Sous Le Pont Mirabeau

Here we have a house which like many, I know by reputation but not that much by their perfumes. About Sous Le Pont Mirabeau, a friend of mine told me not long ago "if you like Zoologist's Olm, get this one, it's a cleaner version of it minus the muskiness". I love Olm so that got me hyped up and I recently got my bottle of Sous Le Pont Mirabeau. From what I understand, this is inspired by Guillaume Apollinaire's poem of the same name which speaks of love being like water, it "ebbs and flows". It's a poetic statement and I admit I don't get a poetic vibe from the scent. That said, I do get a nostalgic vibe, having grown up by a river and always playing near it. Right off the rip, what I get here is a very ozonic, fresh aquatic. There's no sweetness here and thankfully no annoying citrus opening like so many "aquatic" fragrances have. Here, what you get right on spray is a fresh, uplifting fresh water vibe with a wet rock, mineral smell (apparently that's "Orcanox"). That's the smell that made me fall in love with Olm, so obviously, I'm sold already. Sous Le Pont lacks that musky element that deters some people from the Zoologist, so those afraid of musk, algae, etc. don't need to worry here. This is super clean, easy to wear but at the same time, unique and different from most "aquatics". There's a greenness here which adds something I really like (I can see why people mention the fig note, it's a wet woody kind of scent). Taking a look at the "similar to" list here, I definitely can see similarities to a few but this is its own thing (it doesn't have the floral of Seahorse or the chlorinated vibe of Sydney Rock Pool). I personally don't pick up a pickle smell from sandalwood, but be wary if you do because I smell it here for sure. So all in all, I love this! This is going to shine in the summer for sure, it's super refreshing. I think it could be worn any time of the year, though. It's just a very clean, pleasant smell. You're not going to offend anyone with this, I actually had many people at work mention how pleasant my cubicle smells. I get a good 6 hours wear with good projection, surprisingly (typical of ELDO, I'm told). A very good calling card for the house. I'm going to order the full sample set and see. If you like aquatics, definitely get your nose on this one.

Got my hands on the sample kit with 20 small vials of ELDO's fragrances to try with my girlfriend. This one was the third one that we engaged with. This is definitely ELDO's take on the fresh aquatic scent. For me, it lead with that fig leaf and elemi, and the bergamot and pink pepper were their teammates supporting them by lifting them up above themselves for us to sniff at. But I also almost immediately got a blast of crisp, grassy goodness from a fresh breeze by the sea. It's incredibly well developed and was a bit of a shock for me, as typically these sort of aquatic fragrances lead with some heavier citrus notes. But instead, I was getting cucumber, pepper, etc; and a very light bergamot. Very lovely, I really adore the elemi in this blend (which is probably that dill/pickle that folks are talking about). Dries down to a pleasant sandalwood with some extra bits of something animalic, that same green note, and residual salt from being by the ocean. There's even a hint of sweetness in there which smells like that vanilla note? This blend of woodiness and salt feel like a very refreshing twist on your standard aquatic/woody scent. Lasts a fair bit of time on my skin too! I find this to be surprisingly tame and wearable for an ELDO scent, and though I have no problem wearing something weird, it's nice to have something that isn't as oddball or left-field. To me, maybe the weirdness lies in the subversion of the archetypes they're playing with here. Regardless, this one is a winner for me, but I can see why some might be put off by this one as it's not as wild or experimental as some of ELDO's other offerings. Aquatic, refreshing, green goodness with tall, wooden backbone.

I have finally received my ELDO sample set and am really enjoying exploring these scents. Given that there are very few reviews for this new release, I thought I would leave one. The first spritz of this scent immediately screamed Santal 33 to me - obviously, that's the sandalwood. But as somebody who finds Santal 33 too 'dill pickle' and unwearable (I sold mine), almost as immediately, it was clear to me that Sous le Pont Mirabeau had much softer edges to it. There is something fruity and herbal enveloping the sandalwood, taking off the spiky edges which feel so unavoidable in Santal 33. It is much more wearable, so if you are somebody who like me, did quite like Santal 33 in one way but also found it too pickle-like and off-putting, I highly recommend you try this fragrance. As it settles, it begins to smell somewhere between medicinal and a cocktail. It brings to my mind sitting in an outdoor terrace of a restaurant on a busy main street, on holiday, in the sun, eating appetisers and drinking cocktails. There is something reminiscent of sunscreen coming through (though in no way similar to scents like MMM's Beach Walk or Tom Fords Soleil Blanc) that gives it holiday vibes. This is absolutely not a safe blind buy, but I'm surprised by how much I love it and highly recommend getting hold of a sample, especially if you like Santal 33. It settles into something surprisingly delicate, though still with quite a sharp, herbal, woody core.

