Yum me, Sunny!

I love this perfume, it is a delicious, coconutty gourmand, and it makes me feel like I am on summer vacation even though it's rainy, cold February. The floral note is indeed quite strong but it does dissipate, leaving behind the illusion of being on a tropical island surrounded by sweetness and coconuts. This is the second best Escada I've ever smelled since Marine Groove, which was magical.

This immediately smells like I'm wearing sunscreen on a beach in the tropics! It's such a summery scent and the cream literally makes it smell like a sweet type of sunscreen. If you like sweet, and a little artifical scents, I think you'll like this. I've been wearing this day time in the middle of winter and it makes me long for warmer days!

i REALLY love this!! i only had a tester and i was super super sad when it ran out. A perfectly sweet tropical fruity mix. It's not too cloying and one of the best coconut scents i've smelled! But if you're not into sweet smells this migth be a little too much. Definately going to buy sometime!

I've finally got this one and I LOVE it. Haven't purchased Escada in decades but this one stole my heart. Candied passionfruit in the heart and these coconut and cream in the base are quite pickable as well. All notes are detectable at the same time. Beautiful and addictive balance.

I bought this today thinking that I would love it but the flower note in this smells too strong to me. The perfume still has a fruitiness to it too with the coconut finally coming out after the flower note starts to dissipate a little but the problem is that the floral lingers and never goes away. I was expecting a delicious passion fruit coconut explosion but this is not that. I typically love Escada perfumes and own most but this one is a failure. The flower note kills this perfume for me. As I rode the subway after spraying it at the store, I attributed the strong floral note that I was smelling to the Marc Jacobs one that I also sprayed on myself because his stuff tends to be more floral and I was relieved thinking that I didn't purchase that one because it stunk, only to find out later that the culprit was actually the Escada perfume that I brought home!! What a horrible, expensive surprise!! Yum Me Sunny - also a tacky name by the way!

The sillage quickly retreats into an intimate projection and, with a faint fruity nuance lingering until the very end, gradually transforms into a predominantly creamy base of ylang-ylang, coconut, and cream. The sweetness here is subtle and sunlit, avoiding the territory of a literal dessert gourmand. The composition carries traces of synthetic accords, and at times one can even detect pale hints of bitterness. Overall, however, it remains simple and pleasant, fitting perfectly into the idea of an effortless fragrance with a distinctly holiday-like character.

Yummy tropical fruit cocktail! There are definitely more notes than the listing here lets you believe. I also smell some mango and pineapple, not too dissimilar to Bali Paradise. I would not mind a bit more sweetness and a bit less musk, but all in all a typical Escada summer fragrance you can never go wrong with, if you like that playful tropical vibe.

This reminds me of Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen, which I like. It is better than Aloha Beaches by Miss Kay, which has the same feel of sunscreen and summer memories.

I tried this in store and was disappointed. I love Taj sunset by Escada and thought this perfume might have a similar vibe... but this is not fresh and juicy at all to my nose. Super sweet, heavy gourmand. It does not feel smooth either which I expected from the coconut note. I smell something like cherry and candy. Does not smell like Escada at all to me.

You’ll notice a pattern in my reviews - I love yellow florals. Which is exactly why it’s a bit disappointing when they don’t get the space to actually shine. In this case, the ylang-ylang feels overshadowed. I understand the direction, it’s meant to be a tropical summer scent, but it leans a little too sweet for my taste. The coconut and passionfruit I don't actually mind, just let the ylang-ylang speak too. If you want to smell like a sugary tropical cocktail, then great, but this could have been a more interesting yellow floral moment.

This is precisely the type of scent that I can not tolerate. It opens with a realistic, sweet, juicy passion fruit note (similar to peach), and continues with very sweet ylang-ylang, eventually morphing into yet more sweetness, with an abundance of nondescript sugary synthetic notes. So, this is strictly for lovers of uber-sweet, slightly tropical scents. For me, it's a hard pass.

What a gorgeous tropical beauty... and the name is so cool too. I was at Chemist Warehouse, there was no tester for this, but I loved the fun packaging and the name...
