Bronze Goddess L'Eau de Lumière

I love Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche - it's an epitome of a summer and beach vacation type of scent. I came across this new flanker at Saks and I was excited to try it. It didn't disappoint! It is different from the original - it is definitely a lighter, fresher and brighter version. I would say it's a predominantly fizzy light floral scent with the tropical, beachy, Bronze Goddess DNA in the background. Green citrus accords are noticeable. Tuberose is hardly detectable and not overwhelming. If the original one was too dense for you, try this. I like the iridescent bottle. Overall, it's a nice release. One of better and more memorable fragrances I've tried recently.

This Bronze Goddess flanker is rapidly becoming my favourite of the entire range. It's irridescent bottle completely fits with the character of this beautiful, understated scent. The citrus is immediately present, and continues throughout; the tuberose, frangipani and coconut are present, but a softer presence. I expected the longevity to be poorer than other flankers in this line, but on me this is not the case. It also lasts an age on clothing. Whilst I love all the other BG variants that I have tried, this flanker walks a slightly less obvious path, and is all the better for it.

I didn't think I would like this from what others wrote, but I do. It smells lovely, a sophisticated fragrance with a core of the old bronze goddess, but a lighter lemon leaf tone and some frangipane as the main note, but I still get the suntan lotion coconut vibe. Plus the bottle is so gorgeous.

I wanted to test BG Nuit but found this instead. And what a surprise.. I loved it from first sniff! Beautiful tropical coconut - white flowers combo. Might be reminescent of D&G the only one intense or Alien Goddess, but Eau de Lumière is on the lighter side, with its citrus notes and the frangipani. Beware that the coconut note is milky in here, while in other fragrances it is sometimes watery (like Coconut Fizz) and other times dry (like Crystal Noir). Anyway, any version of coconut is a go to for me haha! 8/10

An airy floral, brightened by citrus in the initial spray, with a soft background of creamy coconut. A touch mossy/salty as it fades out, with only the slightest hint of sunscreen. A really lovely scent for hot summer days, but longevity isn’t great.

It's missing something. It just too light. I was hoping this was going to be better than Azur but it's not. There is nothing grabbing me. I will keep going with it though

I blind bought this and it's going right back. To my nose this is a light, white floral, mainly jasmine with an alcohol opening and a very soft, buttery amber base. It's nothing new and extremely weak and short lasting. I think I will stick with the Eau Fraiche as it's just divine. I am sure many will enjoy this but it's just too generic for my taste and performs like a body mist.

I've tried to wear this one to the gym cause the opening is very nice and fresh, not strong either. But there's something that bothers me after a while and I'm not sure what it is, I think something doesn't agree with my body chemistry and when I start sweating I can smell something almost urinal? Doesn't happen with other perfumes I usually wear to the gym lol

I think it’s similar to BG Azur, and somewhat like Eau Fraiche, not my preference. I like BG EDP best with warm undertone with no notes that clash. The EDP bottle looks better. L’Eau de Lumiere’s bottle looks cheap.

I was super surprised with this fragrance as I planned on returning it thinking I was not going to like it but just in case I bought 2 bottles lol.I liked last years Azur version but something was missing in the fragrance for me so I gave it to my friend.My favorite fragrances are tropical white florals and this is exactly that.If you do not like tuberose do not blind buy this fragrance.This opens with some citrus and a hint of pepper but quickly morphs into a beautiful tropical white floral with an undertone of coconut or a lactonic vibe. If you were thinking this is going to be a coconut dominant Fragrance it is not. It is all about the white tropical flowers. The coconut milk just adds a creaminess to the whole Fragrance, but it does not really smell like suntan lotion.This is a luminous airy tropical floral But don’t let the airiness fool you. This has really good longevity and I have dry skin.This is also a very solar fragrance. It reminds me of being by the beach in the sunset, smelling white flowers, all around you in the breeze. I actually prefer this Fragrance to my Fragrance Dubois Oud Jaune Intense Which I put up for sale on eBay, which was way over priced and the longevity horrendous. I am not a Fragrance snob, but I have been just as disappointed in Niche fragrances, as I have been in designer fragrances.This is a beautiful breezy white tropical floral with an amber tuberose dry down and solar touches! Gorgeous!

I've always felt that Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche is a beautiful summer perfume in climates with a very mild summer (or, sometimes, no summer at all). Maybe some people in tropical locales out there love it, but for me, it always felt too sweet and cozy for hot weather, but just not right for cooler seasons. This is the Bronze Goddess for me. I'm a citrus gal, and this has some citrus, but it's still quite sweet. What it also has is a watery frangipani and an earthy moss note that really makes it. Moss, in small doses, smells like clean, sun-warmed, slightly sweaty skin to me, and in this it's just enough. (In big doses, all I get is B.O. tang, but thankfully the moss is a background character here). We're heading into our warm spring/early summer season, and I'm excited to wear this!

Creamy, airy, light, sheer, tropical. Not too heavy on either tuberose or coconut, I’m rather getting a jasmine-frangipani tropical paradise kind of feeling. I don’t find it that similar to BG Azur, which is heavy on the neroli to me. Perhaps try before you buy, but if you like white florals like me I reckon this is a safe blind buy. An easy summer reach that doesn’t smell like suntan lotion. Compared to LVEB Soleil Cristal, that one to me is heavy on the ylang ylang and vanilla and much denser than BG L’Eau Lumière, also it veers to suntan lotion territory. Alien Goddess Intense again is denser in my opinion, with emphasis on amber-vanilla. BG Azur to me is sharper, not as smooth and creamy or as well blended as L’Eau Lumière. Haven’t tried the others in the “Reminds me of”-section.

So I blind got it because too impatient. Upon spraying I can smell the lemon leaf it’s very fresh and very light. Lemon leaf/citrus vibe stays throughout the other notes if there they are very soft. It’s a soft fresh skin scent with poor lasting power. It has nothing to do with the rest of the line. I’m not sure if the name means water but it is accurate a pretty scent for daytime that you will have to top off but nothing you have to run to the store and get. I expected fresh but with more of a punch.

Sundress season in a bottle! This is nothing like original Bronze Goddess EDP or Eau Fraiche to me. L'Eau De Lumiere is a light airy floral, brightened by the lemon leaf and mandarin, with the softest touch of creamy coconut. Tropical without being sunscreen like, which I greatly appreciate.

The original Bronze Goddess, but with lemony, citrus notes and a tropical floral in the foreground. Long lasting on me, going for several hours now. Really nice, summery fragrance, not too heavy. Beautiful iridescent bottle.

Smells so much like Trussardi Donna. Less citrus opening. I had to do a double take, or double sniff? If you have one you do not need the other.

Very heavy white floral, strong citrus in the opening, no coconut whatsoever.
