I fell for this fragrance instantly. One wear was enough for me to order a full bottle the moment I finished my sample, which, incidentally, arrived alongside Bois Impérial, still the best spicy, herbal woody fragrance I’ve encountered to date. That should give you an idea of the calibre we’re dealing with here. My experience of this scent differs quite a bit from the dominant profile listed on Fragrantica, where woody, fruity, and citrus notes take centre stage. To my nose, this is first and foremost a fresh, aromatic fig fragrance, supported by soft woods, leafy greenness, and a subtle creamy undertone. What makes it truly special is how it evolves. Over the hours, it unfolds beautifully, and the way it behaves shifts depending on the temperature, almost like parallel versions of the same perfume. On warm spring days, the fig turns gently jammy with a slight tart edge. In winter, it feels lighter and more aquatic: aromatic, clean, and fresh, with a whisper of citrus that never fully reveals itself. Not lemon, not grapefruit, not yuzu, just something bright, airy, and quietly uplifting. This fragrance is what sparked my love affair with fig perfumes, and it’s easy to see why. Everything is in perfect proportion. The citrus stays firmly in a supporting role, lifting the fig without stealing focus. The leafy facet adds depth without becoming sharp or overbearing. Nothing shouts; everything contributes. Much like the complexity and originality of Bois Impérial, this feels like a technically accomplished fragrance crafted by a true master, and you can smell that level of intention. The ingredients feel carefully chosen and precisely placed. Where the two differ is in temperament: this one is softer, more mannered. “Congenial” is the word that keeps coming to mind. It’s a completely safe blind buy and perfectly suited to office wear. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh, aromatic, realistic fig fragrance, one that captures both fruit and leaf, feels complete from start to finish, and is unisex enough to work beautifully on almost anyone.

I discovered this fragrance when I got my discovery set from Essential Parfums. I have to say that at first, I didn’t fall in love with it. It wasn’t until I tried it several times for the office or daily chores that I started to appreciate it. It is totally unisex to me. People reviewed it as spring summer fragance but I can definitely wear it in winter too, as it has a cozy, welcoming, and creamy vibe, which I think comes from the sandalwood and possibly the benzoin. I also get this earthy scent from the fig and black tea, and I also detect a hint of citrus, mainly mandarin, in the background. However, it’s not too prominent, which helps support the main characters of the fragrance: fig and sandalwood. There’s something about it that feels dense, like there’s a lot going on, and all the notes are fighting to stand out. But the result is fabulous, as you get this creamy, earthy, and subtly fruity scent. It projects well and has good sillage. I can also see myself wearing this in the fall, as I associate fragrances with colors, and I feel this one pairs perfectly with soft brown, pastel and white clothes. Honestly, I think it’s versatile enough for any season, and it has become my signature scent. In my opinion, it’s suitable for all occasions. It’s elegant, sophisticated, and welcoming at the same time. It’s inoffensive, and I’ve received compliments and people asking me for the name. Highly recommended.

I got this from a subscription service, and my expectations were low--I saw the price point of the bottle and made a few assumptions. However, I was quite wrong. I don't usually like black tea notes on my skin, but this is a gorgeous perfume. Fig Infusion is an office-friendly, dry, woodsy concoction of fig, tea and a bit of sweetness and florals that sing in the background. It doesn't lean soapy on my skin, and I sort of smell like an expensive hotel lobby. With 1 spritz, I do have a bit of scent bubble 2 hours later, and that's nice projection and longevity imo. Now, one caveat--I feel like this smells better in the air than when I smell my skin. On my skin, the tea note leans rubbery, like a wet floral note. However, in the air, it's just beautiful, so I'll forgive it. I should mention that my signature scent is DS& Durga's Debaser, and I find this a nice companion. I plan to buy a full bottle of this one--I'm an experienced collector and have never experienced this particular vibe, so it's a great addition to my collection. The BDK line hasn't worked for me in the past, so I have not tried Gris Charnel as one reviewer mentioned.