Sous Le Pont Mirabeau is absolutely gorgeous on the opening and the dry down. It’s a slightly acidic salty ocean air, musk and something green with a bit of bitterness in it. As it dries down, after about the first 30 minutes, the bitterness gets a tiny bit stronger and the salt faded a little. Sous Le Pont Mirabeau also takes on a distinctly green leafy note that is very pleasant. Strangely as it nears the end of its life, most of the notes fade almost entirely into a slightly sweet musky very mild aquatic scent. On the performance side Sous Le Pont Mirabeau has great longevity. It lasted for just under 12 hours on my skin, with very very light hints of it possible sticking around after that. A 9/10 here. The projection is great for about the first 4 hours, projecting nicely just outside my arms length but after those 4 hours Sous Le Pont Mirabeau crashed down to a skin scent and got closer and close for the next 3 hours before it was so skin close I could only smell it with my nose on my skin. A 5/10 here. I really like Sous Le Pont Mirabeau, it’s a very enjoyable ocean scent with what I think is a seaweed mixed in. Regardless of what it is I really enjoyed the bitter green note in it. It’s a 8/10 for me overall. The 12 hours on skin is great, I just wish that it kept its strong projection for more of its lifespan.

I first discovered this fragrance in the ELdO discovery kit. From first smell, there was something extremely nostalgic about this perfume. It perfectly captures the essence of strolling under a bridge in Paris during the summertime. Sous le pont Mirabeau (SLPM) strikes divine harmony between green, aquatic, spicy, and being unapologetically French all at the same time. The aquatic notes in SLPM are not suggestive of salty ocean spray but instead convey the feeling of fresh water rushing through an urban stream. Notes of dill weed, orcanox, precious resins, musks, and cedar bolster this watery accord. Of particular note is the sweetness of Elemi in this fragrance, which completely transforms the olfactory experience, especially as the scent evolves on skin. I found it to have a great longevity on my skin (6-10h). My partner thinks that it smells a lot like tzatziki/pickles but I thankfully don't pick up on these notes as much. Other people have mentioned this as well, so clearly a collective experience for some folks. More masculine leaning but perfectly unisex.

Great addition to the ELDO lineup. Opens like a more polite sibling of Zoologist's Squid. Both hit you with big pink pepper up front along with some salty, incense-y nuances, but where Squid veers darker on the drydown, this lands in uplifting, beachy, suntan lotion territory. Squid's ambergris note is supplanted here with Orcanox, which seems to serve a similar purpose but may lack a bit of the former's staying power. I also get a passing similarity in the drydown to the original formulation of Imaginary Authors' Soft Lawn, but I'm not sure as to which specific aspects of the two scents I'd attribute that comparison. Similar vibes, though. I'm a big fan of this one. Good summertime scent that's unique enough to set itself apart but not too artistically motivated for its own good. One of ELDO's better new releases.

Out of all the diverse and out-there creations of Etat Libre d’Orange, Sous le pont Mirabeau stands out for its simplicity and quiet profile. It gives a calming effect, just like water flowing peacefully under a bridge. As unlikely as it may sound, this perfume may be used anytime during the day. Office? Sure. Gym? Why not. Date? You bet. At least on my skin the violet is quite prominent but in a good way, still I don’t see any note clashing with other notes for attention. It’s a clean, very easy to wear, a bit ozonic and a tad powdery. As I said, every time I wear it I get a sense of peacefulness and calmness

This is the second fragrance from the discovery set that I've tried. I immediately fell in love with the deep, briny, saturated wood accord. My spouse complimented the opening sweetness and found it reminiscent of a juicy honeydew melon. I didn't get as much of the sweetness, but it was there. Unfortunately, it only lasted a couple hours on my skin, and I was only able to get a few faint whiffs for a couple more hours from my clothes. Overall, 6/10 from me, great fragrance, it's a shame it doesn't last.

