Prelude S.

Prélude S. was launched in 2013 and is part of the S. Line by Eudora, whose concept I explain better in the review of the S. Premium perfume. Once you understand the history of the S Line, it is clear the communication that involved the launch of Prélude S. The term Prélude (from French) means a preliminary action. I think you understand what I am talking about, right? The fragrance of Prélude S. is classified as oriental-gourmand and has notes of cherry and orange blossom, in the head; Ginger flower and Eudora’s Secret accord, in the body; Honey, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, fir balm, and musk, in the base. On the skin, Prélude S. is not just a sweetened fragrance. There are no diminutives here, as it is a sweet bomb, made for those who are fans of gourmand perfumes, those that dominate any environment and make your neighbor, who also took the elevator earlier, to keep reminding your smell all day long. Honey is the key ingredient and the star of this composition. So, if you have come this far and can't stand the smell of honey, be it natural or in cosmetics, this is the time to get out and look for other content. On the other hand, if you are still curious, then you will like to know that Prélude S. follows the same olfactory path as Scandal by Night (Jean Paul Gaultier), for example. But before you think in terms like a copy, similar, inspired, etc. remember that the latter was only released in 2018. On the skin, Prélude S. explodes with a combo of almonds and coconut, which has a dairy aspect and is either of love or hate type. For me, it is the most difficult part of the fragrance, as it gets nauseating if applied with more than four sprays. Once it starts to calm down – although it is not the most appropriate term – Prélude S. brings a more floral side, with facets that resemble soft, almost waxed petals. Then, we have honey! And here, my friend, you don't know if you are the Queen bee, the hive itself, if you’re going to attract the forest bears...honey is everywhere! I already wrote above, but it is worth repeating: Prélude S. is a sweet bomb, that is, it exudes and lasts a lot! If you have some common sense and do not want to disturb and listen to complaints, then you will not wear this perfume on hot days. However, the choice is always yours alone. One thing is certain: anyone who lives complaining about national perfumery (Brazil), more specifically the performance of the fragrances, has not yet known this one, which swallows - without water - several international ones. To conclude, I return to the concept: forget the honey at the time of the foreplay, apply a spray between the breasts and go immediately for something more hardcore, like ice or minty candy, and show that one should not poke the bear.

I can smell honey, but it has an almondy vibe. Honey and musk, giving it confort. I cant smell any flower. Its not sweet (if compared to candy bombs like Pink Sugar, Fantasy, Egeo Dolce).

Happy to have this once again in my collection. It smells like honey and almonds. Not cloying, not too sweet, close to skin, subtle and comfy.