I have become truly obsessed with this perfume for the past couple of months. Big word of warning: let your new bottles macerate!!! A lot of what I read about the sharp opening, lack of fig note etc, is due to poor maceration imo. Best advice I can give here is - get a decant from a person, who has had the perfume for a while. There's considerable difference between my 2ml tester, that I had gotten from a lady (meaning it had been sitting for a while) and have since used up completely, and the brand new bottle I bought last month. The opening is sharper, the longevity and silage are way worse and the overall blend is much less smooth (which is perfectly logical). For best maceration results, you need to spray out about 5-10 ml to get some oxygen (NOT A LOT) in the bottle and then leave it in a dark, cool place to do it's magic (3-6 months for the best results). Once that happens, you will have the smoothest, most addictive fig and black tea scent, that's fresh and green at the same time as slightly creamy and smooth.

I tried Fig Infusion from a sample I took to Orlando in April 2024, and it was love at first sniff. After buying the full bottle, I was thrilled with my purchase. The sweetness of fig, the soft floral notes, the delicate tea, and the creamy sandalwood, balanced by fresh citrus, make it perfume heaven for me—fig and tea perfection. This fragrance is wearable, versatile, and perfect for daytime. While it's unisex, it leans slightly feminine, and even my husband loves it. If you're into green scents and figs, you absolutely need to try this. It's distinct from Philosykos (much greener and more unisex) and stands apart from Gris Charnel by BDK with its iris and incense notes. Fig lovers could easily have all these fig fragrances. Figuier Eden is on my wishlist, so I can't compare it yet. Fig Infusion is a steal for quality and originality at around $90 for 100 ml. Once again, Nathalie Lorson delivers. I’d love to own more of Nathalie Lorson's fragrances!!

Upfront I got bright figgy citrus but with the dry down I lost the citrus. it's a tad powdery for my liking, but creamy and ripe and still really wearable. It actually reminds me a bit of Dead Air by Oddity but a little stripped down. Long lasting for me! *I came back to add that this scent has grown on me so so much. Maybe it's due to wearing in hot weather - I no longer find it too powdery. Now I really get the super lactonic figgy-ness - it's delicious and girly even? but still green and earthy. This one has made its place in my rotation :) **I came back once more to declare this has become an absolute love, maybe my favourite ever. When I'm not wearing it I actually MISS it. It's complex and morphs slowly over the span of the day but never loses its essence. It feels like a hug.

The only downside is this slight plasticky undertone that comes through, especially in the drydown. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it holds it back from being perfect. This is one of my most-used fragrances, and I wear it almost daily. It's definitely one of the best from Essential Parfums, right up there with Bois Impérial. Rating: 8.8 / 10

This was such a pleasant surprise. Honestly, nothing like what I was expecting or imagining based on the note list. It’s probably the freshest fig fragrance I’ve ever tried. It’s incredibly easy to wear and about as gender-neutral as it gets. There’s a woody base, but it’s clean and airy rather than heavy. The sweetness is definitely there, yet it never turns cloying. What really stands out to me, though, is a strong tea-like note, and I absolutely loved it. It slightly reminds me of a mix between The Matcha 26 by Le Labo and Ichnusa by Profumum Roma, but only in spirit. It still feels very much its own thing and quite unique in its style. Longevity is great (it lasts all day) but it never becomes overwhelming or offensive. Just smooth, fresh, and quietly confident.

the dry down is insaneeeeee and is what made me get a full bottle. it starts very green, almost sharp. honestly didn't like it very much and still don't really haha. it's very like invigorating though? but around 30 minutes later is when the black tea and sandalwood come through, and it just gets better and better as the hours go by!!! it gets more warm and complex, but feels very grounding. it's very natural smelling. i think the fig also ripens as time passes by, there's a fruity/milky sweetness. i think it's super unisex, i kept going back & forth between leaning slightly masculine/feminine each time i wore it. lasts for hours(!) but is pretty close to the skin. good everyday scent. curious how it'll perform when the weather gets warmer!

One of the stars of the show of the Essential Parfums line. It opens very citrusy and smells a lot like figs and woods, a bit of green; the scent feels natural and familiar, like walking in a garden you have been to countless times. The dry-down is more woody and more muted, but very pleasant. The performance and projection are excellent without becoming overwhelming. And I would say it is completely unisex. It is not as complex or rich as the Hermes line of Les Jardin, nor as fig as Diptyque Philosykos, nor an actual green fragrance, but it has a bit of everything and it is on the same line as the rest of Essential Parfums: Woody, simple but rich, clean and pleasant, natural, and beautiful. 4.5/5

I love the smell of actual figs and green leaves, but I haven’t had much success with fig fragrances as they tend to lean either too green, like mown grass, or too milky and sweet. Fig Infusion is a winner. Citrus and tea stand out more than any part of the fig plant to me, although the fig leaf is certainly there. I may be able to pick up some fig fruit, but it’s quite subtle. The softness of sandalwood is essential to rounding out the sharp greenness of the fig leaf and the bitterness of the tea and citrus and works well to generate the idea of fig fruit. Really intriguing and comforting fragrance that is more dynamic and evolving than most of the EP line.

