Gourmand Delight Botanical Perfume

All the notes mentioned are here. On me this starts off with a feint whiff of the almonds and quickly I can smell the tangerine and neroli notes. Cocoa in the background with beeswax and vanilla and amber! This is the 2nd of Amanda's perfumes I have tried and I do appreciate natural perfumery. BUT..............it has to be done WELL to demand £186+ for 1oz of scent! In my humble opinion - this is just a mish-mash of notes all fighting with each other - a veritable shopping bag of different items all chucked into a pot for dinner with absolutely no thought as to what will feature on the palate! It really doesn't work! Of course it will smell gourmand with the notes involved here - you will pick up a feint whiff of almond, or tangerine, or vanilla, or honey!!! But that is just the reason why this doesn't work - a feint whiff of this, that or the other without any structure! Ask yourself would you really want to eat all your favourite desserts together on one plate at one time? Sounds like fun but the reality is far different from the idea!
