( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) The Voluntary Rectal Exam: A Journey into Dread I finally committed to a 5ml sample because I had to know. Voluntarily subjected myself to this fragrance for the same reason one might sign up for a medical probe: not because I expected to enjoy the procedure, but out of a masochistic, snobby curiosity to understand the "inner workings" of the art form? The Opening Having liquid bleach on the standby, and questioning my life choices: The first squirt, it was like an voluntary fart in a crowded elevator—deeply awkward, impossible to ignore, and a total violation to my nose. At first, the alcohol lingers and masks the terror, actually I was expecting worse; BUT as it fumes out, and settles to a drydown the "stink" makes its grand entrance. The Scent It’s hard to describe, but imagine a crime scene in a dairy aisle inside a sterile hospital. It’s a metallic, ozonic, milky sharp acidic. There are some floral notes (don't know if its coconut coming through). Some people say "wet dog," and yeah, I definitely get that damp, organic vibe. It might feel disturbing to people who went through trauma, ending up in a hospital... The Utility Jokes aside, this is a masterpiece for all the wrong reasons. It’s the ultimate secret weapon for that one coworker who refuses to respect your personal bubble; one spray and I guarantee they’ll stay at least six feet away at all times. The fact that Etat Libre d’Orange can sell this as a "fragrance" and not an expensive prank from a Spencer’s gift shop is honestly impressive. The Verdict If you call yourself a fragrance connoisseur but haven't survived this bottle, you're just being a pu$$y, . You need to subject yourself to this at least once—not for the scent, but to truly reset your palate. It’s a rite of passage that will give you a newfound, soul-deep appreciation for every other bottle in your collection. 10/10 for the trauma. Ps, My application recommendation: Winter is perfect because the freezing air acts as a natural containment field, keeping the "biological disaster" from radiating. Nighttime is better because you can just go to sleep and hope the nightmare ends before sunrise. I love it, a masterpiece!

First and foremost, it is crucial to state that we are dealing with an incredibly complex, borderline unwearable fragrance. It must be understood as a conceptual piece of art rather than a traditional scent for daily wear. This is a highly intelligent composition that offers a uniquely subjective experience to everyone who encounters it. The fragrance leans heavily on olfactory associations. This is precisely why many people experience an immediate sense of revulsion—a reaction significantly amplified by the brand’s marketing. However, if we strip away the conceptual baggage and focus purely on the liquid itself, the experience is fascinating: The Opening: A floral, almost detergent or fabric softener-like aroma with a subtle, vinegar-ish sharpness. The Heart: Alongside strong metallic and mineral notes, there is a distinct carbonated quality and a very faint, milky undertone. The Dry-down: The composition is dominated by a sharp, powerful, "iron-like" metallic note. Surprisingly, the scent itself is not "bad." It is profoundly interesting and defies the traditional definition of "perfume," despite its floral elements. If one can detach from the bodily associations suggested by the name and marketing, what remains is a mineral, salty, and effervescent impression that can actually feel quite refreshing. I spent several days wearing this at home, deciphering the concept and the notes, and I must admit: I’ve become addicted. It is an extraordinary creation and a sensory journey that anyone who appreciates fragrance as an art form simply must experience.

This fragrance is a delightful revolution in the art of perfume making. After finding out a while ago how controversial this scent seems to be, I wanted to try it and find out if it indeed was as repulsive as some reviews described it. I've been testing it for the past two days and to sum up my personal experience within this short time frame: it's been a journey of transformation, self-discovery and insight. This scent is definitely not for the faint hearted. If you have a sensitive nose that doesn't handle commonly agreed bad and nauseating scents well, then approach it with extra caution. If you have a nose that's curious to discover the widest and wildest selection of scents our world offers, then you have found your match. Be prepared that once you test this scent it might settle in your nose for a good while and as you go about your day whiffs of memories might come back to you at the most random moments: my nose clings onto any note that's even mildly reminiscent of Secretions and turns it into that, even though I don't actually have any the scent on me. I love this scent with all my heart for just how little of it took to transform the whole of my olfactory journey as I knew it up to this point. It's mischievous, it's vile, it has a will of its own: it's brilliantly alive and singular.