Bought the EP discovery kit and this one along with Bois Imperial immediately stood out. This is a green and fruity fragrance that doesn't smell like grass, other "green centered" fragrances I tried just smell like grass and not in a pleasant way, but here the greenness is very manageable and works really well with the smooth sandalwood. The fig note is juicy and deep, and the sandalwood actually smells smooth and high quality unlike other sandalwood fragrances I tried. Beautiful spring/summer fragrance, my only gripe with it is that it's a pretty weak projector and longevity is below average, after 4 hours on my skin it's barely a skin scent.

This is... I struggle to find words that could do this justice, and I'm serious when I say that. It evolves so elegantly while still respecting this threshold of gentleness. I say when I wear this, I don't have to worry about a thing, I can just be, floating in the world, weightless like a feather, and I believe it's this unique quality that draws people in, because Fig Infusion simply elevates you, melting away your earthly bounds. For me, it's silky fig adorned with freesia, orange blossom and a dusting of tea and woods, so charmingly dancing around each other that leaves you enchanted, with endless respect for Nathalie Lorson... <3 <3

i got a sample of this from scentsplit and i was so obsessed that i immediately bought a full bottle- i was looking for a solid fig scent for spring/summer, and this is THE one! it's kind of like a fresher, more citrusy rendition of Gris Charnel by BDK- sweet juicy fig, black tea, some mellow spices, delicate florals to round it out. but then Fig Infusion has this bright mandarin aspect that makes it so nice for warmer weather. there's also a resinous quality from the benzoin that i love on the drydown. extremely wearable, unisex, and a more ~ripe~ fig version of Diptyque's Philosykos imo- would definitely recommend for fig lovers!

such a beautiful fig scent. i’m very picky when it comes to fig because it’s either too sweet or too green (and that’s a recurring criticism I have, especially with philosykos, which I love but can only wear on very specific days honestly, i don’t know why). it opens very fresh and airy, maybe a tiny bit too pungent for my taste, but that fades pretty quickly and then it transitions into a gorgeous woody, creamy skin scent with subtle hints of black tea. this is probably one of my favorite essential parfums scents, along with divine vanille, and i think it might become my favorite fig fragrance after womanity, alongside fig porn.

Beautiful fig scent. It immediately reminded me of the matcha 26 because of the fig fruit sweetness. The matcha is a bit sweeter and creamier though with a bit of a Turkish delight vibe to me , whereas fig infusion smells more a bit realistic fig scent with some more green and woodiness. I'd say fig infusion is more unisex.. Not as close to philosykos, which is much greener as the leaves are prominent. But if you thought philosykos is too green this would be a good bet. Also the price is very good value for the quality you're getting here. Essential parfums in general is high quality niche for less cost

The opening is a nice, almost milky combination of sandalwood, bergamot and fig leaves rubbed in-between fingers. I'm not really big on tomato leaf/fig leaf scents, but I will say this is quite nice as the creamy quality (think Dove body milk) leaves more of a feel of lightly scented body cream than straight up leaves and dirt, making me feel somewhat clean. It reminds me a bit of Bal d'Afrique. Stays pretty linear throughout and is quite comforting. Good lasting power, but shifts to a skin scent relatively quickly, not weak, but sort of middle-of-the-road strength. I like it.

Posting another review after wearing this fragrance for 1.5 years. I have a theory that you get complimented on fragrance when 1. it's a crowd pleasing composition, 2. it aligns with your personality. In my case, the second scenario is true. I had a girl shout "It's you!" and ask me what I was wearing in the bathroom at the Florence and the Machine concert because she had smelled me walking past the merch line. It seems to match my vibe, and when I wear this I usually get noticed, even though it's not that loud compared to modern-day fare like Delina, BR540, etc.

