Show Me Love

Escada Show Me Love Limited Edition.I am older. Just luckily blind bought this beauty. I read some other reviews and, understandably, fragrances work with each individual's body chemistry. On me smells divine, sexy & flirtatious. Divine because a couple of seconds after I spray it I immediately get an almond that sticks to my skin in a great way, almond & very light grapefruitish-blueberry-type scent intermingled with almonds which is perfectly balanced and blended in a sultry way. Sexy because the slight vanilla scent combined with macaroons is indescribably appetizing to the senses. And, flirtatious, I believe, because it tickles the senses. I will continue to have this fragrance in stocks- for a long time had been searching for a vanillic fragrance with almond scent. Show Me Love is definitely not a sugared cotton candy cheapie fragrance. It is a mysterious classy biscotti with a twist.

Fresh, pleasant and very summery. I've been wanting this one for a while because I've been after a good blueberry scent ever since the days of Avon's Electrify Me from the early 2010s, and I found Show Me Love sitting all by itself at my local TK Maxx for £32.99. My local doesn't really stock perfumes anymore so I was really surprised to see it! To my fairly inexperienced nose, I don't get jasmine from this at all. It's a bright blueberry that carries a strong lemony note (my husband thought orange), and as it dries down it becomes more of a shampoo scent that then mellows into blueberry macarons without being sickeningly sweet. It's inoffensive and I'm very happy with this blind buy! I really like the bottle, though I think I'll be storing it upside down just to not risk leaking.

Ahh, finally- an Escada perfume that is DIFFERENT! I love the Escada house, but every year, the 'new' ones always end up smelling so similar to the last! Not this one, though... at first spray, it begins with a BLAST of very tart blueberry, which is super inviting! However, that quickly changes into a more rounded, fruity 'pie' blueberry- and then, turns into an almost nutmeg-ish, subtly bready sort of gourmand type of aroma. The end result is still fruity, VERY delicious, and a bit richer than most of the typical yearly Escada editions. This one has a bit more depth, but is still not super long-lasting, unfortunately. I'd still highly recommend it for anyone liking a fruity scent with a bit of gourmand- the blend is utterly exquisite! I just wish it lasted a bit longer.

This was a blind buy for $19.99 at Marshall’s and wow, it’s DELICIOUS!!! At first spray, you get a blast of mouth watering, semi-tart blueberry. But it quickly turns sweet, and then, I get what is almost a nutmeg note?! It ends up smelling on me like a delicious berry pastry! I love it. The only problem is that, like most Escada scents, it just doesn’t last that long. Also, the bottle is cute but awkward? It sits as a heart but the spray nozzle is on the bottom, as is the cap. So if basically rests upside down, and you turn it upright to spray. I’ve had it for a couple of months and this doesn’t seem to affect its ability to spray properly.

A delightful, invigorating scent. It effervesces with the freshness of ripe berries and carries a distinct, dessert-like sweetness that envelops you in a delicious and soft mist. The fragrance has a reasonably long-lasting presence on both skin and fabric, enduring for about 6 to 8 hours. However, I find myself doubting whether I am perhaps slightly too mature to wear this perfume. Nevertheless, I choose to disregard that, as it's a lovely summer fragrance that I thoroughly enjoy. This isn't a groundbreaking or innovative scent we're dealing with here. But it is an incredibly pleasant and juicy delight.

Found a big bottle at Burlington for $30. I first bought candy love (which I looooove) so I decided to buy it when I found it. At first it does have a harsh opening- very fruity hair spray. But the dry down? Smells similar to B&BW Blueberry Sugar Pancakes. It's a lot more creamier/gourmand than I thought it would be on my skin. I honestly might like it a little more than Candy Love- which I didn't think I would! Good fragrance over all! 🥞🫐

She’s definitely related to sparkling lychee. tart chewy blueberry sweets. Bright and juicy and fizzy. Artificial blueberry but the candy kind not the gross kind. Love this and will layer w sparkling lychee (or khair fusion) when I get a new one. My friends pointed out a prominent blackcurrant note which isn’t listed but I think I smell that more than blueberry. It’s fizzy and juicy on me but juicy and warm on them. Lovely!

