Eva

I had no idea this perfume even existed, then again I've been out of the game for some time. So, I found it on special at Shoppers Drug Mart, it was in a gift set which was absolutely delightful. Anyways, upon first sniff, like many other reviewers here, there is a strong burst of citrus...to my nose it is a blend of oranges and grapefruit. It is a very fresh scent, not deep really in any particular way but very fresh and pleasant. Unlike many here, I DONT get the cat urine smell on my skin...I do find that odd as usually fresh scents do not marry well with my skin. But "Eva" does...and it's fragrance actually reminds me very much of another fresh favourite of mine, the "Body" by Victoria scent released a few years ago. So, Eva is not deep, but she is pretty. Eva is perfect for spring and summer, mostly daytime wear. I find Eva has to be reapplied every few hours. She also mixes well with some sweeter scents, I've been layering her with an old favourite, Pink Sugar and am very delighted with the combination :) So all in all, Eva is a nice fragrance and I am very happy I purchased it...however, it is NOT one I would have purchased at full price. But I loved it enough to run back and buy one more gift set so I would be set for a good while. Fresh, pretty, not deep, but very girly and feminine. Thumbs up from me :)

Is a fresh-citrusy-clean smell,i like it because is femenine & very recognizable for a citrus fragrance,at first you can smell all the citrus then it become more floral at least it leaves a nice sexy-a little bit warm smell(i think is the musk)the lasting power is not good last on my skin like 2 hours,the bottle is not my favorite i think it looks cheap,the price is high for the poor lasting power but i love the smell so for me it worth it. :) A los de México yo lo probé en Liverpool Coapa y Eva lo presentara el sabado 28 de agosto en Liverpool Polanco a las 2:30.

I bought this after smelling it in Allure. I get sooo many compliments when I wear Eva. I'm surprised noone has mentioned the mint notes in it. It does smell of grapefruit, but I think the minty notes are just as strong. It's very refreshing and long-lasting. Men and women alike seem to like it. One person told me I smelled "delicious" and another described it as "yummy". Now my daughter is addicted to it and she gets as many compliments as I do!

Just bought a set of this on the 50% off Christmas sets at Wal-mart. what a steal. WOW I loved it!!!! A+++++ It's so fresh, clean, still light and very soft, it's great to wear at work, everyone's complimented me on it today. I would definitely recommend trying this if you like very fruity- clean fresh fragrances, yummy like biting into a fresh orange/apple/pear at once. I'm definitely a fan now.

I absolutely love it, it is light and fresh and smells very natural and sexy, like the skin of a lover in the morning.I like the grapefruit notes, but overall it feels very organic and wearable.I just wish it would last longer.

I jsut recently got this for christmas this year and I love it! it's so light but whenb I wear it my wrsits it smells very citrusy the purse is nice too but I gave it to my grandmther as a gift since it wasn't really me.

Very fresh and clean scent. stays almost all day long yet not overwhelming. Perfect for summer days.

I love this perfume, its unique aldehyde dominant perfume with a sweet switch. It's light weight.

I don't know....Its not as horrible on me as it seems to appear to be on a lot of the ladies on the reviews. Its definitely not a favorite but I've smelled much worse and for WAY more money. Too me it smells mostly citrusy...I smell a lot of oranges but I am also picking up on the tea smell as well. I think it smells fresh and clean and is mostly suitable for Summer. Day time wear only. I think you need to give it more of a chance before avoiding it based on the reviews if you've never tried it before. I think it kind of smells like those Fuzzy peach candies that you can buy for a few cents at the variety stores...:) Seems to last long on my clothes. I don't like spraying Citrus on my skin though..It normally irritates my skin if I do :)

was out round town doing shopping. yes perfume shopping included. im such a scentoholic!. anyways tested this one out for curiousity reasons on my back of hand and tried elle intense on other hand. have to say 8/10 for lasting power.its stronger longer lasting scent compared to elle intense. strong citrus scent mainly pink grapefruit. not getting any aldehyde atall either.very soft hint of flowers of jasmine and freesia and lilly of the valley.also getting the neroli and a creamy musk background. not getting other listed notes as i think that the citress notes are v. dominant. could imagine this one being refreshing on a hot summers day.

I was finally able to get this perfume about a week ago from Perfumania. It is a very pleasant scent. The main note that I smell is citrus and then it dries down to a woodsy scent. I would compare it's similarity to Clinique Happy Heart,but not a lot like it. It is not strong at all so I would agree that it might suit those that are bothered by strong perfumes. This is a good addition to someone's perfume collection.(I hope this review is not erased like my other ones)

I'm really surprised at how much hate this perfume gets...it was my signature scent for a couple years, and i still like it and wear it. This is my happy day fragrance...a blast of citrus, and fruit and joy, lasts a long time and its cheap! Quite soapy but nice. A winner in my book. scent: 8 packaging: 8

I don't get the "cat pee" smell that so many people are talking about. I smell a ton of citruses, that are a tad sour, and I can really smell the slightly powdery lily of the valley in the dry down. Maybe the combo of the two are what people think smells like cat pee? I think it smells like shampoo or body wash. To me it smells very similar to Paris Hilton's Heiress, but with a much lighter, less sweet dry down. I own both, and prefer Heiress over this. I will be trying this out in the spring & summer though, as it seems like it would smell better in the warmer weather. Edit: After wearing this a few more times, I can definitely smell the "cat pee" that everyone gets from this perfume. It smells great for the first hour or so after spraying, then bam, the cat pee rears it's ugly head. It smells just as bad, if not worse on clothes, so it's not just my skin chemistry. It's a bummer, cuz I like the opening. I don't want to smell like a litter box, so I gave this one away. My daughter likes it, but even she noticed the way it turns stinky. It smells the same on her as it did on me. I'm not sure if she'll keep it or not, but thankfully this one doesn't project more than 1-2 feet, so I won't smell it unless I'm close to her.