I really love this one! It's a true unisex perfume that changes slightly depending on where you spray it. It turns more green on the skin and more warm and cozy on clothes. I find myself reaching for it a lot when I want to smell fresh but not sweet. I don't get much citrus fruits from this one personally but I kind of like it that way anyway. It's a perfect mix of fig, tea and woody notes with an undertone of green notes. It's not as creamy as Philosykos and not as green as Fico Nero, but it's more warm and fresh than both of them. It's really lovely.

Incredible fragrance. It has this gritty fig/sandalwood combo that is truly one of the best things I've ever smelled. When I say gritty i mean the way it fills your nose as you breath in. I've never been one to use a fragrance as a "sleep scent", but this one has changed my mind. I might just start to spray it on my pillow. I don't feel like it's very green, more woody, fruity, gritty, fig. The only negative is the projection seems to be minimal, longevity is maybe 4 hours. If this lasted longer it would be my favorite of all time by a long shot.

This is beautiful. There are layers to it, the fig is there, but so is the tea and woody notes. There's some warmth. I'd say it's completely unisex. Wearable in warmer month but can be used on moodier weather as well. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's like Parisian Musc by Matiere Premiere and Bal d'Afrique had a baby. Wearable, comforting, yet not basic in any way. I think it's really hard to go wrong with Essential Parfums as long as you stick to notes that you like. They provide excellent perfumery at a very comfortable price point.

ahhh!!! i love this sm. fig & tea & fresh. not particularly spicy, i would not say this has a lot of depth but it's a nice cozy fresh frag. GREAT longevity, i can smell it on me after 8-10 hrs. the tea just blooms so nice in the dry down. this is my everyday scent atm---ik this is mainly worn for spring/summer but i've been pairing it with philosophy's fresh cream lotion in the winter and it helps it along for the winter season. this is quite affordable for a niche brand too. not a safe blind buy though

Imagine if gris charnel by bdk was a fresher, brighter fragrance. This amps up the fig in that scent, and amps down the tea and powdery sweetness. The fig in here, like with gris charnel, is quite aquatic, creamy and soft, rather than being overly fruity and harsh. It's a very unique 'spring-summer' fragrance, which takes a different route from your typical citrus freshie. Overall, I really enjoy this scent, and would definitely rate it as one of my favorite fresh fragrances. 7.5/10 imo

I must be broken, anyone who’s been in a b & q will know the smell I’m talking about but to me it’s like when you first go inside b & q. A bit of green from the plants by the door, a bit of wood from the wood cutting area, a bit of a sharp paint smell. I do get a very mild tea note but I’m not getting a fig fruit note.... I weirdly like it, I’ll need to try it a few more times but it might be full bottle worthy just because it’s so unique compared to anything else I’ve got or tried.

I don't get the comparisons to Philosykos at all they are entirely different fragrances. Philosykos is more of a true fig scent, very green like you take two fresh leaves and rub them tight together and smell your fingers afterwards. Personally not my thing as I don't want to smell like chlorophyll. Fig infusion has some sweet fig touches but with sandalwood, tea and wood background. I'd say fig infusion is entirely unisex, creamy and mass pleasing. Solid fragrance from the house.

From first inhale fig infusion for me was strange, unclear and it confused me. But the more I smell it the more I realised it. When it escaped my skin I started to smell it from my leather coat and really appreciated it. It reminds me of serenity, nature and wealth. The first fig scent I have ever tried and from this I started my journey to fig scents. Another example of nice fig for me is Agatho Parfum - 195 a.C. but that is too expensive, so I preferred this one. tha

Essential Parfums cannot stop making hits. Think of this as the brother of Thè Noir 29 - fig, wood, and tea, but done in a completely different way. If The Noir 29 is the rainy day version, this is the sunny day one. Perfect for spring and summer. In my opinion, the tea in the drydown is more dominant than the fig in this fragrance. If you like tea fragrances, try this one out. But a natural, slightly green fig does very much shine in the beginning.

This is a great daily wearable fragrance. It 100% reminds me of Le Labo The Noire 29 but less woody and more fig forward feminine. After the first 30m and into hour 2 it is a hit of sweet - which maybe a bit cloying, but if you hang in with this fragrance it dries down to a wonderfully feminine v of TN 29. Light on the wood. floral, fig and tea forward. Amazing longevity and pleasant sillage. For the price it is totally worth it.

