Pleasures Aqua

Its really beautiful, almost watery and shower fresh, and yet a true to it self fragrance. I do believe its a safe buy if you're into fresh fragrances. sillage and longevity moderate. the lilac and the green notes are very dominant. And the dry down is musky and woody yet green. I want this for summer.

This was a limited edition I mourn for. Its the perfect aquatic floral to my nose, and it doesnt matter that it didnt last long or was "generic" because the notes simply worked for me. Its extremely feminine and fresh and clean, the perfect summer vibe for me. I miss it so much...

Just got it and the first thing I did was compare to Pleasures Exotic. They do not smell alike. And PE is better as it smells more flowery than Aqua. I notice lilac with water and green notes in Aqua. Pleasures Aqua= more water notes than flower notes while Exotic is all flower/citrus. However, would consider this one fresh and very sutle. I would think you'd need to spray tons if you want to be noticed since this is the lightest "Pleasures" I own.

Pleasures Aqua is like a day at the beach. It's an EDP that acts like an EDT. Keep one in your gym bag to feel refreshed. Spray it on before a walk outside or gardening. It's a nice, green, musky, clean, light Estee Lauder scent for casual use only. The jasmine, freesia, and honeysuckle keep it light and springy, the wateriness evokes the seashore. Very evocative scent.

Not too shabby for a free 1.7oz tester...wouldn't wear this out, just maybe fresh out of the shower before bed. Kinda comforting, but nothing special.

Typical aquatic scent, with a bit of greens and lilac. Refreshing and pleasant and that's it.

I have been testing this fragrance today and am about 8 hours in now. I can smell it if I put my nose to my wrist but it stopped projecting on me from maybe the two hour mark. I tried this without even looking at the notes and the most prominent notes for me were first and foremost, a green note, then a watery note and honeysuckle. I literally said out loud right after spraying, "green". Then I got on here to check and almost choked when I saw it contains ambroxan. I can't stand ambroxan but thankfully it is in a very small dose or I would have known straight away. I love the smell of freesias as they are a very pretty, fragrant flower but I'm not getting the glorious scent they give off in this perfume. I think the green leaves in the composition are keeping this more sharp/bitter. The green leaves actually remind me of how the leaves smell on a mandarin tree or tangelo tree. For a 2016 fragrance, it's giving me 90s vibes, but not in a good way. It's a bit screechy for my liking but if you just like smelling fresh, like a bouquet of flowers, you may enjoy it. Just want to add that even in the drydown, I'm not getting any musk from it. To be frank, I think the woman who wears this romanticizes about falling in love, having a traditional church wedding, then having the big house with the white picket fence and 2.5 children. She will spring clean her house to the tune of John Paul Young's 🎵Love is in the Air🎵 Boy is she in for a shock when the kids arrive and her pristine white shirt gets covered in dribble, sticky hands, and tears....the latter may be her own!

I'll be one more to say that this perfume is just nice and fresh but nothing special really... While the original Pleasures is perfectly inspiring, romantic and one of a kind (and so is Pleasures Intense or Delight), Pleasures Aqua does not really evoke my imagination. It is one of a milllion similar fresh aquatic scents. It's not really ozonic, just like fresh, slightly detergent-like but in a good way. It smells like freshness and cleanliness. I still want it but I don't think it will ever be on the top of my most-beloved-perfumes list.