This smells like how a mixed berry smoothie tastes— crushed berries seeds and all. Really super potent too, I love strong but this, if too much on, will smell gross and overwhelming. Sparingly it’s a delight at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s a great layering scent. I layered this with Britney Spears Festive Fantasy and it’s scrumptious 🥰

Happy Valentine's Day 2024. A gift to myself. Kitsch packaging, bottle inclusive. It's a limited edition one worth it for the linear blueberry coulis olfactory vibe. I bought it for layering. Best to keep it upside down in it's box. I'm very satisfied with this. Cheers. T.

This was just delivered today. I love it. It’s very sweet. The jasmine is not too prominent for me, which is great, as I am somewhat sensitive to heavy jasmine (makes me nauseated). It’s great for people who love sweet gourmand fragrances.

Has a very similar vibe to Poets of Berlin. I actually enjoy this fragrance a lot more. Well priced and well executed. I purchased my bottle for $39. Last 3 hours on my skin, and at this price I don't mind spraying indiscriminately. FBW

Oh this is soooo, so good... delicious berries & cream. My favorite of the 3 hearts! It starts off quite tart, but the drydown is incredibly creamy (and a bit musky). Absolutely divine

I passed on Candy and Fairy Love. I cannot wait to get my hands on this!!!!

I’m a gourmand freak and so HAD to get my hands on this for the notes alone despite expecting it to be entirely juvenile with no lasting power whatsoever. It is somewhat juvenile as it is mainly a blue raspberry fragrance but the blueberry still comes through clearly as does the macaron. The macaron note is quite restrained. It’s not overtly bakery but does tease bits of cream and cookie and overall mainly translates as the unique semi-sweet powderiness of almond without any of the actual nuttiness of almond. Quite lovely and nuanced in a surprisingly mature manner. The mix of goofy, drippy blue raspberry candy with the refined, ladylike almond works really nicely together. The longevity on this is decent compared to my expectations. About four hours. The sillage is poor but that’s fine as this is one which will mainly be appreciated by fellow gourmand freaks who are addicted to the novelty of smelling themselves as actual desserts and not necessarily trying to impress others. This has been a pleasure to wear on carefree spring days and I’m looking forward to wearing it on the Fourth of July in order to evoke Bomb Pop imagery. My only gripe is with the bottle design. My bottle started leaking after a month and whether or not the sprayer was faulty to begin with, the issue was surely exacerbated by the top down design of the bottle.

I'll comment on the smell another time ~ just wanted to leave a comment regarding the LOOKS only; I specifically went to the shop to test Show Me Love (SML). I noticed it immediately on the shelf and reached out to it ~ "There it is!" I excitedly said to the sales assistant. (lol) I took it in my hand and looked at it ~ after a few seconds I realized I wasn't holding SML in my hand; it was Fairy Love I had picked up! SML was below it, on another self. Point being: They look IDENTICAL in real life. The color red is slightly different, but still close enough to make them hard to tell apart. What a wasted opportunity?? I had visioned myself collecting all the hearts they release (sad, I know), and each heart would have been a DIFFERENT COLOR. (Like with My Little Ponies or Care Bears in the 90s!) It could have been a cool collection. SML is a blueberry-dominant scent, so why not use a shade of pastel blue or purple as the main color? (You know, the same color you get by mixing blueberries with milk) That with a white inner heart.. It would have looked adorable! Or they could have even used the colors of those blueberry macarons they used on the ad campaign; purple heart with a darker purple inner heart. So mega thumb DOWN to Escada for this DESIGN FAIL! Doesn't make any sense, and in fact, comes across as pretty lazy.