I so often find out that perfumes I am obsessed with are done by master perfumer Nathalie. What a genius. This is a salty vanilla fig, not overly sweet, that sits close to the skin. I just wish it were stronger, but that is not the time we are in given so many chemicals being outlawed that make fragrances fill up a room, and that is probably a good thing. I will respray happily. Fig gives me happy dreams.

My favourite offering from this house and one of my favourite fig scents. This is such a nice but also provocative fig scent, that is giving me slight tingle on the nose like there is some ground pepper and mint in the front but I guess that's the black tea note playing tricks on me. I went through entire bottle and I will definitely buy another, it is just so pleasing to wear.

Not a sweet fig and only a touch green and woody but not overpoweringly so which I very much appreciate,,has that skin scent intimacy going on, along with a citrusy brightness and the milky fig / creamy sandalwood rolls around it all. I really love this. I love fig scents and this is sophisticated and not overbearing in its green-ness or milkyness and perfect for spring summer.

This perfume is the perfect fig scent for me and the perfect fresh scent. As someone that doesn't like floral perfumes, it's difficult to find a fresh perfume that I like. This is the perfect everyday fresh/crisp scent. Very long lasting, beautiful blended fragrance. It is usually my go to fresh perfume. Definitely something I would repurchase/ always have in my collection.

I can easily say that this is the only perfume in my collection that calms me. Literally I keep every fragrance on the shelf, but I keep this one next to me on the nightstand. I want to smell it often. Longevity is 5-6 hours...After that I can feel it as a skin scent...About the sillage, it makes a smell bubble around you in one meter. Absolutely I love this one!!!

This is a great fig fragrance. Giving me Gris Charnel vibes but less sweet. Out of the whole sample collection this one and Bois is my faves. The rest are not my thing. It has a good projection as I put this on 2 hours ago and it smells like I just put it on. If you like fig fragrances and you like Gris Charnel, this will be for you.

Been looking for a fig fragrance for a while and this is JUST RIGHT. Right down the middle. Not overly creamy and sweet which can get a bit cloying. Light and refreshing with just enough sweetness and woodiness. Looking forward to wearing this in spring and summer. Definitely try this out if you like fig.

A favorite of mine, it's light and creamy, very comforting. My boyfriend always says that it smells kind of weird when sprayed on paper. But when i put it on my skin it's an other story ! It's a good balance, it has this touch of green that make a little bit tanguy and cut the overall creaminess

Updating my last review: I wore today and the performance was crazy, idk what other people are talking about. I put it on at 9am and still smell it at 12am. I also got a complement from a friend sitting next to me at hour 13. The scent bubble isn't that big but def lasts a long time on my skin.

Smells sweet on me, but the sweetness is balanced out by the sandalwood notes, at least in the beginning. After it dries down it becomes a wonderful sweet fig, not too green which i like. I personally like this one more than Philosykos. The longevity is also pretty good, happy i bought this :)

Absolutely love it! It's like BDK Gris Charnel and Lataffa Musamam White Intense had a baby. Opens with green and a bit bitter but very realistic fig and smooth sandalwod. As it dries down there is a creamy and powdery milkiness that beautifully blends with the white flowers. 🫶🏻

To me this smells like what I would imagine a cartoon fig to smell like. Sweet and bright. Then its more woody and green but the fig lasts a surprisingly long time. Good easy scent to spray on a spring day when you want to smell clean, ripe, and interesting. Great value, 8/10.

Smells like biting into a fresh fizzy fig leaf, with all of it's positives and none of the negatives. It has the texture of the little hairs on the leaf (like the skin of peaches). This feeling is very similar to fleur de pêche by L'Artisan Parfumeur.

Opens up a little citrusy, but dries down into a gorgeous fig and sandalwood combo. The fig gives the fragrances its sweetness but sandalwood balances it out. Overall, its not too sweet nor too dry. An amazing creation by Nathalie Lorson.

The reviews of this saying it’s green and boring steered me away from even trying it. I received a sample by chance today and I love it! It’s sweet and creamy fig, I don’t get the green notes or anything masculine.

Creamier and a bit warmer than Philosykos. I also think it’s a good value for the money. I love the woody facets as well and I think it’s truly unisex.

This is a fantastic perfume. The fig note here is really smooth and beautifully done. I liked this more than Gris Charnel or Phylosykos.
