Turquoise Summer

So, being the perfume addict I am, when this came out I went to my shoppers drug mart and sprayed like mad from the tester! It's VERy fruity, it's hard to even describe how fruity and sweet this is! It would be a really fun scent to wear if you were to be vacationing somewhere tropical, or those summer days that aren't too hot, a nice summer breeze while enjoying the beach, or pool side! It's fun, it really is....that being said, I think it's a bit too hyped up fruit juices to be a staple in my ever growing collection! So instead, what I did....I buy perfume samples off the Internet- they start at 79 cents and go up to 3.99 for the higher end perfumes, but then you chose a small glass vial or 3ml or 5ml atomizer! So....I'm waiting for my turquoise summer samples to make its way here! Aaaaaaaand then I will enjoy it a few times in the summer!

I remember when I first bought this perfume. Before I was even into fragrances like I am now. The sales associate mentioned it to me and I smelled it and absolutely could not believe how this smelled. I was SHOOK to say the least. It smelled soo super fruity and sweet like punch and I HAD TO HAVE IT!! I would only use it for special occasions and I literally just finished it up this year and I got it when it was first released 😅 lol. WELL I repurchased a bottle and I cannot wait to start enjoying it. All I get is a VERY juicy watery sweet fruit punch smell from this. Doesn’t last a super long time but spraying this on is the best part of the experience to me, because I get to experience the fantastic scent all over again. Nothing complex or serious, but I love that. Easy reach, and refreshing

Alright, so if anyone wants to know how much I love this....well I can tell youFedEx just dropped off my sixth(maybe seventh) bottle of it lol this is vacation! Beach! Swim up bars, no children lol (love ‘em but this is MY vacation day dream lol) fruity drinks, summer fun, having a summer romance and wearing this as your signature for the months you’re together! GOD it’s so good! The ONLY downfall to this is that it’s not get the strength behind it like I would hope, and it’s not something dirt cheap you can just reapply over and over , at least not the way I would haha

I am going to start this by saying that the Escada summer fragrances are some of my favourite summer smells, and I do have a partial bias in that regard! And this gem certainly stands true to the Escada name!!! It it has this beautiful fruity smell to it that to me almost smells like blue whale candy! It’s not an obnoxious fruity smell, it’s very beautiful very summery and has decent longevity. Everyone will tell you that you smell like summer-this I promise you ;)

Fruity crowd-pleaser that doesn't last more than 3 hours on me. I bought it after smelling it on a friend (copycat I know lol) and I couldn't get enough of it. I have to spray about 6-7 times in order for it to actually last on my clothes, but it's so light and fresh that it doesn't matter to me. I go crazy with this every summer and the bottle is one of the cutest in my collection

I love this one soo much! Definitely a must have for those who are fans of sweet, fruity scents, because that's just what this perfume is. Not very mature or complex - what you smell at first it's what you'll get from the entire time you wear it! About the "time you wear it" - longevity could be better, lasts around 5 hours on me but sillage is pretty good.

This is my most complimented scent without a doubt! People turn around when I walk by wearing this, they come up rolling their eyes and ask what perfume I wear, and the other day I was sitting in a meeting where the speaker suddenly exclaimed: ”WHO smells sooo good in here?!” Well...it was me and my Turquoise summer.. :)

I think this one ranks 3rd on my top of Escada summer perfumes. 1. Agua del Sol (I'd love to see one that can top this Agua del Sol, yum!) 2. Born in Paradise, very nice. 3. Turqoise Summer (similar to BiP). I am not impressed by Taj Sunset and Rockin' Rio at all.

This could be my most favourit from all the flankers. Very fruity, very me!! Love love love.. Can't wait to go to my sunny vacation at beach, wearing this whild drink some pinacolada under the sun and surrounded by summer breeze, this is heaven..

Strawberry all the way! You can smell this scent from another room (skin scent lovers may want to be cautious) and it smells just like the fruit cocktails you get on holiday resorts. This reminds me of blue skies, calm seas and the beach!

Ok now that my samples have arrived I have to say that this perfume is super duper sweet! But it's super fun at the same time! It's made me decide I am gonna buy the full size!

Virgin strawberry daiquiri. I love it for the beach. One of my favorite Escadas. Nothing sour or plasticy. Just an adorable fruity scent.