I have been very very eager to try it, upon reading all of the reviews here, and other places, watching numerous reviews on youtube, I was more than thrilled. Today I was i my local nyche perfume shop and I knew it wasn't on the shelf, and I never expected to try it, just chated about it with a salesguy, and he pittied me and said they had a tester bottle hidden somewhere. Then he cautiously sprayed it on the paper blotter far away from himself, he said it was repulsive to him. Then I carefuly brought the paper to my nose, in fear of gaging and my reaction was "so? this is it? what's the fuss?" It opened up really fresh and sea breazy on the paper, so with all my courage I sprayed several sprays on my wrists. Oh my! Oh my! it smelled comletely like many of you guys have said. But the weird part is that I actually like it. I love it. I must be sick or perverted or something, but to me it smells like something warm, human, mutilated, disturbing and yet beautiful. To me this is dark art, an example of dark art in perfumery. I'm totally addicted and have my wrists plastered to my nose, P.S. Don't get the semen note whatsoever (not missed anyway)

Wow. Im not sure why but when i wore 12 sprays of this fragrance (which was quite underwhelming for me i wanted to sray more but my mom started gagging and told to me stop) people kept on avoiding me because of this scent. now i dont know why because its quite pleasing to me, Even my closest friends didnt even talk to me and kept giving me weird looks and so did everyone else, even the teacher refused to help me. Seriously?? i heard this is what women like and gets all the compliments not complaints. Maybe i didnt apply enough and revealed my true smell after i havent showered in like maybe 2 weeks??. Anyways what im saying here is that this fragrance has poor longevity which sucks cause the scent seems very familiar to me and actually smells a lot like my sheets. this also doesnt get compliments which im not sure why and the price is a bit unfair to me to be honest. So overall just dont buy this and get something like Zooligist Hyrax instead as that actually projects well and lasts well on my skin atleast.

I finally got this cologne and I understand how people with a voice can Brainwash a whole population by looking at these comments. This is good fragrance, and I describe this fragrance are creamy sandalwood coconut and iris smell but slightly aquatic. Nothing repulsive about it, matter of fact it’s wearable. If this was a JPG LeBeau flanker then it would be received well. This is a skin scent and won’t project and can only be detected up close. The occasion for this would be casual or professional setting due to the moderate and soft projection. My rating is 7/10, anyone that smell this would like it. also, this smells nothing like Armaf Milestones but close to Creed Virgin Island water minus the citruses, making it about 60 to 70 percent close to VIW. In addition to the seman and blood accords, those are just for marketing and the actual note is iodine which gives off a salty aquatic smell which is similar to salt or sea salt notes.

  • em inglês

So, I had a different experience than many people seem to have had with this scent. Upon spraying on a tester I got strong Lysol/cleaner notes. I do think this comes from the violet but I can be totally sure. There's a warmth to the scent that's sweet and spicy against the skin that's almost too much, and upon first spray on my skin was so loud it made me nauseous. At no point in the four hours since I applied it have I got anything like bodily fluids, nor has my family. It's a bit oceany but not bad or insulting. I would actually say that this bares a resemblance to some of the notes of She Is An Anomaly and Trash. If you like ELDO's other perfumes, you should give this a try at least once.

i was introduced to this fragrance today by someone at my art school and i can't stop thinking about it. it makes me think of semanalis from orto parisi and sadonaso from nasomatto. i think this would make a beautiful everyday scent and was surprised to see the way it was marketed originally! loved it but like sadonaso the marketing does a lot to lead people's perception of a fragrance.. i imagine i will order a bottle of this soon. would contest the "enormous" and "eternal", though that could be to do with the age of the one i sampled. close to the skin on me and not aggressive at all, the faintest trace is on my wrist now 8 hours later... i am left with "skin and milk".. delicious

THE BEST PERFUME EVER MADE. THE G.O.A.T THE MAGNIFICENT. THIS MADE ME PREGNANT BY MYSELF. I'M THE MOTHER AND THE FATHER. Words FAIL me when describing this BEAUTY. It's like mixing GOD with HEAVEN with PUPPIES with HUGS FROM HIPPOS. This is a 12891230192343261984631234 / 10 FRAG. I WISH I COULD FART THIS, JUST SO I COULD STICKY-TAPE MY MOUTH AROUND MY ANUS CAVITY SO I COULD SWALLOW THE SMELL AND RECREATE IT INSIDE MY BOWEL! K Bye.

