Bottles of this smell FAR far different now than they did then. This was a beautiful green floral - my first perfume ever bought for me by a boyfriend. Within minutes we had both fallen in love with the fragrance.

This is spring in a bottle! Very green and crisp-I get a blast of pear, then it morphs into lily of the valley and amber, so the drydown has a nice warmth to it. This scent just makes me happy.

This a a very unique and unusually beautiful lily . Not at like typical Escada. Not cloying childish sweetness at all. Try it. It's one of the kind! You won't find anything similar!

My all time favorite. Didn't know it was limited edition when it came out and went through so many bottles of it in the summers of 2000, '01, and '02

Best Escada forever. Last perfume before the company Escada has become a producer of fruit compotes and sticky sweets.

Soft, gentle, sweet, and freshly green. An easy love for me!

I’ve come to really appreciating this fragrance. I now love the crisp green with the slightly sour. And it’s also a real perfume. You know escada doesn’t make real perfumes anymore, not many houses do. They’re all glorified body mists these days. This lily chic still has its phases, it lasts long and projects. I miss how fragrances used to be and I really took them for granted. I didn’t know that someday they’d make all perfumes weak and fleeting with no developing story. I can’t believe they’d ruin perfume like they have in the last ten years. Why? Why? Why?!!!! Who started this? Is it all about profit again? The major corporations sucking the life out of everything until there’s nothing left on earth to enjoy any longer. If they’d replenish the earth then we’d always have enough, but no these corporations take take take destroy destroy destroy.

I've owned this for a long time, but I'm only really starting to appreciate it lately. Lily Chic opens with a strong, almost sour, smell of Lily of the valley and citrus. The pear follows pretty quickly. It's a very crisp pear, like biting into one that's still a couple days away from being ripe enough to eat. Those three smells pretty much hang around in even amounts for the rest of the time I'm wearing it. Interestingly, my skin (or maybe my nose) never picks up any noticeable amber. Just white florals and fruits all the way. I agree with the review below me. This is spring in a bottle.

Escada isn't a personal favorite, but LC is surprisingly nice. Very citrusy and floral, it's not the typical drinking fruity mixers at the beach stuff that Escada specializes in. Modest sillage/lasting power. Fresh, light and work safe.

I remember wearing this, it was a fresh citrus note. I like escada bottles. I have minis as collectors items.

Managed to get a 4ml miniature of this for a low price (given it is discontinued) and I am quite disappointed. I had hopes, since it's Francis Kurkdjian's scent, but turned out it is, sadly, not for me. I like fresh scents and in general all the notes listed are right up my alley, but there is a consistent soapy note that starts in the very beginning and only fades on the dry down. On my skin this fragrance lasts less than an hour. Will be re-selling the miniature along with the bubble bath gel and the cosmetic bag it came with in a set.

In a weird way reminds me of Anais Anais. I beleive it has freesia as well. Not a fav of mine.

The fruity and zingy top notes are great and remind me of the top notes of Outdoor Shower Fresh by Clean. Like that one, the fruit disappears fairly quickly and it's Lily of the Valley with some citrus and then just Lily of the Valley. OSF however, also adds sandalwood in the base, which ends up smelling slightly masculine. So I'm not saying they are dupes, only at the top. The base notes remind me of Something Blue by Oscar de La Renta, almost a dupe if not a dupe. as well as the base notes of Escape. A certain floral smell. Someone mentioned Anais Anais perhap that shares the same drydown I'm not familiar with that one except for sniffing it at the counter in the 80s I hated it. So that explains why I can't wear this. If the top notes would hang around I would keep it. The LOTV isn't bad when it's mixed with citrus but on it's own, not my thing. ADDENDUM: I tried a few days later and I do smell the drydown of citrus after the LOTV goes away. It's close to the skin at this point. My bottle is of course, old. So I may keep this after all.

Lemon and lily! A very fragrant fruity floral. I could detect the pear but the green apple is what I was hoping to really get out of it and I did. It's a nice green apple scent so if you're looking for apples or lemon/citrus scents this is great. I can also smell the prominent lily of the valley. Beautiful, simple, easy to wear. Great to wear every day if you're just starting out collecting fragrances. This was a perfume I wore the heck out of for about a year. Ran out and bought some more.

I like it, it is fresh soft and like the lily of the valley with others sents, it is good on my skin. Not so long lasting is a pitty.

This was my first perfume! I can still smell it...the pear and the lily of the valley is really nice. This is fresh and sparkling.

This is not typical fruity floral type by Escada. Nice bitter lily of valley notes, good for warm day use, moderate longevity.

Captures a moment in time. Year 2000 when all was at peace. Gen z ers grandma type scent. Futuristic, mature ladies only.

that one smells sour on my skin but the pear is very noticable in it i didn't like it any more

its fresh,and on me a bit "green", it feels there's no harmony in the scent