This is defiantly a scent that you need to try on your skin. On me it smells green but warm and slightly powdery and milky. I get a lot of fig and musc. It’s salty - but more like warm skin than cold sea water. Just the kind of salty I love. The sandalwood adds depth and warmth. I get absolutely non of the cucumber, dill or pickles that others are mentioning. My 7-year old daughter that rarely comments on my perfume told me I smelled really good and took an extra sniff when she gave me a hug.

The opening is very much cucumber and fig on my skin, I can smell the quite realistic fig leaf note the whole time actually. Then just a hint of bergamot. The dry-down is little ozonic, with salty sandalwood notes. Medium sillage. I was searching for a scent for spring and this one hit the spot. Would be suitable for warmer months as well. To me this is the perfectly balanced green/aquatic/woody scent. Wearable, yet interesting! I'm glad to add it to my collection.

This is so fantastic. Actual water-fresh, ozonic, relaxing. The sandalwood is so lovely and feels very well balanced to maintain the overall mostly-aquatic vibe. Something addictive to it that makes me want to keep smelling my skin, maybe the violet. For me and my tastes this leans perfectly unisex which I love. This is one of the samples in their main discovery set and I think I may need a full size bottle some time in the future.

Just got a full bottle, absolutely love it!! 10/10 for extreme hot summer. This is my first niche acuátic perfum it reminds me Beaver and Squirt from Zoologist, but I love this over this two for the more solid base and good longevity. At the end, the dry down represent wonderful wood note, wet? and sweat? Por the cedar wood, sandalwood and vanilla maybe. Love how the elemi sweetness plays with the ozone notes. It is wonderful!!

I absolutely love this fragrance. It’s not overly feminine... It’s fresh salt air and crisp cedar woods. It just smells so good to me. If you like this and want something a touch more feminine, try Salted Muse by Orebella. I have both and love them equally. I will definitely purchase this again when I run out. UPDATE: I just found a 50ml bottle for $50 in Marshalls and he just jumped right in my shopping cart :)

This is a very interesting fragrance in that the difference between trying it on paper and skin is immediately palpable. On paper, as another reviewer pointed out, it's a fresh sharp cucumber, almost sweet. On skin? Pencil shavings with a hint of salt. Anyway, smells very clean, and I think it's neatly unisex. Depending on its longevity this may be a favorite from ELDO.

A good while ago I tried Tom Ford’s Oud Minerale. The marine aspect really intrigued me. Overall, I find that fragrance cold, dark, and deep. Here, I find the marine aspect to be cool and clean. Where Oud Minerale is being pulled under a blue-black churning sea, this is swimming in the depths and surfacing at will. This is an excellent wear.

I don't understand the reviews stating it's boring. Very different scent from "male" fragrances I've had or tried in the past, and very enjoyable. It's definitely unisex to my nose. It is clean but briny, woody and sweet. Feels like there are florals buried in here too. Complex and fun! Highly recommended.

reminds me almost exactly of book (expressive) by commodity (a scent i love). this one is more watery but i'd venture to say if you have one you don't need the other. gorgeously woody, comforting & sexy, though it does lean just a tiny bit more masculine imo. not enough that i won't wear it, however!

Despite the cucumber top notes, the dry down on this is beautiful. Subtle, pear-like sweetness that really pulls you in. My fiancee bought this for me at the boutique in Paris. It will always evoke memories of our time there together. Underrated! Test it out for yourself this one’s a sleeper.

I am not getting cucumber or salads in any way. To me its a beautiful concoction that smells of wet, mouldy moss in the best way possible. Every note is perfectly accorded, its wearable while still having some edge. You really do feel like you’re lounging under an old parisian bridge.

So nice and aquatic with a hint of woodsy. My new favorite. Smells like the perfect instagram photo dump of a girl who vacationed in Mykonos or Amalfi. Sea spray while driving fast on a boat. I feel like that dolphin surrounded by rainbows. A delightfully fresh, spicy fragrance.

I fell in love with it instantly. To me, it stands out. It's salty, almost pickle lol. But it's also slightly floral and super fresh. It feels like sitting on the shore, with trees and bushes nearby. I love the smell of the sea and this perfume did it so well

Odd and addictive. I’m really into salty scents at the moment. I find myself working quickly through my sample. A perfect easy spray on the way to school run or the gym. Not sure why it gets so much hate. It lasts. I guess it’s not groundbreaking though

A beautiful, light aquatic. I could imagine this being a very wearable summer scent. I appreciate that it leans fresh and slightly green rather than sweet or citrusy (atleast on my skin). Wish it had slightly better longevity and sillage.