Secretions Magnifiques starts bold, blood, salty sweat. The scent is very human definitely. As the fragrance dries down the scent reminds me of baby powder and the body odor of a someone who smells very good. It's like smelling someone who brings comfort. The infamous blood, sweat, semen, and saliva fragrance you either love it or hate it. Me, I love it the scent brings the odd comfort of a old lover.

Not only are the negative reviews hyperbolically inflated, but I not only wasnt revolted by it - I LIKE it. I get no "secretion" smell of any kind, and certainly dont detect any seaweed note. I mean, its not 8, 9 or 10, but its easily a 6.5, which is right where my cutoff is between will and will NOT wear.

  • em inglês

First fragrance I ever bought cause I was so sure I would be edgy enough to wear it. 4 years later and I hate it so much a guy I hooked up with once finished with the same aroma and met the door faster than the speed of light. He is blocked and so is this scent from my memory. Just a decorative bottle now.

This one needs no explanation. A "legend" and "incident" in the perfume world. Blood, sweat, tears, iron, seawater, milk... And yet, contradictorily, it somehow becomes gentle and sexy in the end. The king of perversion.

Very nice, this is my signature scent, I get at least 3 compliments every day, the vanilla stands out in this fragrance which just makes this so good. I'm pretty sure this smells like luxury! Best fragrance OAT!

I tested this in-store and the initial spray rendered me speechless for 30 seconds. My head felt like it was expanding and my stomach dropped. It was like mushrooms kicking in and being transported to the backrooms, but not in a fun way, more chilling, otherworldly. That opening blood note is a genuine adrenaline rush. My description to my sister during lunch (yes, I wore this through a meal, challenging): “It smells like a sexy woman with a bunch of smeared lipstick just sucked 5 dicks, swallowed, then sloshed lemon water around her mouth and spat it at me while walking past me at the beach.” I said that but kept sniffing... Hours 1-3: Alien Hospital Marine, bodily, frosty, sanitary. Getting wafts of this while eating was off-putting. It felt like being in an alien hospital where they’re about to probe you. The metallic blood note mingles with something clinical and cold. There’s a saliva note here that’s actually one of the more pleasant aspects. Summer Outdoors: Strangely, if you step outside into warmth and fresh air, this fragrance transforms. Suddenly it’s powdery, fresh, lovely even. The marine note breathes. It seems to need air and movement to become wearable. Indoors and stagnant, it’s all clinical metal and salt. Hours 4-6: Kissed Skin and Saline Back in the perfume store, the blood note has vanished but something stranger emerges. Medical, fishy seaweed at the beach, metallic, slightly salty. It smells like clammy skin washed by saline solution and then someone had kissed along the skin wetly, leaving saliva dried there. That dried saliva effect becomes a theme, intimate and oddly tender. Marine but more aquatic-bodily than oceanic. Still strange, still medical, but there’s something about kissed skin that lingers. Hours 7+: Aftercare Settled at home after dinner, this is the most comforting it’s been all day. It genuinely smells like being cuddled up with someone after sex, in a strangely wholesome way. The scent itself gives you aftercare after the bizarre journey it’s taken you through. Powdery, clean, metallic without the major blood note, close and intimate without too much saltiness. That dried saliva note persists softly. Slightly marine but more like waves on a beach during dusk while you’re wrapped in sweaty sheets with a lover. Multiple customers at the perfume counter told me “it’s so weird, but it actually smells really nice on your skin.” I think it works with my chemistry in a way I can’t explain. I simultaneously love and hate this. I’m disgusted one moment and rolling my eyes in euphoria the next. I don’t get it, but I can’t stop sniffing my arm. I’m getting a decant to experiment with layering (it seemed gorgeous paired with creamy lipstick scents like Porcelain by Perdrisat, and I’d love to try it with something warm and fruity), but I know I’ll end up with a full bottle. This is too insane not to own.