Found this gem at Burlingtons for $30 and was shocked! Definitely had to purchase this blind. I am aware of the other 2 Escada Love perfumes but this one really wasn’t on my radar to buy. The first spray is extremely harsh. Pure alcohol and some sort of weird citrusy note that I was not expecting. I was really starting to doubt this. To be honest, I didn’t even know what notes was in this fragrance. The surprise comes in the dry down. This is where this perfume BEGINS TO SHINE! The blueberry note is beautifully crafted and it’s very light, not offensive at all. I get some sort of shampoo vibes also but it doesn’t bother me much. Jasmine isn’t coming in at all for me, which is a shame because I love Jasmine. All in all: You can definitely wear this all seasons! I get the comparison to B&BW Blueberry Sugar Pancakes. Except — this is not sugar / syrupy as B&BW. Show Me Love is more fresher, cleaner if you will. The Blueberry notes are the same deal but again, don’t expect a super sweet fragrance because this isn’t it. It’s light. This will be my 3rd blueberry fragrance so, im really happy with it.

I've actually come to like Show Me Love ~ it has become my 2nd favourite scent in this Escada heart line. (Haven't tried the 4th one yet, the cherry one) However, it has the poorest longevity out of the first three, and its dry-down isn't that nice. There is an obvious blueberry cloud, though, that surrounds me from the beginning to the end—which is lovely! (Blueberry is my favourite berry) THAT SAID. I bought my bottle only 7 months ago and have safely stored it in the perfume closet. When I used it again today (after a while) it didn't quite smell/perform the way it did in the beginning. It's almost like it smelled watery, could hardly get a proper smell out of it even with several sprays... (Normally all it takes is 1-2 sprays for me) THIS GOT ME WORRIED. I hope it's not going off this fast? So I'll put a question mark, for now, on the Show Me Love's reliability in terms of quality. Maybe not all the bottles (the juice in it) smell the same, and/or perhaps not all last as long even when stored correctly? The other heart perfumes have kept very well.

Mmm... Catching whiffs of this as I am cleaning my house. I bought Bath and Body Works Blueberry Sugar Pancakes because my child adores gourmand scents. Comparing Show Me Love (ESML) to the B&BW body mist, ESML is a fresher and more light hearted scent. Think if you were having a coffee with dessert, the dessert would compliment the coffee as opposed to over powering the coffee like some heavy decadent desserts often do. ESML is slightly sweet creamy almond blueberry macarons, but not the in your face high stack of buttery buttermilk blueberry pancakes with super sweet blueberry syrup and mountain high vanilla whipped cream topping. If you are seeking the latter, you'll have to stop by a restaurant or get the B&BW blueberry sugar pancakes line. ESML is quite wearable and not juvenile. If you like gourmand scents or cozy scents, this is a nice deviation from the caramel and vanilla cupcakes that overload the current market. Due to the almond note, I recommend sampling before purchasing.

It smells like a type of blueberry hardcandy or lollipop. There's a hint of jasmine that makes it smell more Perfumey than just straight up candy although it gets quite close to that. Moderate sillage. It's definitely on the teen side, but I still like it. I'd say it's a great summer scent if you like sweet Perfumes because you get the (artificial) cherry feel but it doesn't feel overpowering or too sweet. I live in a very hot and humid place (like in the 40° F) where every perfume has to last hours and particularly I like the fact it fades evenly without getting the hint of just sugar overtime. Tl;dr: not the best perfume but if you like candy smelling perfume and are nostalgic for a 2000s like scent, if you get in on a deal it's a nice option. :)

Received a bottle of this for Christmas, and it's a fun, playful addition to my collection. Strong blueberry, jasmine and something that leans very much like whipped cream on me, like a delicious, nostalgic blueberry milkshake. Probably one of the most realistic blueberry scents I've tried in a while. It's a very feminine scent, I imagine it'll be great for spring days, walking in the park on a date. It's a nice daytime, casual scent. Would I repurchase? No. I enjoy it, but unfortunately it doesn't last long on me and there's a note that turns just a little sour after a while. It's still worth a sniff in my opinion, I look forward to trying it out again in warmer weather!