Familiar notes but a formula that makes this altogether unique to my nose among fresh fragrances. Detectable fig leaf but not so much that it dominates the light saltiness. An absolute favorite despite its ephemeral longevity.

Incredible and unique fragrance! I let my husband wear it when he asked I suggest a scent for him and he loves it so much that I ended up buying him his own bottle for his birthday. I absolutely love this scent on both of us.

I have the watery woody scent on my skin, kind of slightly aromatique too definitely comforting. Fresh and warm at the same time kind of unique, I actually have a ha4 time to wear it as a woman but I really enjoy smelling it

Aquatic fig-sandalwood. Very Intriguing and unique, but has weak sillage and longitivity. Loved this one but i already own a good sandalwood so maybe next time. Edit: got a bottle anyways cause I can't get it off my mind.

What an interesting pleasant smell, it’s not boring for sure. I’m just so intrigued by the blend of wood & aquatic note, refreshing but grounded at the same time.

This is a very clean marine scent , it is very straight forward with how it smells. It is a simple marine fragrance done very well.

this is a marine fragrance in the way that Jo Malone wood sage and sea salt is a marine fragrance. it's quite lovely in my opinion.

Instantly got that Zoologist Seahorse vibe — less pricey and about the same performance. Might cop a bottle.

Aers Etat Libre d'Orange Advent Calendar I bought the ELdO discovery set and made it my advent calendar. I'll try to post a review every day in the order the samples are in the set. Day 10 - Sous Le Pont Mirabeau If I thought yesterday's Like This was edible, this was a lot more so. I think I've never before smelled a fragrance that reminded me so much of a dish as this one. From the first moments on, until about 7 hours in, this was primarily one thing for my partner and me both: Cucumber Salad. Now, I don't know how universally known Cucumber Salad - or the type I'm referring to from a probably very German point of view - is in the world. As such, I will do my best to describe the notes I was smelling. From the get-go, this was a very fresh scent. Watery, green, herbal, aquatic, peppery, with some added sourness and brine. Imagine slicing up a cucumber and think of that smell. It's greenish water, more or less. Now add some salt, some pepper, some vinegar, and some dill. That's the cucumber salad. And this is exactly what Sous Le Pont Mirabeau smelled like. It's fresh, all right. Not shower gel fresh, but green, herbal fresh. The pepper does marvels in this but I could not shake the constant dill note from it and whenever I smelled it, my mind went back to said salad. Throughout the day, I was constantly amazed by just how much I could not get away from this exact smell. There was some variance between my partner and me - on her skin, the vinegar-esque, briny sourness was more present, on my skin, the pepper came out much clearer, but the impression stayed the same. Now while I rave on about how much like the dish this smelled, this did not make it undesireable by any means. It's airy, fresh, briny, marine, herbal, it's a lot of goodness in a bottle. It's probably not exceptionally special but I think on warm days, this is a fantastic wear. It also projected stronger than any other ELdO fragrance I tried so far and kept more than 7 hours of pretty consistent presence before it went into more of a dry-down phase on my skin, going into a generic abstract freshness. On my partner's wrist, it continued going strong even beyond that. This is a very unisex fresh scent that plays nice during warm spring and hot summer days. The association with cucumber salad confused me and played tricks on my mind, but I think this is a very pleasant, long-lasting fragrance. I probably could not wear it without constantly being reminded of the salad, but that might just be my exact skin and nose. I think it's a cool twist on the aquatic green notes freshie and wouldn't be shy to recommend it.

High-quality marine, but too "cold" for my taste. Sous Le Pont Mirabeau is one of those fragrances where skin testing is absolutely mandatory. My initial test on paper was misleading—it pulled strongly like fresh cucumber—but on skin, it transforms into a much more complex, airy marine scent. The citrus here feels green and zesty rather than bright or yellow, and it definitely shares some DNA with Megamare, though it’s significantly lighter and less musky. However, after spending a full day with it, I realized that this profile just isn't for me. It’s a well-executed marine scent, but it leans into that "cold ocean crashing against wet rocks" DNA that I’ve realized I don't enjoy wearing. I much prefer marine fragrances that offer a sense of warmth and sun-drenched salt—like Xerjoff 40 Knots—rather than these cold, stark oceanic profiles. It’s a nice blend, but it didn't earn a spot as a full bottle in my collection. Note: I don't actually own this fragrance; I am writing this review based on my experience with the official Etat Libre d'Orange discovery set.