Dear GOD, this is exactly what I wanted out of this infamous scent--to be offended, violated, and literally sick to my stomach with the artful precision of a scalpel. This fragrance is a masterpiece. The olfactory equivalent of the artwork of Herman Nitsch and the Vienna Actionists. It is not for the delicate of palette or sensibility. Before sampling this, I had run 9 miles and lost my appetite, though the queasiness was long gone. My senses were sharp and my airways were clear. I opened the sample, smudging a fraction of a drop accidentally on a fingertip, but before I could do anything else, the scent hit me HARD--for just a few hundred millisecods, a soft, powdery ghost of iris/coconut--and suddenly I was bludgeoned--JIZZ, SEMEN, CUM! LOW TIDE! BLOOD! RUBBER! RIPE, UNWASHED BODIES! ROOM-TEMPERATURE MILK! And a hint of something else--which may have been ozone or the oft-cited adrenaline tang of this scent. I was literally nauseous for the next 20 minutes, and the immense sillage crept up on me in little drafts from time to time, reactivating the nausea. I am so, so impressed by the accuracy with which Antoine Lie captured semen and metallic blood and human filth. The milky, jizz aspect of this hit me right in the back of the throat--like a relative stranger with only moderate hygeine shooting a huge load mid-blowjob without any forewarning. I have never felt so assaulted by perfume, or so in awe. Naturally, I smeared the tiniest bit on my forearm to see how it would develop with heat compared to a cold, thick-skinned fingertip. While my fingertip still smelled more like the original heartnotes, retaining the low tide, jizz, bedridden-flesh-with-a-hint-of-shit accord, the drydown was bizarrely nice on my forearm in a very rough trade sort of way--I was reminded of the warm, musky den of a little fieldmouse, and salt-crusted dried seawater, juxtaposed with just hint of soft, powdery floral. I accidentally spilled a bit on the bag it came in, threw the bag away, and had to take out the trash and pour boiling water and soap down my sink. I still caught hints of it even afterwards. This scent is so true to itself--incredible longevity and sillage, shameless, exerting itself across the room. This scent might actually be appropriate for a very specific kind of person. Someone feral, charmingly amoral, who is at their best unshowered. A scent truly worthy of its name.

Blood. Sweat. Semen. Saliva. There is also a baby hygiene product type note to it, so maybe we should just call this Party at Diddy’s. Strictly speaking, this perfume is an ozonic/marine white floral, and it is probably the most unnerving perfume I have ever smelled. Etat Libre d’Orange’s favorite chemically plastic aldehydes are a hard right hook to your nose, blood gushing from a highly metallic and ozonic seaweed absolute with the heart layer fervently waiting underneath. When I say unnerving, I mean it. Smelling this unholy concoction tenses me, the joints of my jaw tighten and swell from salivary gland cramping like I’m preparing to be nauseous, adrenaline pumps and an autonomic reaction of “steer clear” courses through my veins. It honestly would be very repellent if I didn’t also find it so damn curious. I’m not sure what this says about me, but probably nothing flattering. Once the aldehydes give up I find it easier to focus on Lie’s composition and to see what is really going on, but easier in the context of Secretions Magnifiques doesn’t mean easy. Strings of woody cumin wrap around a slick, sticky, slightly sweet, milky orris sitting on a massive bed of salty animalic ambergris-like musks. ELdO wanted a perfume that smells of blood, spit, sweat, and semen, and Lie gave it to them. The latter are two well-represented in the heart and base layers. The final skin scent provides a bit of creamy and floral sandalwood in addition to the orris for some much needed relief and comfort that is quite baby-care product smelling, but by this time it’s a bit too little too late. ELdO and Lie, ok... wtf, guys... seriously... how am I supposed to wear this? You set out to create something, and to your credit you nailed it - Antoine, you’re indeed a master - but this is art of a very subversive and literal nature, not something to wear. I own a small bottle of this because it is such an outlandish thing it seems a true fragrance collection should have it as a reference point. A reference for what though, I still haven’t quite figured that out. I will likely never finish the bottle, and probably not even get through half of it. But there it sits, waiting for my finger to press its atomizer so it can remind me that as a human I am still an animal and still capable of being gross.