This was a blind buy and a bargain at TKmax. Since I really liked the Escada scents when I was younger, and I really like blueberry in shower creams and bodylotion, I thought I could give it a shot. Opening is really a fresh blast of blueberries, I think the opening is the best of this scent. Blueberry galore, almost sparkling. Get no yasmin whatsoever, the drydown is soft and sweet, I don’t know what a macaron smells like, but to me the drydown smells like how the cookie of an Italian icecream tastes, softened from the blueberry icecream in it. Not bad, I am happy with it. Not exceptional, but a easy going fruity fresh summer scent.

When I first reviewed this I wasn't sure because it reminded me of gin and tonic or raspberry lemonade but now since I have worn it more, I really like this! It really reminds me of the initial burst of Signorina Mysteriosa which I love however I was always super disapointed with the dry down. Show Me Love keeps that beautiful fresh berry scent throughout which i loveee. Also I find longevity and sillage to be quite good on this one, not amazing but good. Still don't think its worth some of the crazy prices people are selling this for due to it being limited edition but it is really quite nice!!

This is a real surprise lol! The initial burst i thought would be a blueberry bomb, but it actually scream wild raspberries! Not any blueberries at all. When it settles i get more blueberry, but more in like wildberry mix kinda feeling. It has a twist im not really comfortable with yet. I think I need a few more tests before I decide to buy or not. I do really love the berry blast though so I really really wanna like it! It might be the jasmin making it a little weird as im kinda picky on that. Try before buy, but if you seem to like the notes, I think its a nice buy as its rather affordable.

This is such a fun & bubbly scent. So lively, innocent and energetic. You basically smell like a refined candy cane. The macarons and the blueberries melt into each other until perfection, it is delicious and the bottle design gives me a rush feeling of happines everytime I see it, everyone is in love with it when I take this perfume out of my bag to re-spray it...oh & I need to reaplly it a lot cause the longevity of this sucks and for all the perfume girlies with an already bad pH, like me, that makes every perfume last on them 2 hours at best...this fragrance will drive you insane!

Since blueberry is not a common note, I tend to blind buy anything and everything with a blueberry note. I'd say I see similarities with Sugarful Dream and perhaps Midnight Fantasy( even though there's no blueberry note I swear I can smell one). This doesnt smell like a snack but straight up synthetic blueberry in the most fun way possible. This is a spirited fragrance without being juvenille. I can see any gender of any age rockin this one in the spring or early summer days. I get about 3 hours of longevity with about 6 sprays. More than 6 sprays then it's way too cloying.

I got this perfume just yesterday, but I wanted to tell my first thoughts here since there are not so many reviews yet. On first spray I get juicy blueberry note. The blueberry is done well, it is juicy and sweet (without being cloying). Pretty soon I start getting also the jasmine note. My favorite part of the perfume is the base notes. I get the scent of freshly baked blueberry macarons. I don't think this perfume lasts well on my skin but I like this regardless. Fits well with the other two perfumes of this range. Nice perfume for autumn and winter in my opinion.

06. September 2022 This one is already in stores, so i have been trying it for a while now and i must say i really like it. This edition is waaay much better than Candy and Fairy Loves. This one is sweet, but with a very strong blueberry. Even though blueberry is a tricky one, and can smell really bad, this one smells yummy! And the lasting power along with silage are really good. I really like it a lot and planning to get a bottle. The bottle itself is nice deep red colour, unlike last year's edition of bright red.

I was really excited to try this when I saw the unique notes however it ended up smelling quite boring to me. You do get blueberry but its quite bitter and acidic, it kind of smells like a blueberry or raspberry lemonade (honestly a little bit like a vape) it just smells quite cheap and because it is limited edition a lot of people are selling it at a high price point, in my opinion it is not worth the money. Longevity and sillage are also poor. The other Escada Love perfumes are better in my opinion.

