Nectar de Costa Rica

I've been collecting the Summer LEs since Ibiza Hippie (2003). Love most of them. My faves being Ibiza Hippie, Sunset Heat, and Turquoise Summer. When I first sprayed Nectar de Costa Rica, I thought it was identical to Turquoise Summer so I had to do a side-by-side test. Very close but not identical. I feel TS is a bit deeper and has more longevity, but Nectar de Costa Rica is very nice and lasts decently. It smells like a fun, delicious tropical fruity drink. Cheers!

Typical Escada Summer fragrance. Delicious fruityness.

This is a tropical smoothie in a bottle, and I mean that in the best way. Creamy mango, juicy chunks of pineapple, and then out of nowhere, a cedarwood base that gives it just enough structure to keep things interesting. It’s light, airy, and made for hot weather. It definitely has that classic Escada summer vibe, meaning it's playful, fruity, not too serious, but it smells so good you can’t help but smile. I can already picture myself wearing this in Greece next month, sun on my skin and sea breeze in the air. The bottle is gorgeous too, a stunning blue that looks just as fun as the juice inside. I got a massive 100ml for around £25, which was very reasonable in my opinion. Would I repurchase? Probably not, as there are so many Escada scents that smell just like this one, but I'll enjoy it every time summer rolls around.

How utterly delightful! It's blended very well because I do not pick up on the reported mango and pineapple. I know both mango and pineapple well and cannot smell it in this one. I am not saying they are not there, it's just blended that way although the opening is very fruity. Which fruit does it smell like? I do not know despite it being very juicy and tropical. The opening in this one just like all escada summer limited editions is mouth watering. You just want to keep reapplying to relive the opening.

This smells so classically Escada summer vibes! It’s fresh, it’s fruity, fun flirty beachy all the right notes perfect for a summer fragrance, a warm night out or if you’re like me and you’ll wear whatever fragrance you want regardless of the season rhyme or reason :) this has a hint of D&G Light Blue to it but much fruitier. I’ll never get sick of these yearly summer releases! I do have the other one that came out with this so I’m looking forward to leaving a review for it, it’s called Brisbane Cubana (I might be spelling that wrong it’s in my vanity right now and I’m not getting up from the couch lol) it’s also a very fruity typical escada moment. If you are a fruity, sweet, fresh or tropical fragrance lover than you’ll love both this release and the Cubana one as well! Standing ovation as per usual!

Reminds me of Ibiza Hippie but a tad more plastic than I remember. I truly do not think so many scents had this plastic tinge years ago. What happened? I do not think it is my nose aging. But it's predominantly in fruity/watery profiles. This perfume is OK but Ibiza Hippie I could easily overspray without consequence. This needs a light hand or it's headaches & more plastic 😕

I would swear this was passion fruit if you didn’t show me the notes and passion fruit to me has always smelt like weird b.o . Not a fan , I miss old school escada so much ! It never missed #36 out of 114 of my perfumes I’m trying to use before buying new ones

What happened? I was eager to try it but I still have not found it anywhere! :( did it just disappear before it was released, or stores in my country wont take it in? The two others are everywhere. (Brisa cubana and chiffon sorbet)

Just recently i’d been wondering what the next escada summer fragrance will be. Christmas came early I guess, cause now I at least know the notes. Can’t wait to smell it.

I'm wondering if this will give the Mugler Eau au Crosiere vibes that I've been wondering about!
