Escada Margaretha Ley

The ONE! I cannot say much enough about how much i care and love this fragrance. Out of almost 2000 bottles i own this is probably the only one that got me compliments from both men and women at any occasion i would wear it. Men would ask me about the name, so they could buy it for their spouses, women wondered what smells so opulent and nice.... this is THE only fragrance i would keep if i would have to give up all of my perfumes! I never want to run out of it and i will never stop buying it. To me this is one of the very few perfectly balanced white florals that can be worn any season, any time of the day, any occasion and it would smell amazing. I am not that old enough to remember when it was launched and somehow back in the 90 ́s i overlooked it (was more into fresh aquatics and floral-fruities), and i only discovered it when it was discontinued and instantly fell in love. I love the smell of Hyacinth so that is why i love this fragrance so much cause to me it is the most dominant note in here. But in general it is so perfectly blended that i do not care about the notes, i just adore the scent itself overall. The EDP is the best, but fr summer i prefer the EDT as well, since it is less intense and more suitable for summer, but both are stunners! It is also linked to a very dear person of mine so when i am wearing it or smelling it we are instantly connected (love you always and forever!) Love, love, love!!! P.s. this has nothing to do with Vanderbildt or Spectacular by Joan Collins (neither in edt or esprit versions), so do not get confused. I own all of them and they are clearly not the same smelling. Even based on the notes you can tell that they are not the same. What they have in common is that all of them are very opulent and powerhouses in terms of sillage and projection.

EDP Review Let me give an example of how much I love this fragrance. I purchased 3.4 oz. EDP from eBay. About 3 oz. is left in the bottle. This much coveted item arrived and I found the spray nozzle does not work. Did I send it back....NOT A CHANCE IN THE WORLD! This is the best smelling, longest lasting, and most divine jewell in my crown. As the saying goes "this is simply the best..better than all the rest". Love, love, love this fragrance. Now I will address the staying power. Many hours after applying, several more than eight, I went to the hospital due to an emergency. Three days and several sponge baths later, I could still smell this beauty. It was my connection with the outside world and I loved it for being so. I am so nuts about this one that I just bought the lotion to match. My only question is WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY STOP PRODUCING THIS GORGEOUS EDP???????????????

Oh dear God, I miss Escada, this Escada, Escada of Margaretha Ley, a powerful woman who created for powerful women, I remember when all European Female Executives wore Escada at the Europe Feminist louge ohhh Lord what time what women, the suits the perfumes the powerful vibe. If Margaretha Ley would live to see what they did to her Escada, she would commit suicide. What can I say about this perfume, was a perfume for a powerful woman in her free time, this was wore in general at femme Polo club in Switzerland, where the high career women meet to relax and let be sincere to gossip, about what? About all this type of bimbo media promoted today and the pathetic men around them. Is light, a little sweet, I personally have never felt coconut at least not the milk, maybe its peel.

This is aömost the same as other "Escada Margaretha Ley" listed in database here only this one is in Eau de parfum and pure parfum concentration which is really intense and even more better than EDT version but i love all of them. This is a truly feminine and flower-power fragrance with a coconut touch. One of my biggest perfume loves EVER!!! When i use it i get a tons of compliments, i wonder why this has been discontinued i even wrote to escada company whether they plan to relaunch it or not and they said they might consider it if the demand is high! Very well balanced coconut, vanilla, peach and jasmine notes that seem to be all just in a right proportion. Masterpiece! I simply cannot understand why they discontinued it???!!!! This should stay with us forever!!!

The spices; the florals; the fruit; the vanilla; the musk; this perfume is what I think of when I think of perfume. Even after sniffing so many others, I wonder would this have been my desert island perfume? Ah there's the rub...how can I fall in love when I know it's gone, the last few bottles no doubt fading and certainly going up in cost: the answer is, I keep my cool and remember I still have Samsara and Youth Dew, and there are others I won't name because you will find them too. **PS - That last phrase sounds like I want to hide my favorites, but I don't: I should have said "I won't name others so you can be delighted when you find the ones that you love."**
