart!

I discovered this perfume two years ago. At that time, I was already wearing perfume for several years. But I had not yet found My perfume, the one that represents me perfectly and of which I would never tire. So I went to the pharmacy to smell a few perfumes as I often did. A kind counselor asked me if she could help me and I explained to her that I wanted to find MY fragrance and I told her what my perfume tastes were. She made me feel two perfumes that I liked but that was not for me. Then she made me feel Cherry in the air of Escada. I knew right away that I had finally found MY fragrance and It feels even better once on my skin. It's so soft, sexy, feminine, fruity and slightly sweet. I love everything about this perfume. It's just perfect to me! <3

LOVE LOVE LOVE. But I simply can no longer find it where I live. It distresses me a bit. This and the pink BCBG perfume are my guilty pleasures. I sprayed them both often just to boost my mood. If I pay the high prices in Europe (where I live) I will have to pay that much again or more as the import fee. So if I pay £70 for it in England and ship it to my country, I will pay that much again, almost. And many sellers do not want to send it to a foreign country. I literally look for it everywhere I go, every airport, every perfume shop, every duty free shop. Nothing. My husband and my best friend know to look for it too. I send them pictures of the bottle! This is my Holy Grail of perfumes. I know it was a limited edition. The pain is real. :)

Ooooh...cherries and marshmallows! So yummy and mood lifting; a happy perfume indeed. I used to love Escada scents; wore them like crazy when I was in my early twenties. Then I got tired of them and moved on. Well, I'm rediscovering them and what fun they are! This is no exception. I mostly get cherries, marshmallows, some raspberry and I smell sugar even though it's not in the notes. It could be the way they are blended perhaps because this is a sweet scent. I think this is great for all seasons; it's sweet and cozy for fall/winter and yet fun and zingy for spring/summer. I think it's completely safe for work too; it's not overpowering in any way. Sillage is moderate to soft and longevity is moderate on me. An enchanting, whimsical perfume!

LOVE this. This was love at first smell for me. I like the Escada summer limited edition perfumes and this one is definitely my favourite so far. I would wear this in the summer because of the fruitiness but, to me, it is much more suited to autumn or winter. Although it is very fruity, there is a depth and warmth to this perfume that I was not expecting. I thought it would be light and fresh but I find it much darker and more interesting than that. I don't think this is particularly an evening scent, whatever the season but I am looking forward to trying this again come the colder months. Words I would use to describe this perfume : fruity, warm, sweet, dark, deep and sultry.

Cherry in the Air is a definite spring/summer fragrance. It is light, uplifting and joyful. The sour cherry note is discreet and adult-like - not overpowering at all, like in some cherry soda. Marshmallows might make you think this fragrance is directed for teens, but it's definitely not. Even though the marshmallow note is dominant (at least on my skin), it is a more sophisticated marshmallow scent - not children's birthday party! Cherry in the Air surprised me with its maturity. Maturity that is still youthful and carefree. It's vibrant and brings a smile on my face. Even though this fragrance is different to other Escada editions, you can still smell it's ESCADA.

Sitting here drowning in my own self-pitty that I didn't stocked up tons of this back in the magical summer of 2014! This is one of the most fabled and unattainable dreamperfumes of today. Today, dear Fragranticas, I wear the last drops from my bottle and go out into the springsun and feel ... wonderfully smelling, but still...this self-pitty feeling lingers of this loss in my perfume collection. Escada, WHY did you discontinue this masterpiece? Instead you gave us ”Cherry in Japan” to try to make up for all those years without Cherry in the air?! Did you loose your secret paper with handwritten Cherry-in-the-air-formula on it...?

This smells amazing! I smell alot of the cherry and sweetness from the marshmallow. It is a very fruity and sweet scent. Basically spring in a bottle. I fell in love instantly and just knew I had to have it. It's unique and unlike any other fragrance I've ever smelled before. It's so delicious and yummy, I almost want to eat it. My favorite Escada scent. The only downfall for me is that it doesn't stay on my skin for very long. A few hours and I can barely smell it anymore. But I love it anyway and I will savor every drop, because it is limited edition and I will be very sad the day I run out of this fruity, juicy deliciousness.