As a perfumery lover I got myself a decant of this perfume bc I was starting to get FOMO so here's my opinion. Disclaimer: I'm into weird scents and smells, I used to love the smell of rotten flesh when I was a child (dead animals mostly) so yeah my review might be a liiiiiil biased. And no, my nose is perfectly fine, thanks. Without its marketing this is just a really marine perfume, like extreeemely marine, aquatic and salty. It /is/ 'repulsive' if you're not used to these kinda accords, not "gag" repulsive like most people say but "wtf is going on" repulsive. And talking about gags, almost everyone who ever reacted like that is faking it tbh. I could only understand if you blind bought this without doing some research first. It's salty and I think we all here already know why lol. I don't get the blood and sweat accords at all, there's something viscous going on the background but I'd say it doesn't smell dirty, just weird. It's not like you're having sex with someone who hasn't showered in a week... it's more like 'first times', everything's weird, new, even messy and sloppy but you're horny and eventually end up liking it. If it wasn't for the seaweed this would be a perfect subtle, milky perfume /for me/. 👆🏻 Wrote allat two hours ago after using a blotter and went to have dinner. I tested it on my skin to see if something changes and well, I do get the blood accord now, it's subtle but you know it's there, something metallic wandering in the back like it has no business there. On paper the seaweed overpowers everything else, on skin it disappears after a few minutes. What's left is just a subtle, not so perceptible marine-milky scent, the sillage is intimate like a second skin and it's wearable in my opinion. I was expecting something disgusting, nasty, horrifying but it's actually not that bad. It gets you off guard the first time but the more you smell it, the more you get used to it. /The more you like it/ I'd say, but I guess I'm just a weirdo lmao. I once read someone saying this is like 'evil cilantro' and I totally get it now. Final review 8/10 Weird, viscous, subtle, not that bad just people overreact a lot. ELDO did such a good job with this one.

i know perfume is supposed to smell good and like a combination of the best good smells we know about, but sometimes a perfume should smell like something real. i think we get caught up in the note lists and what smells good when paired with what, and there's a place for that, sure, but i also think we should be able to have some perfumes that smell really weird and really real. i was gifted a full-sized bottle of secretions on my birthday, which might remove the sunk-cost element some people might factor into their disappointment. but the more i smell it, the less i understand people's negative reactions towards it. there's definitely a funk, a dead seaweed and rot opening that is offensive to most, including myself. that being said, there's always a beauty beneath it, from start to finish. there's something mystical, unknown beneath the off-putting surface. i think people are too caught up in their knee-jerk reaction to the initial spray to really sit with it. they say it smells like cum and blood and sweat, but I don't get that at all. it smells like the beach. the beach in its blemished reality. not in the way perfume typically evokes an association to the beach; via some combination of citruses and marine elements, but rather the humblingly real smell of the beach. there's a little bit of goose poo, the water may have recently been dangerously high in e.coli, the water at the canteen is 9 dollars, and there are tourists everywhere. but that's the beach! it's real life! and the beach is fun!!! if most perfume exists as a greatest hits album of all the smells we've ever been able to aerosolize, then this is a messy, imperfect, but wholly conceptual album with some serious bangers. stop hating. this shit smells like real life.

You’ve probably seen videos online of people reacting to this fragrance in a dramatic way. I thought it was just shock value and hype but when I tried it in a perfumery, the sales assistant who was helping me didn’t even want to spray it on a blotter. She handed it over to another, braver colleague. It’s true: some people are genuinely repelled by this fragrance. But honestly, my impression was that of standing in a museum, in front of a magnificent work of art. I didn’t smell e**culation, nor spit, nor blood, or anything like that. The truth is, this fragrance reminds me of nothing—because it’s simply an odor I’ve never encountered in my whole life. It may resemble something, perhaps, but it’s nothing you actually know. It can evoke bodily scents, like “clean,” hormonal sweat produced during sex—but also something else entirely: the briny air of a lake on a scorching, humid day, the salinity of certain specific algae. For me, it’s an essential piece in the collection of any niche perfume enthusiast. Some days, when I feel VERY bold, I wore it layered with some flowery scents to enhanced its gentler facets. But, by the end of the day, it is the only one left on my skin—just to give you an idea of how overpowering it is. A blind buy is not recommended, because this product—so deeply divisive—proves how this powerful sense that is smell is inevitably shaped by our subjective experiences.

