Glimmer

This radiant scent truly GLIMMERS off of your skin, it's creamy, it's sparkling, it's sweet, it's got that clean patchouli core that carries it out into the world with you. I just couldn't WAIT until I was able to talk about this fragrance publicly. Yes, it's that good. It brings a nostalgic memory to the forefront of my brain each time I spray it. I find myself reaching for it so effortlessly & that is truly saying something.

Glimmer delivers a straightforward, highly mass-appealing composition built on a core foundation of ripe berries, soft red florals, and comforting warm woods. The opening kicks off with a bright, undeniably delicious blast of sweet berries paired with a lively, singing red floral accord. As the initial fruity pop begins to settle, a smooth vanilla note takes center stage. It lends a noticeable sweetness that leans traditionally feminine, rounding out the floral edges and giving the mid-phase a cozy, inviting density. The dry-down resolves into a clean, ambery, smooth woodiness that sits nicely close to the skin, providing a solid backbone without ever feeling heavy or overwhelming. Estée Lauder lists a "Macaron Rose Accord" among its official breakdown—a classic example of fantasy-note marketing. Unless you read the pyramid beforehand and trick yourself into smelling delicate almond pastry shells infused with rosewater, you won't find them here. Stripping away the marketing gimmicks reveals the true core architecture: berries, sweetened red florals, vanilla, and wood. Marketing embellishments aside, Glimmer is an exceptionally nice, easy-wearing fragrance. It isn't trying to re-invent the wheel or challenge niche sensibilities, but it executes its sweet, fruity-floral brief with polish and charm.

This is my first wear of this, but initially it reminds me of a much less cloying Lady Million (raspberry, citrus, florals, amber and patchouli notes in common.) It doesn’t have the honey and instead has some creaminess. The sweetness is more balanced...It is definitely more wearable for me than LM. I like it, but it’s not a love, at least right off the bat. I will report back after it develops and post complete wear test.

Very sweet and warm. Has a nice softness to it. I like it but it's nothing really special for me.

I love the opening of this, it's bright, floral, and sweet but still mature. It is not the most unique perfume out there and it does feel like something that came out maybe 10-15 years ago. The bottle is quite unique and reminds me of a block of cheese with holes in it. This is a very mass appealing perfume, I think the majority of people with find it pretty and very feminine. I got around 4-5 hours with this. Again, it's nothing unique but if you want something mature, feminine, and sophisticated, this may be for you.

Boring, fruity floral. Typical of Estée Lauder these days. I was so hopeful this would be something new and interesting for a change. It’s not bad, totally office friendly and probably safe enough to buy as a gift for someone as it’s not offensive or polarising.

At first spray, I genuinely had to take a moment to wonder if Libre had accidentally been put in the little sample vial instead of whatever this is supposed to be. It reminded me of the Berry Crush flanker before turning into something less fruity, but I was still getting Libre vibes. Very department store, very powdery grandma. Not a fan.

Very commercial, mass appeal fragrance. Linear, plain and boring, overwhelmingly sweet.

Headache in a bottle. A cliché scent.

I have this perfume. This reminds me so much of Angel Nova but a little less sparkling and more mature. It has that same jammy invigorating rose scent. The macaron fantasy note is very light in this fragrance. The rose becomes more candied in the mid. It's quite sweet, but very grounded due to the patchouli, amber and Woods. This does have a slight underlying vintage vibe to it, but just enough to feel slightly different from the normal fruity rose scents we get now. It is heavy on the musk when you initially spray it, so it feels fairly strong. This is good for lasting. I get about 6 to 7 hours. I think it might last even longer than that when the weather gets cooler. I don't like the bottle, it looks dated and doesn't quite match the scent inside. I do not see this being unisex. This smells quite feminine and sweet. In all, it's a solid release from Estee Lauder. I can see alot of people enjoying this.

Yes, finally something new from Estee Lauder, I used love their fragrances, then they like stopped producing or something, many shops stopped having their perfumes available, except Modern muse and Bronze Goddess. I hope this one is good, it seems good, and it will be available to try where I live.

I thought the heat was affecting my brain for a moment there - are Estee really bringing out an entirely new fragrance ? I remember when they used to do this quite a lot. Perhaps their falling sales have scared them.

Very early aughts chic. Smells like something that would’ve fit in perfectly in the ~2005-2010 era with the perfumes that were popular then, like Jimmy Choo and Chloe EDP.