I got it for a really decent price on sale (because I loved the bottle lol) it is pretty generic and just smells like the perfume aisle to me and I can barely smell it. And I am a fan of generic cheap gourmands so you know I mean it. I think I will let it macerate and see what happens Edit: I wore it when it was a bit cooler out and it definitely smells a lot better, I get a lot more of the blueberry. I think it was just super hot out and when I first tried it and that didn't do it any favors

I had the chance to test this as the drug store and the first spray was delicious, it was very much blueberry and almond, however at the very quick dry down that deliciousness fades and it turns into a very generic blueberry shampoo scent or as somebody else in the comments said “it’s giving vape juice.” It’s nice, it’s a young girly generic scent and if you love blueberry and shampoo-y scents you’ll probably like this one.

This smelt a little familiar at first. Then I realized it reminded me of Bath & Body Works Into The Night. This is like the baby sister version, without the coffee note. Both have berries and jasmine in the notes, hence the silimarity. I plan to layer this with Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy to amp up the sweet berry notes and Into The Night for a deeper amber vibe. Pretty versatile perfume, in that sense.

OMG this is such an amazing blueberry macaron fragrance. When I first tried it and I knew that I had to get it. For my luck it was on clearance and got the 100ml for 40 euros. It is a must fragrance for someone who loves a good blueberry, like me. Very much a gourmand and fruity at the same time. You also get a little powdery note in there when it starts to dry down. Not that long on longevity but meh.

Blueberry fragrances are not very common, so I wanted to give Show Me Love a try. I did a blind buy since I couldn't find anyone in the US selling samples. It's a fruity, tart blueberry scent with a touch of sweetness. The initial spray is a bit harsh, but once it's dries down, I can definitely smell blueberry and it's reminiscent of a blueberry macaron.

It's definitely a very berry scented perfume. It's non offensive, somewhat fresh. Not super complex but simple in a good way. It's fairly long lasting on me which is what I expect at this price point. You don't have to keep spraying throughout the day. The bottle design is kind of cheap but still super cute. I got this as a mother's day gift for my mom.

Oh my goodness, this is blueberry! Bubbly and round, with a slight dash of generic body mist on the opening, this smells exactly like a blueberry macaron! There is even that wonderful powdery sugar scent on the dry down! This is like blueberry yogurt and blueberry jam and blueberry smoothie all wrapped into one atop a wonderful flaky pastry!

First spray and there's a scent I don't like...I'm guessing it's the jasmin. but then that wears off quickly and I'm left with a sweet berry smell. I don't hate it but also it's not one of my favourites. I probebley won't buy it again in favour of one of the others.

Fresh juicy wild berry scent which smells exactly like my current body wash. It makes a good after shower fragrance. The heart shaped bottle is so cute and lasts a good few hours. I feel like it’s also good year round but better in colder seasons.

the opening is a little harsh with almost tart blueberries with the jasmine, but then in the drydown the jasmine chills out a lot, and it smells like a slightly synthetic sweet fresh blueberry, its not as gourmand as i expected

This is nice. Sweet with a fresh touch, youthful, soft. It’s nothing groundbreaking but it’s pleasant. The macaron dominates on my skin. If you like gourmand fragrances, it’s a safe blind buy, just don’t overspray in the heat.

I test it on my wrist in the drugstore, I like it, but on me it's almost a dupe of Lolita Lempicka Sweet for some reason, I don't see the point of having them both.

I really like this paper on paper, but on a skin smells really diferent and doesn't past few minutes. So sad. Smells so yummi and sweet.