Ordinarily I have to go on a tirade about how distilling a fragrance to one material comparison the way people reach for on a review is reductive at the most generous. No, this actually, honestly is cum. It's just cum. The version of cum that came out of a tetra pak, you'd expect to say fresh-squeezed, or 100%, or something. If cum spent the whole vacation in the air-conditioned lounge, bahama mama in hand without the sand ever touching its slub cotton ruffles but hey, at least it can say it was there. By the time the base swings around it's a daisy-footed doe-eyed sandalwood and absolutely nothing of the hedonism behind, stock image for any somebody's signature's base broken on your sheets a week later, laundry basket in hand wondering if there was anything between you at all. Like waking up from a sweet dream. Or, you know, coming in your pants on public transport on the breeze and pour-over sunshine, involved. It's for people who like the smell of cum, myself already included to begin with, but you can't press 3 on the vending machine for bird shit flavour and not expect the dove to come out of the damn juice box. No one was, like, marketing this to you as nail polish. Not nearly enough to me warranting what it hilariously being the one bottle stashed away in a closet in the corner of the literal ELdO standalone would suggest, que sera, sera.

This is not satire. This is not me trying to fool anyone into thinking this is something it's not. I'm not trying to be a contrarian for the sake of it. I like this fragrance. Is it as good as something that's meant to be mass appealing? No. But is it bad? No. First spray to me is floral and salival. It's a shockingly pleasant first smell. I don't get the sharp metallic note that most do. I do enjoy a blood note though, so that actually makes me a bit disappointed. After letting it dry down and sit on my skin for a while, it still maintains a bit of a floral note, but adds in something that's like coconut but also a doughnut...? It's strange but still quite pleasant. I have a very sensitive nose for better and for worse. Smells that are gross like rotting things, trash, spoiled milk, they all make me gag immediately. It's genuinely a nightmare. This makes me wonder why so many people gag at this? It's not to say they aren't or are faking it, but I don't smell the notes others mention. If you're curious if the hype of this being one of the worst fragrances of all time is real, don't be so fearful as to never try it. Your reaction may be more like mine and you may end up genuinely liking it.

Just some notes: Immediate impression: It's milky but not like milk, with a weird small sharpness behind it that flags as Wrong in my brain. Like mom-perfume (positive) but there's something evil in there, sneaking up on you. Perhaps the blood. Next impression: More masculine and musky but still with that Wrong note. Also I'm inexplicably starving and this pizza tastes better than three-day-old cold pizza should taste. This is how a quietly cruel, genderless, thin, wealthy villain would smell. This perfume feels like it's laughing at me for falling for a trick or not seeing something obvious. Later: it's more floral now, softer. Maybe some clean high notes, nothing screeching. Getting little whiffs of sweat now, but not like the sharp BO smell, more like the ambient smell in an unventilated area in the Southern summer, when it's just rained a bit so everything and everyone is a bit more damp. A little sour, I guess. But also a really pleasant, sweeter warmer smell.

Picture this: You've just completed an intense workout. To reward yourself, you quickly jerk off in the locker room. The smell of semen and sweaty old men sticks to your clothes as you walk out to your car, which only grows stronger and more pungent as the hot sun beats down on you. Once you get home, you pull out your preserved frog carcass from your cabinet. You can't wait to relax by partaking in your favorite hobby, dissection. For no particular reason, there's a rotting whale carcass on your living room floor. You dissect the frog. The smell of semen, sweat, formeldahyde, and rotting whale all combine. Beautiful.

I actually wore this out, and I have to say, I'm impressed. It’s definitely a piece of art. The longevity and projection are surprisingly great. It’s a very strange scent, and I love how offensive it can be. The blood accord and that metallic edge are definitely there, which makes it feel so raw. My friend said it smells like a stink bug, but as it sits on the skin, the milk note starts to come through and it becomes more bearable, even nice. It’s polarizing, but it does exactly what it promises to do. It’s bold, weird, and I actually find it beautiful in its own way.

am i going insane??????? (niche perfumery definitely took over me) to me, secretions magnifiques actually smells like slightly salty milk and iris????? not even that, it doesnt even smell human- it smells rather robotic and cold, metallic even. i let my best friend test this perfume aswell and she immediately had to choke and said this smelled like disease and untreated cavities. i seriously dont know if im just a freak or if i reached some higher understanding of my consciousness after smelling this fragrance..

i'm not sure what it was about this but this smells like my mother when i'd hug her on a cold, snowy evening in 2012. i can feel her coat against my cheek when i smell this and the metal of the zipper and the tang of the frigid air. and her sweat from marinating inside the coat. i can't bring myself to detest this fragrance. it smells like my mum's embrace and i love my mum very much. i wouldn't ever wear it but how incredible to smell such a thing

I bought a tester of this because I was intrigued by the sent profile. As a big fan of what is trying to imitate I thought maybe I would enjoy wearing it. I sprayed it on a scent card and placed it in with other tester cards. A day later every single one of them smells exactly like this! Say what you want about how it smells it is extremely powerful, pungent, and will punch you right in the face. I like it.