I did not expect to like this as much as I did. It's just such a HAPPY fragrance! It's fruity and sweet without being too juvenile. It has a fun, cheerful, lighthearted vibe to it that is so rare to find portrayed in perfumes nowadays. It smells like a happy childhood (lol). At the same time, it's not extremely unique and if you're used to fruity berry perfumes and are looking for the one berry perfume to rule them all this might not hit that note. It's also not suuper long lasting. However I find it lovely and fresh and I think it's perfect for spring. I wish Escada brought it back!

Probably the only Escada perfume I’ve smelled that I really love. A BLAST of cherries and I get raspberry, suede, musk, and gardenia soon after. Dries down to a very light cherry woody, musk skin scent. I over spray this purposely because it ends up being so light although it brings me tons of compliments. I absolutely love it and don’t care that it’s light. It’s another perfect Spring-Summer scent for everyday use. If you’re like me, and don’t mind re-applying fragrance throughout the day, spray away because it’s pretty inoffensive. I would definitely buy this again!

I love this, one of my first scent loves which is why I'm probably so attached, as I've tried a better developed more complex scents since then so I realize this is not the best frag on the planet. 😆 But this is one of my cheerful scents 🍒😝 It's very fresh, fruity, synthetic sweet cherries, a bit aquatic too, perfect to spray after a shower or on a sunny day for a casual wear. I found out it's discontinued almost as soon as I discovered this scent😒 luckily I could snatch a couple of backups, because I really don't wanna be without this.❤

You know those big red juicy cherry lollipops with the bubble gum center? Well they've managed to bottle those mouthwatering babies and named it Cherry in the air. I realize summer is over, at least in the northern hemisphere where I live, and people have maybe moved on from this by now. This was marketed as a summer edition but don't make the mistake of dismissing this during winter. It actually works wonders in the cold, with the cozy sweetness lingering around all day and warming you up from the inside. The best Escada yet. Love it!

I blind bought this at TJ MAXX for $29.99 in 2017. Every day I regret not immediately going back to hoard every other bottle they had. I didn't know it would disappear. Hands down the best daytime fruity scent ever. I am so annoyed Escada won't just bring this back. Everywhere I look online people are begging for this. When I saw Escada released a cherry in Japan scent this year, I was hopeful it would be similar. Nope. I hope one day this is available again without being changed at all.

A joyful girly scent for those days when you don't feel like taking things too seriously. It's a weekend day time spring/summer perfume for shopping, walking in the park or sitting outside a bar or cafe watching the world go by. Shame it was discontinued, it's a lovely one in it's genre. It has an airy quality which the dupes (some of which are quite good) haven't been able to replicate. I found a 30ml bottle for under £40 and I thought it was worth the money.

I'm generally not into escada because tropical isn't something I am in the mood for often. I tried this because Soki London recommended this as a good marshmallow perfume. Marshmallow isn't the dominant note but cherry is another one of my favourite notes so this marries the two of them together perfectly. I love this perfume and the depth the base notes give keep it from becoming too immature. I'm really sad this is so hard to find.

I absolutly love this parfume. My husband loves the scent of Cherries and he bought me this. Luckly for me, he bought the big bottle. It smells so lovely of cherries, and it makes me think of summer, even if I wear it in the winter. On my skin it is very long lasting, and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. Im quite sad, that it ́s one of Escarda ́s summer-scents, because I love it so much.

I remember paying only $79.99 for the big bottle back around 2018-2019ish. It's the only Escada I've ever liked. Now they have it over $200 lol. Crazy... It's a beautiful cherry. It is one of those perfumes where I feel you can detect most* of the notes so it's pretty well done. Love the cherry, suede, gardenia, vanilla, oak in it most! I miss it want to get it again but those prices are crazy.

I absolutely love this fragrance, Also, I receive a lot of compliments when wearing it. Yes it is sweet fragrance but not overpowering or sickly sweet. It is just perfect. At first you can smell sweet cherries and after a short time you start noticing sandalwood and musk with hints of orchid and white leather. For me it is a fun fragrance to wear !!!

