Kiss Me Rosa Marcante

Kiss Me Rosa Marcante was launched it the end of 2017 and had, as inspiration, the color of lipstick of the same name, which had already been making absolute success with the female Brazilian audience. It is classified by the brand as Oriental Gourmand, but I consider it a Floriental, full of creamy and sweet nuances. According to the manufacturer, it brings a mix of vibrant fruits with a floral bouquet of roses, plus vanilla and a touch of Eudora's Secret accord. Again, different information abounds there. I even saw some web pages citing caramel and marshmallow notes on the composition. But since my work is not limited to what most publishes, I have obtained more precise information with the company about the composition, which includes notes of bergamot, Italian lemon, and lychee, on top; wild strawberry, rose and benzoin, in the body; maltol, vanilla, and musk, in the base, besides the famous Eudora’s Secret accord. Still, we have those chemical compounds that always appear in some perfumes and no one understands, such as Linalool (which imparts floral-sweet scent), Citral (which smells like verbena and lemongrass), Geraniol and Coumarin (smell related to tonka bean). Kiss Me Rosa Marcante manages to combine name and fragrance in an easy and coherent way. Indeed, it is a striking floral scent, made for women who love sweet florals that become creamy and full of vanilla over time. At first, the lychee is the great star of the party. It imparts a sense of freshness coupled with femininity. Then, a sour-sweet appears and the wild strawberry is present, maintaining the balance between the beginning and the end. And as it grows on the skin, Kiss Me Rosa Marcante evolves into a gourmand scent, full of vanilla (not counting the content of benzoin, which reinforces that smell) and with a smoky facet, which sometimes made me think of incense. What is it? Maltol, which is a compound obtained from the barks of some conifers and may smell of caramel and cotton candy, but also the smell of freshly baked bread. Perfumery things! When I compare with the fragrance of Kiss Me Cabernet, I think this one is more commercial and with a more elaborate evolution. And Eudora surprises me, once again, in the quality aspect, because I do not feel any exaggerated synthetic content. I also think this one exhales more, although longevity has not been different. However, it loses its versatility because it can become nauseating on hot days. The visual identity is beautiful and the bottle brings a bit more nuances in pink, in a gradient that ends in black.