when I was getting my sample set at the store assistant told me to try this one based on my personal tastes in perfume and it turned into a beautiful photorealistic cucumber on my skin, it was a fresh and bright marine scent and I immediately fell in love with it! once I got home it was the one I tried out first from the sample set out of excitement but the experience was weirdly different than what I had back at the store. it still opens fresh and marine but it also hit me with a LOUD splash of pepper that quickly overpowered anything else, making it into something darker but not in a way I'm particularly interested in. over the next couple hours the pepper dials down which I'm grateful for, letting some other notes to be more noticeable and this is where it sparks my interests once again, there's something that's somehow creamy, musky and hypnotic about it at this specific point. if it was less peppery I would be head over heels for this one, maybe I just need to get a full bottle to experience it like I did at the store in person. 7.5/10

This is a very fresh and aquatic scent. It is very mass appealing, almost in a bath and bodyworks kind of way. That does not mean that I do not like it, it is a nice fragrance. It just isn't anything extremely artistic or whimsical to me. As an aquatic lover, I can picture what I wanted this to smell like and it falls short. The way ELDO described this made me think that this would smell like the scene that they painted. Aquatic, romantic, and anchored with some warmth and dappled with notes of incense that would evoke this feeling of melancholy or sadness. This fragrance does not do that for me in the slightest. If anything, it is a scent that reminds me of the average corporate person walking out of a high end store near the water or crisp breezy day. Nothing in it is smells offensive. It's clean, pleasant, and understated. This would be a work safe scent or wonderful for summers. I just can't hit that love button because it lacks the soul and creativity they were aiming to achieve with their vision.

Spring water, with brisk bergamot, crisp cedar, and the faintest buzz of clary sage. Unusually straightforward and safe for an ELDO. It’s a clean-shaven, Brita-filtered, cutting-season sort of scent. Ice-cold, with a wheel of lemon. I can feel my cholesterol dropping every time I spritz. Office-safe and unisex, but masc-leaning. Perfect for a morning on the reformer or a board presentation. I think I’m smitten because it feels like a more “cologne-y” version of Byredo’s De Los Santos. Unfortunately I get minimal radiance beyond the first thirty minutes. Even on fabric, it plays like a skin scent. Mental Snapshot: A slo-mo shot of a fitness paragon splashing their face in a stainless-steel vessel sink. An unplaceable accent. Soft-spoken, but with a firm handshake. Their business card is embossed only with their name: Enrique Nox. tl;dr: the age of the clean girl is over, the time of the clean boy has come 🧖🏻🧊

I compared and tested this alongside Like This (Tilda Swinton) ELdO which was a fun idea. On the opening blast I much preferred Like This, but on the dry down I much preferred Sous! The initial blast is very bergamot heavy, its peppery and its deep, rich and strong. I am a fan of spices and bergamot usually but there is something lurking in the first sniff of this that I don't like. I don't tend to enjoy frags with an 'ozonic' note to be fair so its probably that in the mid notes. Once dried down however I did really like this! Giving autumn vibes for sure its very warm and spicy, a nice gingery musk on my skin. Pretty good longevity and sillage too. In general though I don't really feel like I overly gel well with ELdO, their frags are a bit synthetic and there's always something hiding in there that puts me off.

total dupe for Book by Commodity! immediately noticed the exact same greeny spa vibe. if you're interested in Book, I would recommend this ELDO over it simply because of the way it lasts forever on my skin. no shame to Commodity, but boy those fragrances last seconds. (this is a review on all ELDO I've tried so far - last all day, even through hand washing, it sticks to my skin like glue! ELDO is the first brand I've tried that lasts this long as a whole.) I love this kind of smell! starts fig leaf and cucumber heavy, but as it sits I get more of the cedar. the marine notes startle me. I am typically not a fan of marine notes at all, but since they are listed here I wish I got more of it so it was more true to its description. putting that aside, clean clean clean and soooo effortless. I'm really pleased.