Tart cherry, clean & simple, with a little playful marshmallow sweetness. Sillage is very, very mild, but I always get compliments when someone goes in for a hug. This scent is an instant mood booster for me. It’s just happy & fun. I’m sad to be nearing the end of my bottle, but happy I have enough to spritz on occasionally as a little pick-me-up :)

i have never tried a perfume before that the pure scent of it invoked daydreaming until this. truly a wonderful perfume. it is my fantasy cherry scent and quite possibly my second or third favorite ever. I wish this one wasnt a limited edition! I will wear cherry in the air until i can no longer find more bottles.

This is, along with Taj Sunset, my favourite Escada perfume. The bottle is really cute, and the smell is very sweet. I don't know why but I think it smells like apples more than cherries. It is not so long lasting, maybe two hours on my skin, which is pretty bad for this because it's really expensive for an EdT.

My favourite Escada perfume. This is very special to me, for it Reminds me of a good friend who just passed away recently. I don't want to let it run out so I have a few backups <3 I think I smell cherry, marshmallows and leather. Yumm! I LOVE <3 I only wish it stayed on longer.

I get so many compliments when i wear this fragrance. Although after an hour i can't smell it, it seems others can detect it. It has a very strong and synthetic cherry-raspberry scent when I first apply it. I should not like it but it brings back so many childhood memories.

I love this one. I have had 2 bottles of Cherry in the air, and after a year without it, I am now longing for this one again. It ́s soft, sensuel and warm and I love the smell from the Cherry. I heard the new one from Escada is similar, Cherry in Japan. I must find out..

Smells amazing, so yummy to me.. marshmallows, cherries and raspberries, delicious! I think this is my favorite Escada scent that I've tried. It's not too childish smelling, I think anyone who likes fruity gourmands could wear it. I need to get a bigger bottle for sure.

This is has been on my wish list for quite awhile & its delicious! Juicy cherry & fluffy marshmallow all tempered with a nice woodsy musky dry down. Wish this wasn’t discontinued, luckily I got a purse spray on eBay for a steal! I’d definitely splurge on a full bottle!

Beautiful cerry. I just got it, less then three weeks and is already the most complimented perfume. My girls use it too. Is my first Escada, so far so good, long lasting., especialy on clothing. Usually I don't like sweet perfume, but this is really nice.

I absolutely love this scent. I got compliment from my friends when I used this..Lol This is very fresh and sweet, not too strong, I really love the cherry smell. Sadly, it's still hard to find in my country. :( I would love to buy it again..

I use this as a mixer fragrance when I want to be extra sweet. My boyfriend loves it. I mist a bit on over top of already sweet fragrances like Lolita Lempicka or La Vie est Belle. Cloying and overly indulgent, but oh so pleasing.

I am inlove with this perfume! It smells of crisp, fresh cherries and powdery sweetness. smells so light and refreshing! the bottle is gorgeous also. sillage is good and it lasts for hours on me :) pure cherry bliss!

Dupes: Eclat 302 RAR & Divain-194 Le femme by Armaf has a similar vibe to Cherry in the air, although it's lacking the cherry note. But I found the scent odd, so not for me. The other dupes are really good though!

I got this perfume as a free sample and didn't really care for it at first. After wearing it for a few weeks I totally changed my mind. I love the way it smells. I ended up purchasing a full size bottle.

Yum! Yum! It's just so yum! It's a happy, sweet, light, feel good fragrance. Perfect to uplift my mood on a lazy warm summer afternoon. Not much lasting power, maybe about an hour on me, only down side.

I LOVE THIS PERFUME! I have a huge fragrance collection but i think Ive found my perfect match with this one. My mouth waters everytime i wear this frag, and I get tuns of compliments when i wear it.

Escada does Cherry fragrance perfectly. It's sweet and cheerful and doesn't smell synthetic. This is a great day time fragrance and I absolutely love it. It lasts all day and into the next day.

I’m so mad at Escada for creating so many perfumes that were available for a limited time! This is in my top 5 fragrances of all time! Sweet, fruity, fun, flirty. Ugh!!! I miss it!

We sold this when I worked at Ulta years ago. It smelled absolutely delicious, perfect for the spring or summer. I wish that I could find it to purchase or something very similar.

I fell in love with this back in grad school. I still love it so much, I wear it at least once a week to work. Even if your over 30, this is still amazeballs$$$$$$$$$$
