Modern Muse Eau de Rouge

Love at first sight! This is a wonderful peppery dewy sexy rose. Not in your face peppery, sexy. The flowers are making the peppery notes fresh and the musk and wood in the drydown takes it to a heavenly scent. Perfect for my bodychemistry. My new datenight scent and work scent and... Allright I'll wear this scent 24/7!

Edit to my review below: now when I've had it for a few days I have to say that it is soft and elegant. Perfect for work or a intimate date. It's not loud, you have to come close to notice the beauty.

Modern Muse Eau de Rouge was a pleasant surprise for me because I did not like the original, the chic, or the Le Rouge, but only because the last one was too sweet. Eau de Rouge is a clean spicy rose, the raspberry is subtle and the vanilla is nicely balanced by the bitter green cassis. These roses have not fully opened and are still on the stem, the pink pepper warms them up and makes them bloom in this fragrance. I can pick up on the magnolia and the ambrette in the dry down. Eau de Rouge is feminine and polished, pairs nicely with cardigans and tea-length dresses!

Oh, this to me is beautiful! Fruity floral, moderately sweet, I can sense the rose, also the raspberry and even some green notes. Everything is very well balanced with vanilla and musk and smells just wonderful. It is delicate and will definitely work as a daytime fragrance. But unfortunately because of it's lightness it fades rather quickly and longevity is not too good.

I'm excited about this. I got modern muse Le rouge for Christmas (red bottle) and this new flanker has some of my favourite perfume notes, rose, vanilla and pink pepper..... Estée Lauder usually gets the mix right so I'm confident it should be good... Can't wait to try it.

Green & white floral & woody fragrance, not bad, but definitely not matching my taste. All in all, it's strange. With time it gets better, but only a bit.

if u love roses then the muse line is for u :) however if u arent a rose fan maybe this wont be the line for u lol i would say eau de rouge is the lighter of the perfumes in this line - its still rose but a soft spicy version - may even do well with someone who is not a rose fan - to them it may be edgy lol but to me its a soft rose :) it is a close to the skin scent as well or at least on me it is :) i love the muse line when i want to be an edgy rose gal :) this scent is kind of addictive for me - i love to keep on spraying - its a yummy rose :)

A light, soft green fragrance. I can smell the pink pepper tones coming through, which I love. Gentle, summery and feminine. Definitely not a fragrance I would wear for the evening, but perfect for day wear and not too overpowering; for example ideal in an office environment. It does not last more than 3 hours on my skin, so you would need to top up during the day if necessary. A delicate, dewy fragrance. I would personally recommend. :)

A beautiful soft perfume which is good for the day time. Nothing extraordinary to show Personality! Seems like 2016 is the year of the Pink Color (Modern Muse Eau de Rouge, Poison Girl, Daisy Dream Blush, Dolce Rosa Excelsa, etc.) عطر ناعم و جميل و يناسب فترة النهار. و لكن لا شيئ مميز به لإظهار شخصية معينة, أي أنه عطر عام يبدو أن 2016 هو عام اللون الوردي (مودرن ميوز أو دو روج, بويزن غيرل, دايزي دريم بلاش, دولشي روزا إكسيلسا, إلخ)