So, the word is that Eva Longoria isn't a fan of perfume. This fragrance was supposedly created in light of her tastes, so unquestionably I expected a soft, inoffensive fragrance, somewhat similar in style to Lolavie by Jennifer Aniston. Well, I'll be damned! If Eva doesn't like perfume, I can hardly imagine her wearing this. 'Sweaty grapefruit' certainly describes this fragrance well. I've worn this fragrance for a good five hours and it certainly hasn't improved. Putrid is a word that springs to mind easily. The citrus accords are acidic, sharp and unbearable. I hate to say it, but Eva smells like hot sick, especially if one had skulled a glass of orange juice prior to hurling. Not only is it unpleasant, but the scent and the packaging reeks of cheapness. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing this fragrance because I dislike Eva Longoria, because I don't. I quite like her actually, but to look at her you'd think she could release a fragrance much better than this. On a good note, this fragrance does last, which is fortunate if you actually enjoy the scent. As for me, I'll be showering straight after this review has been posted.

I love Eva Longoria. I love her as Gabrielle on Desperate Housewives. That is why I bought her cookbook and perfume! :) The cookbook is pretty good..I work in a kitchen myself and I have thrown in a couple of things from there. Anywho.. EVA and I don't get along so well..Its citrus opening has me feeling fresh and radiant for a moment just like d&g's light blue makes me feel. :) BUT then this musty tin can leather note makes me walk a step back and makes me wonder why on earth this had to happen...I wait..and I wait...and it just doesn't settle so well on my skin. After a while it does smell somewhat sexy and nice..but it depends on my mood. That upsets me...I wanted to love it but after many tries...this has become my locker room scent..sorry Eva :(

How shall I put it, this fragrance is just b.l.a.h. Sampled this at the perfume counter at Christmas time and saw it banded at 2 bottles for a discount price. I was "yay! a celebrity frag at an affordable price" but when I tested it that ended my wishes to buy. Talk about nothing special! Its sour and acidic....no flowery goodness, no musky pep! I was so disappointed that Eva put her name to this. Probably it smelled better when the oils were mixed, I don't know. Probably my nose needs to be more attuned to the notes but for those who want to buy, don't expect too much from this. Even a linear fragrance like "Green Tea" by Elizabeth Arden is better than "Eva" Luckily I didn't let this one affect me, I persevered until I got KK Pure Honey!

Floral aldehyde? Really? Admittedly, I never got to try this on skin, but I'm pretty confident the aldehydes barely make an appearance in the overall composition. If I were to classify this at all, Eva would be a floral or floral fruity. Bright and sparkling (yes, this means synthetics), but also a chic scent (yes, this means not teeny-bopper). A unique balance between citruses, freesia, and delicate violets. The woodiness in the base keeps it from being too femme; there's something a little edgy about it. Not entirely off the wall, but unique in its own way. I like. Now to be honest, this is only based on its tester strip value. I suspect the sheer quantity of synthetics would make its performance on skin a little tricky. What a shame.

Being a crazy perfume collector person who is also named Eva, I sort of had to get this one. I knew the reviews were a bit sketchy, but I went for it anyway. After all, my tastes wouldn't necessarily be that of everyone else. Boy, was a wrong. This was really, really NOT good. I wore it several times and just couldn't get into it. Believe me, I tried. It didn't smell at all like cat urine to me, as others have reported, rather it smelled like sour, rotting fruit(?). The longer it sat on my skin the more imbalanced the already wonky notes became, until I felt like I was wearing a fetid citrus orchard. TL/DR: Not recommended. Very poorly designed fragrance.

To me, Eva smells almost exactly like D & G Light Blue. I smell fresh young sweet guava on it. I didn't bother buying Light Blue before since I'm not a fan and it's overly used, I mean it's already a very common scent as almost everyone wants it. Having said that, I don't think I'll be buying a 2nd bottle of Eva. It's not a special scent, it's more of a casual fragrance. Good thing it's not as expensive. BTW, the bottle is the cheapest looking bottle I ever saw.

Eva by Eva Longoria is not a mainstream fragrance. You have to be the kind of person who really likes aldehydes. It’s a leafy fragrance like a tea. Not sweet like grass but, a deep green citrus scent. Heavy on the bergamot and neroli. Lemon freshness and blooming white florals of freesia and lily of the valley. I don’t love it or hate it. It’s certainly unique but, catered to a person with a very specific preference in perfume.