Starts off salty and bitter but becomes kind of a pleasantly sweet-ish scent over time. Almost like if you just amplified the smell of skin. I like wearing it to bed because it just kind of smells like a person. Might layer well with other things

i unironically agree with the comment about Secretions Magnifiques being an inoffensive everyday scent, it blends with the skin beautifully. reminds me that i'm a human. rusty, animalistic, and marine. i want to wear this perfume every day

After trying this on my skin, I can say...Hmmm. Not as bad as I expected it to be, I did not gag to this. It's not particularly pleasant to me but it is peculiar! In all honesty it just reminds me of a fresh aquatic men's cologne but like, by a realistic beach with salty seawater and algae. Sillage is pretty intense and the salt and metallic qualities of the semen and blood accords (I assume) definitely hits you in the back of the throat; the fragrance gives me a bit of a headache but that's really it. I ended up trying to scrub it off after 2 hours or so because it just kinda bothered me mostly, it still lingers despite my attempts though. I wouldn't personally wear this but I'm not shocked that others find it more wearable than I do. Weirdly I feel like it gets worse when you have to sit with it. Update: Actually, I do kind of find it repulsive now after experiencing it more. It is nasty but in a confusing way. However, me and my friend went around and asked people to judge it and see what they think (before telling them the concept behind the fragrance), so here is a list of what people thought it smelled like: - Baby Wipes - Laundry - When you wake up in a field fully hung over - Foot Balm After mentioning the concept, one person that has worked with sperm in a lab said that it does get slightly sperm-y. Other than that people either had perplexing reactions, saying it was familiar, confusing, or even nice. Do with that what you will!

It's not terrible. And despite some of the reviews, I have to say I think it is a perfume. Searching for hours for an honest review of this fragrance was time-consuming, but this was not the gag-worthy perfume. i have to say it smells a bit like a beautiful creamy, wet white floral and iris fragrance that has gone bad, but not sour, its just a perfume that is around 80 years old. like if you were to have bought a fresh fragrance, it would be great, honestly. Initial: it smelled like a secretion, but nothing in particular, but just like a seeping liquid. It was less of a smell and more of a texture, a viscious yet innocently seeping texture. or like stale air smell. Middle: the huge wave of blood overtook the fragrance, it wasn't blood or disturbing but rather just iron-like or metallic, but it was too much, I believe without this accord i would genuinely wear and love this fragrance, no bs. The Dry Down: For those of you with dogs with hair (not fur) it smells a bit like when your dog gets a bath and they are powdery-esque, but then they immediately ruin it by going outside in the rain so once they are dry its rain-esque, wet dog, and puppy bath. Honestly, cute from a distance and interesting. But if you take a deeper sniff or if on skin, the metal kills any good thing from this. Overall: 5/10

Did not get the sweat scent at all. Smells fishy and salty to me. I was looking for a more sour scent that replicated dried sweat after the gym. But this is more of a watery scent with strong discharge. I would say this replicated a long day out on the sea your feet sore from working and your body slowly collapses in the surrounding fish guts and carcasses. It gave me a sickeningly sweet undertone that couldn’t mix with the salty spoiled milk mixture. Definitely aquatic and rancid, but no human like scent that I could detect. Easiest way to describe this scent is two mermaids fighting and fucking at the same time. Anger and love. With a milk fish overtone and a sweetness to it that makes you want to gag I would not call this a sex perfume. Marlou has perfumes that smelt more like sex to my nose. Putain des palaces by eldo gave more of that sexy lipstick scent with an animalic edge. This perfume being labeled secretions magnifique is bold. This scent could be secreted by a human. A human who was addicted to meth and bathed in fish blood and ammonia then sure. Beautiful perfume would not want to smell again.