I'm in love with this! Pineapple-strawberry-mango fruity amazingness with a hint of vanilla. A very cute, uplifting, fun fragrance. :)

Fruity and fresh, sweet and fun scent with a taste of sweet bubble gum, i think of summer when i smell it. Love, love, love! 8/10

This is a mouth-watering scent! Lasts like .85 seconds. But smells great.

As with most Escada fragrances, it is hard not to like something so flirtatious and fruity. Opening spray is pretty sweet, and a little bit sharp. For me, ripe strawberries and succulent orange battle to become the dominant note on my skin. The pineapple starts to flutter in after a little while, but it's definitely there. There is something a little bitter underneath the initial blast, so I understand why some of the reviews say there is a slightly smokey note to it. Some other Escada perfumes can be a little too sweet and overbearing - this one is just nice. It's a little bit softer and muted, while still remaining juicy and beachy. Maybe it's the milky base? I'm not sure. It's not something I reach for often, especially not during the winter, but I wore it a lot last year when I went on holiday to Rhodes. It really did smell delicious and tropical in the warm climate. A safe blind buy. I really do enjoy it, but I'm not overly wowed by it. I've never had a compliment from this one either, but no one has ever said it smelled bad. It's just nice and pleasant and pretty. A reviewer below said it was a neutral perfume, and I agree. It's never going to be anyone's signature scent, but it's also very nice and pretty for day wear in the Summer. I probably wouldn't repurchase.

I forgot I bought this several years ago. It was in one of my makeup drawers, and I just tried it again and I really like it. I have always liked Escada's fruity beachy perfumes and have been wearing them since the early 2000s. I probably bought this bottle around 2019, and it still smells great. I definitely smell the strawberry and melon in it. It is refreshing and perfect for summertime! A lot of people say it would be best suited for younger girls, but I am turning 39 soon and don't care about that stigma. I'll continue to wear my fruity fun scents in the summer until I die 😂 it doesn't have great longevity, but if you spray it on your skin and clothes I can still smell it 4 or 5 hours later. I am going to assume it has been discontinued by now, but figured I would still write a review after rediscovering it this week.

This is such a cute scent! Very Escada-ish. The main note is fresh, sweet strawberry, slightly blended with pineapple, black currant and other berries and fruits. All the fruity notes are more on the juicy and sour side, but ripe, so this reminds me of a summery wine cooler/fruit punch or a ripe sugared fruit salad, and not of bubblegum or strawberry jam like some other strawberry fragrances. There is a hint of vanilla in the drydown, but this is not a creamy or milky scent. I get a bit of a shampoo-like note that keeps it fresh and clean. Overall Turquoise Summer is playful and happy. I think it smells more red/pink than turquoise, I mean it‘s a berry scent... The performance is not exceptional, but all right for a summer Escada. I like it.

I've got cheaper perfumes (for example Paradiso by Bi-es) that smells similar to this or even better... However, this one is alright. Smells a little too much alcohol but over all fruity. I think it smells peach, raspberry and orange. The strawberry is there too but it's not prominent, just like the vanilla and rhubarb. I would not recommend it since there's better scents/fragrances with fruity notes, also it's not the cheapest alternative. I could wear it but never buy/keep it.

very syrupy, thick and longlasting, kinda artificial smell. the plus side: not watery or watered down, good Quality, longevity, projection. down side: too artificial fruity, very heavy fruity but if you like this Kind of scent, go for it. my sister just loves it (and shes a sophisticated woman and mother in her late thirties...go figure). not for me, though edit: actually refreshing, anyway, not too heavy cloingly sweet

Love it. This perfume is quite strong on my skin, at least. My boyfriend said it's bit too strong but I love it. I think you either like it or dislike it, but I don't think you can hate it. I can feel fruits on my skin, especially strawberry notes. I do not smell vanilla, though. But, all in all - I like it. I recommend this perfume to very cheerful girls who are looking for fun in summertime. ♡

It's not bad, just not for me. I definitely get a strawberry-melon Japanese soda vibe, albeit a tad synthetic. This will be rehomed via a listing online, as someone else will love it more. I much prefer my Born In Paradise, Sorbetto Rosso, and Taj Sunset (before something in it turned in my bottle. We will see if Dua's inspiration from Taj Sunset compares!).

