Aigner No 1

I like really much this fragrance,it is a very versatile leather with incense,some spices and some bitter herbs.It is quite elegant and i should say it can be used for a romantic occasion.Sadly,the trend of the Aigner brand is "we do frags always with a leather hint and always with a poor performance",and so they haven't again disappointed!

I love the smell but very-very poor in longevity and silage. Aigner needs to make it better either release the new one with adding the word 'intense' or simply remix the ingredients in order to have longer and stronger scent.

If anyone likes DG The One he/she would have an interest in this. The scent is composed similarly. The sweetness is there and so is the wood. But here you may also detect a freshness which makes me to prefer this scent over DG The One. And also, it is rather powerful, although not as powerful as DG, but that is a plus in my opinion. In fact, it is not smelling particularly synthetic as some horrible perfumes out there, even from respected brands. You may also wear it all year around and all day although it leans a little towards dusk and night. But it is truly a very versatile but masculine scent. I definitely like it and I think it is a true bargain made in France. But now, a sincere practical update: Today was my first day wearing E.Aigner No1, and oh what an immediate experience. The young lady at the coffeshop/bakery was so overly polite and service minded while keeping up a good smile which made me very comfortable and glad - although I did not really figure out why. Then I went over to my local supermarket and the young lady clerk rose smiling from her chair twice in order to help me to wrap some birthday flowers. And indeed, that has never ever happened to me before in a supermarket. I was a little puzzled and I did not understand the reason behind these two very nice approaches at first but some minutes later when was walking to my car it struck me: - Etienne Aigner No1 is also an unexpected lady enticer!

This fragrances ideal for formal moment especially dinner and meeting. Woods mixed pepper with maybe caramel. Good smell good longevity. 8/10

I can imagine this as a gift for fathers' day. I think this is very much an "old men scent". i don't see this for men below 60.