I guess I’m fortunate in that I can’t pick up any cucumber salad or dill pickle note lol. Kinda wish I got dill, then at least it would be interesting. Personally it evokes a specific memory of solo backpacking in Croatia during a very hot summer. Not sure whether that’s because the notes are reminiscent of the natural life around that part of the world, or because someone at the hostel was wearing something very similar, or both. Either way, I’m not mad at it, it’s aight. I’ll probably finish my sample. Nothing to write home about, it’s soft, fresh clean – I agree with the comments that opined it was generic, but it’s certainly a pleasant enough scent, to my nose anyway (though now I’m not sure how I feel about wearing it, knowing that others around me might be picking up whiffs of dill pickle/salad).

it’s a walk by the city river, the citrus and floral scents of summer wafting by. there’s an underlying smell of dill that tells you the river might not be the cleanest, but it is unobtrusive to my nose. after 5-6 hours it fades into a faintly sweet musk skin scent. i'm quite impressed with the longevity; it lasted 8 hours, and the projection is just right: not too loud yet not unnoticeable. i think this is quite a unique aquatic scent, it's neither ocean nor fresh, pure water, almost kind of muted? like the water is stagnant at places. i think it's probably due to the dill/pickle notes that my mind makes that association. but i don't dislike it! i find it kind of realistic and makes it stand out from other blue/aquatic scents.

Fig is one of my favorite scents. On me the fig note shines..I know it's supposed to smell aquatic, and I get it, but to me the is just a beautiful fig scent. I really like it. But, not sure how many ppl really love fig as much as I do. Must adore fig, to like this one. Decent performance. NOTE- As it dries down it does smell more aquatic as some strange molecule comes forward, with the sandalwood and musk..I would've called this " After The Storm" because the ozone, wet sidewalk, humid scent is so dominant. What I like is, the fig never leaves. It stays throughout. The prices are good on this- as a collector, I may have to pop for a bottle. This is only a summer scent. Can't imagine wearing this in colder weather.

The first time I tried this it made no impression on me (I was probably ELdOed out from their 20 piece discovery kit). Imagine my surprise when I grabbed this again, sprayed, and loved it. It’s like fresh, aquatic... pencil shavings? The wood note is distinctly pencil-smelling, but I find it enjoyable. I wish I got a bit more fig from this to add some depth, and because I think it would make this more feminine-leaning. While I do think this is a unisex fragrance, it’s wood-forward enough on me that I find it a bit too masculine to wear myself, but I would love it on someone else.

I can relate to the comments saying this smells as a salty cucumber salad the most - in Bulgaria we have a cold soup called "tarator", it consists of yoghurt, cucumbers, fresh dill and it's commonly served with chopped walnuts on top. This is exactly the smell I get from this (confirmed by 2 other locals as well). That being said - I don't hate it all, quite on the contrary. It's not reading "food" in the classical sense, instead it just has the freshness of these ingredients and a slight pink peppery note. A good, salty fresh aquatic scent for the summer.

I live in Charleston, SC, USA, and grew up not only close to the beach, but close to the harbor in the historic district. As soon as I sprayed this, I was transported to the seawall of the harbor, with its briny, barnacled, salty air. It was almost so strong as to be uncomfortable - I have never smelled such a literal river-harbor-brine aroma before. The perfume being called Under the Mirabeau Bridge, I read about the Mirabeau, and learned something new. I am pretty impressed by ELDO's ability to fill in the empty spaces ignored by a lot of the industry.

This fragrance is a little odd but overall pretty likable. Smell pretty ozonic but you definitely also get the pepper smell. I personally don't love the pepper smell, but because the ozonic smell is so powerful it doesn't bother me as much. It's very strong overall, and you can smell it at a distance for a significant amount of time, and it doesn't really lose any complexity either. It's a well developed fragrance, but maybe not for everyone. Scent Description: Ozonic and Peppery Sillage: Strong Longevity: 6 hours or so

This is yet another from this brand that smells like clean laundry and fabric softener. I would appreciate a man smelling like this. It's gorgeous. So many notes I enjoy! But I have three or more perfumes with this profile already. That's not a knock against it. It's well blended and has lasted for hours on my wrist, but intimately. This became intimate almost immediately. Someone out there is going to appreciate a really clean skin scent. It's just not full bottle worthy for me.

I’m trying this fragrance out in my quest to find a beefed up version of When The Rain Stops by Maison Margiela. Broadly this is doing the same things the Margiela fragrance does, with Sous being a little more masculine and bright, generic even- perhaps it’s the violet or maybe a clean synthetic musk like those found in detergent? My nose isn’t that sharp. In general, it’s reminding me of most clean/airy scents. Its selling point will be its longevity - will update later -
