Very Cherry

Opening door number 7 in the Essnce advent calendar was an absolute joy, my first cherry fragrance ever! I adore cherry scents, and even opening the lid of the tester released a delightful burst of cherry. This perfume truly reminds me of one of Tom Ford’s cherry fragrances, yet in some ways it offers even more depth. There’s a warm spiciness from cinnamon, wood and musk that adds richness, while sweetness and top note of bitter almond extract, which has that cherry-like nuance, make it playful and intriguing. Dark, ripe cherries are definitely front and center as well. Overall, it feels like a wonderfully complex and much more affordable alternative to a Tom Ford cherry perfume. A surprisingly refined and enjoyable scent!

Inspired by but not Lost Cherry dupe. Tried them side by side. Very Cherry is softer vanilla sweet cherry. Lost cherry is definitely sour cherry and freshly sharpened on the edges. Love them both and I dare to say that Very cherry feels better in my nostrils but perhaps a fall and spring scent while Lost cherry I would like to have in a warm sunny day/evening. Very cherry is a gourmand very much like an Amarena cocktail cherry with syrup to enjoy on ice cream or in a summer drink. Very delicious and satisfying.

This is very similar to lost cherry, but i think its less medicinal and more sweet. I really like that. And i would say it lasts as long as the tom ford as well. If you like more vanilla, you can mix this with a vanilla perfume and it works really good.

A flat cherry. Don't know how else to explain it. It's like it only has two notes. Also - it's oily on my skin. This is a odd one.

Good creamy soft base but just dont line the cherry top that much

Smells somewhat nice at first - like a boozy cherry: reminds me of Polish Wiśniówka or Swedish Solbacka cherry wine. As the booziness settles down, it becomes more almondy. Then it develops into this weird wallpaper glue scent with a hint of toothpaste on my skin. It stays boozy on the clothes but the scent disappears after like half an hour.

Not a fan! Smells very synthetic and the almond is way too prominent for my liking. It gives a nauseous and headachey feel.
