Island Kiss

Oh, how I loved this! It was one of my first signature fragrances and the only one I ever repurchased! There was just something about it's fruity aquatic freshness that was sweet yet also a little mellow. It was a bit gentler than the other releases, which were tropical punches, while this was more like a breeze! This is the girl who loves to dance but is a little bit more quiet. It made me feel so good when I applied it, from looking at the beautifully detailed bottle in the calm blue shade to feeling this first breeze of a hibiscus tea like note... ah the memories. My boyfriend told me he would always think of me when he smelled it on someone else and it made me smile :-) The 2011 version wasn't the same and neither were the other releases but I have found a touch of that hibiscus tea note in Adidas Fruity Rhythm and a bit of the aquatic freshness in Betty Barclay's Tender Blossom. Those are creatures of their own, but if you enjoy nostalgia, you might want to test those for a touch of the magic... ;-)

my absolutely favorite perfume for the summer! too bad they discontinued it...it was by far the "fruitiest" and sweetest of escada's summer line!i kept the bottle for a sniff...when i smell it it still reminds me of summer vacation in greek islands drinking margaritas by the pool under the palmtrees...!thats life!and thats what i love about perfumes...they are like a door to the past...to a memory...to happiness...:-)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Island Kiss. Definitely my top 3- I'd say 2, after Be Delicious by DKNY. If you like fruity, young and sexy- this is for you. I don't usually like musk, but it compliments the fruitiness so well, which is why I marked it as an evening and day fragrance. I'd say more so day. Definitely a fun summer fragrance, a really optimistic spring fragrance, too.

Oh my, how I loved this perfume in my 20s. I had four bottles, and if it was not discontinued, I might have re-bought it (even if it is not for women over 30). I loved the sweet, fruity smell, although it lingered on my scarf/top for a longer time than on my skin. As I heard the 2011 edition was nothing like it. Now I have to find a new singature scent. Sad.

i love this perfume and im on my last drop. i do think all escade perfumes that have the same shaped bottle as island kiss seem to smell similar. all scents have slightly different undertones but the base i feal is always the same =) i cant find escada island kiss anymore, and will probaby order it online, has anyone of you got a good site ??

The first time I smelled it, was on someone else. I literally could not stop leaning over and trying to figure out what it was..pineapple, coconut, but not a pina colada. Fortunately, this was my friend! I've gone through several bottles, yes, doesn't last a long time, but it's worth spraying again and again.

It's a keeper! Very summery and fruity, too bad it's LE. I don't wear it so often because I don't want to run out of it (silly me). I've never really tried the other "summer" fragrances by Escada, but I remember quickly sniffing one of them and thinking it reminded me of Island Kiss.

This is one of my favorite summer perfumes! It's sad these are so unbelievable expensive!! I had to buy almost all Escada Lmt. in NY Chinatown, where they had some left in small tiny stores. I am soo glad I found so many of them there!

i love this perfume so much!!! its candy with fruity mix! it lasts long. its so good for a tropical climate like we have here in the philippines! it's kinda hard to find already :( ill buy it when i see one in the store

This was the first perfume I ever bought with my own money back in the day, and I loved it so much! It represented everything I wanted to be in my early twenties: fresh and yummy and always at the beach!

Mmmmmmmm...it smells like pineapples (though there aren't any in the fragrance). Pineapples, pineapples and pineapples that's what I'm smelling. It's a very delicious, fun, fruity summer fragrance.

summer in a bottle...... I wear this during my summer vacation ONLY! that's why it brings sooo many good memories to me.. travels me to a greek island every time I smell it...

I like this original version more than the 2011 special edition. This one is more vibrant and exciting and juicy- the 2011 version is more flat.

A very great fragrance which I absolutely adore! Very sweet, fruity and floral. But more fruits- a safe choice!

Fond memories like everyone else here who overused this in their 20s 😊. I think I may have kept my last bottle for a very long time, casting it aside as my tastes changed, and I kind of miss having this sugary tropical musk on standby. I will go out on a limb and suggest that in addition to the obvious great fit with summer, the scent could possibly work in the winter as well because of the base notes. Not spring, because it feels very thick and heavy such that it works in either very cold weather or summer heat. There’s also nothing blue or green about it. I’d say this is kind of like a fruity drink with fizz or a super sweet cocktail with an egg white foam topper. There’s something almost powdery about it as well that takes it to this space and cuts through the sweetness a bit with a almost imperceptible slight bit of sophistication. That said, there is a really sickly sweet and synthetic berry note that is ok when it first comes out but toward the middle and end of wearing can get nauseating. It performs decently and can be detected even at the end of the day. Although this brings back a lot of nostalgia i don’t think I’d buy another bottle for myself given the plethora of other sweeties out there to try. But I would certainly buy this for my daughters and may have to pick up a couple bottles to have on hand when it’s time! My oldest is just getting in to fragrances!