This is vacation in a bottle. It's straight up sweet tropical fruits. I think it's really fun in the right setting! It's fruity and floral, a mouthwatering aquatic summer scent. This is purely fun and flirty, it's not sophisticated or complicated, but it works when you need it to! You do have to drench yourself in this though, because it really doesn't last.

At first I have to say that I love the advertising! These pictures are so amazingly beautiful! The perfume didn't surprise me very much. I knew it was going to be sweet and tropical. And so it is. When you smell it you just know it's Escada. Kind of typical. It's quite nice, just the "interesting" factor is gone. Pineapple note is not my thing, I guess.

I’m pretty shocked at this perfume. I thought it would smell more like berries but it smells like this drink I get at the bar/club that has orange juice in it. Not bad at all but bizarre and not what I was expecting. The scent also starts off strong and fades quickly. A part of me likes it and wants a bottle and another part of me is telling me to pass.

This is voted as smelling like Moon Sparkle but I think they're very different. This is more tart and smells more like melon/cucumber. It's not as sugary sweet. Overall though its very strong and really fresh and pretty. I love it! It also feels pretty gender neutral being that it's not so sweet! Miami Blossom smells more similar to Moon Sparkle.

I tried it again and it's very fruity and sweet but also fresh, tropical and creamy. I like it when it gets lighter but I still don't think it's the best Escada fragrance. They should make it less sweet, tone down the alcohol-scent and work on the tart strawberry and pineapple scent so they can become more prominent.

Longevity & Sillage is very poor on this fragrance. The price I paid was not worth what I got from this perfume. I wish I could return it but I can’t. It smells nice when you first spray it but it dissipates SO fast. It’s pathetic honestly. I have better luck with other Escada frags. I think it might be due to age?

This is okay, but it feels like a worse version of Born In Paradise. Floral and fruity (most noticeably strawberries and pineapple), but the strong alcohol-y scent overpowers the rest of the notes. It also has zero depth, doesn't really ever settle down and can be kind of overpowering. Not my favorite.

This is VERY fresh and fruity. Stating power seems good, too. Compared to my other Escada perfumes, this one isn't a sweet/fruit bomb as I expected. This is very nice and fresh, with fruity notes. Better than I expected & totally recommend! It may be the best of Escada I've tried (and own)

Probably one of the best performances I’ve experienced on a fruity scent. I can really smell pineapple and strawberry in this and I feel watermelon smell. It’s really nice for summer days and nights. I’ve had it on every vacation I’m been on last three years, I love it.

Like a tropical colorful drink at the start of your night out. It's a multicolored cocktail. Syrupy sweet.There is nothing serious about this scent. I rarely have opportunity to wear it but I always have a great time when I do. Perfect for a night out, dancing!

Not my favorite escada but its not terrible either. It smells like some kind of fruity-citrusy alcoholic drink. I swear I had a drink that smelled like this before in the past LOL. I like it and will wear it but I definitely would not repurchase.

As usual, another smell from Escada that I really like. This one was a gift from my boyfriend for Christmas. Fruity, fun, and comforting. I only wish it lasted more then half an hour :/ It is like very expensive body spray.

Very melony! I paired it with B&BW Gingham and I like the combination very much, it pulls the violet and peach. Fresh and fun for the summer, but the longevity, as with many of the Escada summer fragrances, is brief.

Very fruity, very sweet. Truly tropical vibe. All in all, it is quite nice fragrance, creamy like body balm, but I think it would be better if it was less sweet... Too much sweetness is not good!

fresh and fruity, with a hint of synthetic/plastic-y trail if you smell long enough. Very straightforward scent, offers what's listed. Good for summer and spring and beach vacays

It smells like Sunny D orange strawberry juice. I really like this but I tried it on at the store and at max it lasted 1 hour with four sprays (3 on chest 1 on wrist).

A very fruity smell , this perfume is up my alley. The only down fall is that you have to re-apply because it does not last within 1 hour if lucky.

The notes seems ordinary. Have they used a real person on this perfume???

This is pure melon in a bottle! I get all honeydew melon at initial spray, then softly settles with kinda mix melon smell. Its sweet and fresh like a melon, not sickly! This will probably suit summertime very well! Unfortunately its winter and cold now, but on the hottest day in summer, I can imagine this will be okei as its quite fresh. Its for me a meh. It gets a little too soapy in a way. A little later, just about an hour, the smell is almost gone. It is not sweet, more on the fresh aquatic side, not worth the money imo. Do not blind buy is my advice

Doesn't last very long and when it dries down you don't smell anything anymore, not worth the purchase.

