The Musc Extrait

This ain't your grandma's clean white musk. This stuff is THE perfect clean white musk. Clean and well blended. Not screechy and cloying like many others. While the notes mention honey, cinnamon, and ginger there is no food like sweetness. It's sweet like a fresh flower. It's hard to pick out one note. A chord of aromatic, woody, powdery, and earthy. This is how I image luxury hotel linens smell (I'm too poor to actually know). Extreamly versatile, could be worn anywhere, any time, any season. Dressed up or casual. Office or tinder hookup. Has lasted me over 8 hours and still trucking with a moderate sillage. Not quite a skin scent. subtle and strong at the same time. The extract concentration flexes in the original edp.

Wow, this is fantastic—very sexy. It's expensive, but I bought it anyway. I haven't tested the performance yet, but I hope the projection and longevity justify the price. Update: Wow, the performance is incredible. It lasts for days on clothes. I also get a distinct cucumber-like vibe, which I think is just how my nose interprets clean musk. It feels truly unisex, equally suitable for men and women. I was hoping for a more masculine-leaning dry down, but it's still an excellent fragrance.

Way more complex and longer lasting than the EDP (which tends to disappear in about 10 minutes). Its very nice. Interesting enough to call itself a niche, long lasting, and cozy. I did not like the EDP, but this one definitely gets the job done. A lil expensive for 35 ml, but ig thats fine with the concentration. High quality mild spicy, balsamic, and musky. Still airy and clean. Terrific job by Essential Parfums. Unisex.

Wonderful, simple, insanely clean. Unlike most white musk it doesn't lean too far into any single note, the powdery and woody scents mix together perfectly with the ambery and floral aspects without any being overbearing. While not my typical kind of perfume, I think if you are to go for a CLEAN white musk styled perfume, go for this one.

This is so my cup of tea, a casual and warm ambered musk with something bright and almost fruity in the opening. Very inoffensive, office and everyday appropriate. The sillage is quite intimate though. I also bagged a compliment from my fraghead husband which is notable and rare!

I love the original after the shower and before bed. Amazing clean scent. The Extrait also delivers and I somehow love it even more! Went through my sample in a few days. It's a little more complex but still something I would reach for all the time!

I don't know how to describe this because this fragrance left me mind blown, its so unique, so good and with good performance. Its wierdly clean, wierldy floral and sweet with that sandalwood base

Overall, this is an elegant, modern musk—minimalist in style but nuanced in execution. Perfect for those who appreciate subtlety, comfort, and understated sophistication.

I really wanted to bathe in this all summer, but The Musc clearly doesn't want to be near me. It’s the ultimate disappearing act—gone in under 10 minutes. From what I can smell, it's really lovely but no discernable notes jump out at me. It’s hard to believe this is an extrait given the total lack of performance. While I usually appreciate a subtle skin scent, this goes beyond "intimate" and straight to "invisible." Total chemistry clash.

It's the gentlest and most innocent musk, that surprisingly lasts (8-10 hours). The sillage gets intimate after 4 hours, but its presence remains until the end of the day, people will still smell you as you travel and if you get heated throughout the day it'll bring it back to life. I whiff my scent consistently throughout the day until it ends. - Cinnamon and Ginger provide a spicy warmth - The Ambrofix and Ambrarome make an ambergris facet that comes off mineral and soapy - Patchouli and Sandalwood together smell like dry chamomile flowers with added sweetness from the Honey

I get MUCH more baby powder out of this than I do a clean musk smell. It does smell clean still, but more freshly changed baby than freshly washed laundry.
