Instance arrived on the Brazilian market around August 2020. But the Instance Line already existed, with moisturizers, liquid and bar soaps, hand cream, etc. As the first Deo Cologne in the line, it represented a true example of Trickle Up (a term used by some markets). Instance's fragrance is oriental-fruity and has notes of mandarin, raspberry, and pear on top; Freesia, jasmine, plum, and Black Diamond accord, in the body; Sandalwood, vanilla, iris, and Eudora's Secret accord in the base. In my hands, Instance makes a great impression. Golden case and finishings, clear bottle, luxurious appearance, and sensation of a powerful fragrance, in high concentration. However, on the skin, the story is different! The fragrance has a luscious, fruity output, almost a very fragrant jam made of pears. This mix of pear and raspberry is deceiving, and what you see out there is a lot of comments about a pineapple smell, which I honestly don't feel. One problem I see is in evolution, which becomes strange when the central part comes in. It looks like a bad cut when editing a song or movie; a transition is missing. For a while, the fragrance behaves in a confused, almondy, and bitter way, completely escaping the initial proposal. But it regains its balance and returns to be smooth and pleasant, with a creamy base and very rich in vanilla. In my opinion, Instance delivers much less than I expected. The performance is not good, the fragrance does not exude for a long time and the durability is also not the best, especially for a composition with vanilla and accords created to amplify the longevity on the skin. The secret is to wear this perfume for those short-term daily tasks, such as going to the market, going to the doctor's appointment, or picking up your children from school. It is that right option, which gives an air of sophistication and seems to cost three times more than it actually costs. But it is definitely not the ideal perfume for those who have a hectic routine and need a fragrance that stays on the skin for about eight hours, on average. In short, Instance is the famous “cute but ordinary” scent. It does not have a good cost-benefit ratio, especially when compared to other perfumes of the brand, which have greater volume, deliver more quality and even cost a little more (or even less, when in promotion). Maybe an improved version, with 75ml and bigger concentration can solve this issue, something like an Instance Extreme, perhaps?

It does remind me of Fantasy. Young and flirty - nothing luxurious as the bottle design could suggest.