Smells like a sweet, fresh blueberry shampoo

If a brand like Kayali released a fragrance like this, it would sell out its first week. I’ve found that the overarching scent profile of Escada is a bit a similar to Kayali’s scent profiles: fruity sweet and tropical. And yet, since it’s from Escada, it’s not as widely popular. Go figure. I found this at Burlington for $29 for a 2.5 oz bottle. That being said, I’m a bit surprised that this little beauty isn’t much more popular than it is. That’s when you know that it’s really all marketing, and you really do pay for the branding. This Escada fragrance is surprisingly rather enchanting and whimsical and although it was an impulse buy, I actually think I might keep it around. I don’t often see the note blueberry in a fragrance and let me tell you that the blueberry note in this fragrance s PROMINENT and it PERSISTS throughout the duration of the fragrance’s wear, which honestly shocked me in the best way possible, and yes it is a tad bit plasticky in the opening, but as it settles it smells like the cutest French patisserie. The blueberry note morphs from a 100% syrupy jammy blueberry compote with macaron, to a slightly more green nuance the longer the fragrance wears, and it reminds me of the stems in a blueberry bush, which I found incredibly interesting and unique! So there is actually a hint of a sun ripened, fresh-picked blueberry that will surprise you the longer you wear the fragrance. Granted, It’s a little bit obnoxious for someone who isn’t as fond of sweet candy fruity gourmand scents, but it’s pleasant, so I’m not knocking it at all. I’ll find occasions to wear it. It makes me feel happy and carefree and young. Even though I’ve technically worn it a couple time so far, I actually haven’t sprayed it on my skin yet - I’ve actually just been spraying one spray of this on my sweaters I’ve worn in the past couple days and it sticks so well to the fabric, that I can still catch wafts of it after about 7 hours! The macaron note that is listed is probably coming from that almond heliotrope that I’m getting, which really lends to quite a cozy feel on the fragrance’s drydown. I admit I’m a bit set in my ways already when it comes to the fragrance brands I usually go for, but I really must say that this is a surprisingly solid really fun, charming, decent quality scent! It could be from an indie house, it’s that unique, actually! I thought the blueberry would fade over time but I’m happy to report that it didn’t! I don't get any jasmine whatsoever with this. No weird musky or woody undertone, it is a very straightforward bright saturated sweet fragrance that lingers on clothes, and I love that about it. EDIT 2/26/24: While I stick by what I said about this fragrance, this unfortunately doesn't last on the skin like it does in clothes. Applying Vaseline does help the longevity, but my skin chemistry makes it smell sickeningly sweet and one dimensional without the ‘green’ transformation I described in this review, whereas on fabric, it develops and transforms into something a bit more unique, and smells delightful. Since I don't get the same development or longevity on my skin that I get on fabric, I will unfortunately need to sell this.

Okay. Just applied, will continue to edit as the day goes on and scent changes. At first spray, it smells like the taste of these berry flavoured fish oil tablets I used to take as a kid. Very artificial, very preserved. That only lasted a minute or so. Then it began to smell like blue, and berry, but not blueberry. There is a faint powdery sweet scent clinging to my arm, I wouldn't say macaroon but it's pleasant. It's more like a blondie, just sweet and plain. The herbal scent of the jasmine has just made itself apparent. It's become sweet and smokey. It's not very floral. It smells like a jelly candy, almost. Not a realistic blueberry scent, but a blueberry scent. It's very faint. About an hour in? And I'm only able to smell it on my chest where it's warmed. It is an absolute beautiful blueberry juice. Almost like a blueberry scented strawberry shortcake doll. Not plasticky. I'm not going to buy it, but it probably suits some people. Not strong enough for me. After 6 or so hours there's no scent there other than something cheap and sweet.

This perfume is better than I expected although it smells a bit artificial/synthetic. It lasted for many hours on my skin and performed better than many other designer fragrances. The perfume itself smells like blueberries, jasmine and macarons. Although the smell of blueberries is not my favorite (I prefer strawberries or cherries :-)), I can appreciate it and enjoy wearing it from time to time.

It smells super cheap I'm so disappointed, it's the worst escada in term of longevity, sillage and smell, the basic fruity shampoo smell that you find for 5€ at the market

$30 at Burlington seen the raspberry one there for $13. I don't get blueberries, sweet mix berries and jasmine. Smells like a better version of Midnight Fantasy.

Super sweet and fruity. Juvenile and leans towards a B&BW body spray. Cute for pre-teens!
