Eudora Rouge

Um chipre super sofisticado, bem feito, com o doce na medida certa e o cheiro da maçã irresistível. Ele tem o DNA do Eudora roxinho, mas são perfumes completamente opostos. Amei o rouge (amo o roxinho também) achei ele suculento, equilibrado, moderno e chamativo 😻. Ele não é agressivo, preenche os espaços próximo a você e isto é perfeito ☺️.

Eudora Rouge Eau de Parfum was launched in 2018, continuing the Eudora E line, which is the noblest within the brand's women's fragrances division. This Rouge version arrived after the repackaging of previous fragrances (Eudora EDP and Eudora Deluxe), which took place in 2017 and brought the visual identity that is still in force today. Eudora Rouge Eau de Parfum is classified as a chypre-floral but presents a behavior more focused on the chypre-fruity. Its fragrance was created by Marion Costero and brings top notes of plum, red apple, and bergamot, making room for a floral body with notes of rose and Egyptian jasmine, in addition to the sweet touch of licorice and tonka bean, on a base with patchouli, labdanum, moss and the exclusive accord called Eudora’s Secret. At the time of its launch in Brazil, the company brought together a team of empowered women to work on communicating the vibrant red of Eudora Rouge, as well as the strong female personality that the fragrance seeks to represent. Eudora Rouge Eau de Parfum is like an explosion of red fruits on the skin, as soon as the fragrance is sprayed. There is a mixture of warmth and sensuality behind luscious and quite youthful nuances. It’s sweetened, but not overly sweet. In a short time, the floral accord gains strength and starts to sustain the fragrance on the skin, leaving behind its innocent personality and becoming sexier. Here, we find a perfume that matches that famous phrase: “sexy, without being vulgar”. It is not a dress tight to the body with a deep cut. I am referring to that spray between the breasts, which exudes in the right measure. In a simplistic way, I would say that Eudora Rouge is a perfume with three key ingredients: apple, jasmine, and musk. The apple, representing the forbidden or enchanted fruit, the one that always deceives the most innocent creatures; jasmine, representing feminine sweetness; and musk, striking and sensual, representing the woman's resistance. On the skin, Eudora Rouge Eau de Parfum shows great performance, but there are those who complain about low projection. In particular, I have nothing to complain about it on any of the occasions of use until I published my review. In my opinion, Eudora Rouge is for lovers of red on the lips, nails, shoes, or underwear. Its fragrance conveys what the color provides and the result is quite satisfactory.

For me it is the best Eudora perfume (which does not mean anything, because I am not in love with Eudora, its scents does not go well with my skin). Begins like a chipre, does resemble a very little bit Miss Dior 2012 than starts get sweeter and sweeter and even getting stronger (?) by the 3rd hour and begins to smell very much like Si and Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming till the dry down. Lasts on my skin for 6/7 hours (not earth shattering but, on me it is the best longevity of all Eudora offerings) with soft sillage at first changing to medium at 2/3 hour mark.

I did not expect to like this flanker since it's red and Eudora fragrances are sooooo sweet. But it turned out to be a true chypre to my nose, yes ma'am. Of course there's sweetness in it but it doesn't make my stomach churn. For those who like Elysee from O Boticário and neither want to spend double the price nor bother with some sweetness, I'd recommend this one. I don't know Si from Giorgio Armani, but I compare this one of the flankers of Miss Dior with candied apple on it.

Coming back to share that this is the best perfume Eudora has currently, to my nose, that speaks volumes because I dislike most of their perfumes. It's all too sweet and I like freshies, vintage and florals way more. Way to go, Eudora!!!
