Joyful Moments

I found a 50ml size of this for $15.00 CAD and I love escada perfumes and buy all the ones that comes out so I couldn’t resist this, blind buy or not! I LOVE THIS! It is so beautiful! It’s fresh, it’s summery, girly, bit of floral, peony is prob my favourite note in a perfume and like always it does not disappoint in this beautiful gem!!! I got it online and it arrived yesterday and I sprayed my clothes I was wearing plus my skin and that was over 24 hours ago! When I got up today I could still smell it from my clothes, and I’m sure if I hadn’t sprayed myself with other ones I ordered on my skin I would still have been able to pick it up, lightly but still! This makes me love Escada even more. I would probably go to extreme measures to get even a small bottle of every perfume they have put out. I’ve had well over ten of their perfumes, I buy them when they come out every year! Ugh! So so lovely!!!

I do not get the bad reviews for this smell. Maybe too many people expected it to smell like Joyful. To my nose, it actually does, but this one is sweeter. They share the same sharp, green kick from the first spray. Then this one develops into an intensive rose-peony fragrance with subtle honey sweetness. It's beautiful, potent and it makes a statement. Probably a good choice for a date as I have noticed guys fall for sweet and rose-y perfumes, but for me it's a long-lasting every day scent that I can count on - perfect for a signature scent.

Fruity, tropical, green, nice, easy going. I can't smell any sweet notes like vanilla or honey.

Tried this once at the local perfume store, only to find out it's the first perfume by Escada that I actually dislike. Weirdest thing about this one is that it smells like...nothing. Someone mixed water with alcohol and decided to call it a perfume. And the worst: sillage is strong and duration even longer. This stayed with me the entire day and I could not believe how much I kept smelling it, especially because this perfume actually gives me allergies (makes me sneeze). A big no-no.