I sampled this at the department store today on a piece of card and took it home. I initially got a burst of sweet fruits and vanilla. 3 hours later and guess what? I still got exactly the same super sweet fruits and vanilla only much fainter. Pineapple infused with vanilla dominate while the strawberry trails behind whilst I could barely notice the blackcurrant and floral notes if any at all. Ultimately this has left me disappointed. I remember when ESCADA used to be renowned for making bespoke, high quality and sophisticated fruity florals each year. Unfortunately as the years passed the releases have gotten worse and worse. The general direction was towards fragrances with less flowers, less amber, less woods and more tropical fruits and vanilla instead thus resulting in one dimensional, sickly sweet, sticky compotes with no depth and character. The only offerings I have been able to enjoy after my beloved Tropical Punch (which wasn't sickly sweet at all despite the name!) was released were Ibiza Hippy and Cherry in the Air as they didn't go overboard with tropical fruits and vanilla!

Sometimes I wish we had a "neutral" option on here. While I didn't actively dislike this, saying I like it is a bit of a stretch. Turquoise summer is not what I expected at all based on the notes. I have a couple of samples and I'm glad I got them before giving in and blind buying. I get a little bit of strawberry, although if I didn't know it was a note I don't think I'd have been able to pick it out. It's really more of a kind of fruity-ish ambiguous smell. That would even be ok, except for the extremely strong soapy smell that overpowers it. I think they were going for a "clean" or "fresh" vibe, but this is just not really pleasant, and not what I look for in an escada perfume (or any for that matter). Another commenter compared it to a generic type victoria's secret scent, and I think that's a pretty good comparison. It smells kind of cheap also. I guess you could get away with wearing this as a casual day time scent, it's not actively gross, just nothing special at all. If I had bought this I would have been really unhappy.

This one was a big nope for me. It is fruity, very fruity, but the problem for me is that it is an artificial kind of fruity. The kind of fruity you find in candy (and if you are mexican just think about the pinaple popsicle by Vero and this is just it). It's very very sweet, as a candy. So to me (and the boyfriend) it just smelled like a candy shop. Or a popsicle. It is not, by any means, a disgusting scent or a bad scent, but to us it smelled like i melted a candy and decided to wear it all over me. On the good side it has been there for 6 hours and still going strong, it's got good sillage and the way it smelled at first spray is they way it still smells.

I am looking for a scent which has a strong strawberry note, but with a subtle, sophisticated touch. I know it can't be Escada's summer edition, but out of curiosity I tested Turquoise Summer. The opening is a juicy burst of strawberries. It intoxicated me for a while. The dry down was a disappointment: the strawberry note disappeared and my wrist smelled just like after I spray Guess Seductive I'm Yours. It is like two different fragrances in one bottle. And why 'turquoise'? I don't get the color. This is a very confusing scent. Last time Escada surprised me positively was with Cherry in the Air.

sadly this perfume didn't really do it for me. :( the first and only other escada i've ever smelled was moon sparkle and this just pales in comparison. imo it smells really cheap, there are no detectable base notes which for me makes this perfume lack depth or maturity...it literally just smells like a fruity wine spritzer for several minutes and then disappears completely. really - completely disappears, doesn't matter if i spray it onto damp skin or clothes or into my hair, it's gone within the hour. disappointing.

Tropical, check. Lots of fruit, check. Juicy, check. All the ingredients are there for creating a bull's eye fragrance but something went wrong halfway. It's like a cup of fruit tea with way too much sugar in it. Or really sticky candy. My all-time Escada favourite, Tropical Punch, was very different in comparison: authentic, upbeat, delicious, sparkling. This smells just cheap and synthetic despite of its posh packaging. Thanks but I'll pass this one.

I smelled this at kohls like 5 min ago, and I hate to say it but I'm very disappointed with it :( I wanted to like this one so bad, (butterflies are my thing :P ) but it reminded me more of island kiss than anything, which I strongly dislike. I disagree 100% that it smells anything like moon sparkle which is one of my favorites. I'll get it eventually for my collection, I already have roughly 22 different escadas. Can't like em all I suppose :/
